Would definitely stay at this hotel again when visiting Hong Kong. The hotel is situated in a great location within Tin Hau and close to MTR. The area is quiet and safe with plenty of good restaurants and coffee shops close by. Rooms and hotel were very clean and staff attentive to our needs. The hotel's higher floors offer lovely views of the harbour as well. The hotel is great value and is a lovely place to stay for your first visit to Hong Kong.
This hotel is located in a perfect location for me. It is in a residential neighbourhood, just off the main road so it has a quiet ambience esp during the night. It is also very concenient due to being located just off the main road and very close to the public transit (MTR, tram, bus). The hotel itself is superrr clean and has a really nice smell. The room is spacious and the facility was awesome. I didn't get a chance to try the gym and lounge but I saw it from outside and it looked nice, clean, and tidy. However, you need to deposit HKD 2,000 when checking in. It's either me who didn't pay attention to the T&C or there was no clear information about it, but as someone who didn't use credit card at that time, it was a bit inconvenient as I needed to withdraw extra cash and this cash wasn't eventually spent because my flight was at 9 AM. I will definitely recommend Little Tai Hang or book another room again when I come back to HK.
I’ve been wanting to stay at this hotel ever since I saw it listed on Agoda during the pandemic lockdowns. When I finally got the chance, I can confidently say that I made the right choice. The hotel and its rooms are well-maintained and clean. Surprisingly, despite being located in a quieter part of Hong Kong Island, it’s still conveniently close to public transportation and a variety of shops and restaurants.

“For repeat visitors to Hong Kong”
First, the location is suitable for repeat visitors. I recommend it for those who can stay for more than five days and can speak English or Cantonese. The area where the hotel is located is close to the subway station and has a charming retro and calm atmosphere. However, for first-time visitors to Hong Kong who are only staying for two or three nights, I think it would be better to stay more centrally to enjoy without wasting time. Additionally, the hotel also functions as a serviced apartment, so it doesn’t provide overly attentive service. It has a comfortable distance that allows long-term guests to enjoy their stay without being bothered. However, if you have any requests, they will respond immediately. The housekeeping service was particularly excellent. Therefore, being able to speak English or Cantonese is essential. There are few rooms with bathtubs, but I was lucky enough to be able to book one. The room is 25 square meters, which is ample space for one person to spread out their luggage. However, it may feel cramped for two people. There is only a desk, not a sofa. The higher floors have larger rooms or apartments, but the view of the sea from the mid-level floors was also very satisfying. At night, you can see the illuminated night view across the river. Even while soaking in the bathtub, you can enjoy the night view instead of just looking at the toilet, which was relaxing. On the mountain side, there is also a temple called Renfagong and a park, which I think is not bad during the daytime. The room was well cleaned, and I had no issues at all. However, and this is not the hotel's fault, a large cockroach appeared in the middle of the night. Fortunately, I’m not afraid of cockroaches, so I killed it with my slipper and called the staff to clean and disinfect. For those who are terrified of cockroaches, this could be a terrible experience. It’s a quiet area, so you don’t hear road noise, but the walls are thin, so you can hear the voices of the neighbors well. You can even hear someone sneezing from the next room. Another downside is that the washing machine and dryer take a long time. The washing machine takes an hour and a half. The dryer, surprisingly, can take as little as three hours and sometimes doesn't dry even after five hours. It's understandable for electric dryers, but for those used to gas dryers that take 30 minutes to dry, this could be a frustrating experience. Also, during winter, it gets quite cold because there is no heating. It’s good to remember that if you request an additional blanket, it will cost 100 HKD per day. I tend to feel cold easily, so I thought about choosing a different hotel during winter. From Hong Kong Station, it costs 80 HKD by taxi on the way there and 70 HKD on the return. It takes about ten minutes. The restaurant on the GF and 1F offers a 10% and 15% discount if you show your room key. I think that is a very nice service, but the food was not delicious enough to highly recommend. It’s at a level where I might go if they offered half price. However, this might just be because I’m used to inexpensive and tasty restaurants in Tokyo. Both places were bustling with local customers. I heard there are many highly-rated restaurants in the surrounding area, but in the end, you have to go out to the busy streets to find good restaurants. Some people may find this area quite boring. At check-in, a deposit of 2000 HKD was charged, along with a lodging tax of about 160 HKD. The lodging tax is non-refundable, but the deposit will, of course, be returned if there are no issues. However, I was told it would take 14 days. Overall, I would like to stay here again. However, I think some guests may not find this hotel suitable, so I wrote all the information.
