Amazing service from staff and great location”

Lotte City Myeongdong was a great choice. Close to subway, airport bus stop. Close to Myeongdong shopping area and its food everywhere! Great service from the staff made a good impression. We are checked in by Sophia Oh. She is very pleasant. Always smiling and very thorough explaining everything to us. The room is clean and pleasant. We asked for a quiet room and we had a room on the 26th floor. Probably can improve on providing little things such as cotton squares, more refreshments (coffee etc) Concierge is helpful especially Kim who saw us out to our taxi. Staff at the hotel are really courteous and always greeting, smiling and bowing. We return to the hotel for another night due to some reason. Will definitely be our come to hotel if we return to Seoul again.

Fresh and Strategically Located”

This hotel is fairly new so everything is fresh and shiny. Among the hotels I viewed online, Lotte City Hotel has bigger rooms in terms of sqft. Location wise, I love that its between Myeongdong and Insadong. That makes both cities within walking distance and so are restaurants and stores. Though all activities are close by, its still a block away making it secluded, secure and quiet. The Airport Limousine bus stop and the subway are also right by the hotel's entrance making commute easy. Overall, we enjoyed our 5 days at this hotel and I would highly recommend it to couples and families travelling to Seoul.

Nice environment ,clean and accessible”

The hotel is new,good location ,the airport bus No.6015 just opposite the hotel,the staffs are nice and helpful ,a staff help me to carry a big box to the bus stop on my checkout day.They provide the parking space for the customers that is good for my friends to meet me there.I will come again and stay at Lotte City Hotel Myeongdong

business hotel, convenient location”

pros: spotless, exellent facilities with heated toilet seats, comfy bed. staff are polite and efficient, very close to places of interest (10min walk to Myeong Dong shopping area, 15 to Insadong area, 25min to the palaces) and the entrance to the metro (line 2 and 3) is right next to the hotel, (But it's a maze down there and another 10min walk to line 3, so mostly of the time we just walk everywhere), lots of eatery next to the stream past the TIC; cons: room is on the smaller side, bed is quite small too (about 1.3M wide, not exactly a double bed) and the room gets quite warm during the night. but in general we enjoyed our stay there.

Perfect Hotel for Holiday in Seoul”

We were staying for 7 days at Lotte City Hotel. Room was nice (bed was a bit small, but everything else was great, very clean as well, carpet was new). Staffs were all very nice and helpful, they helped us to get to where we wanted to go (their english was okay too). And the best part was 7/11 market within the hotel, so we could easily get everything we need (most important: Binggrae Banana Milk :) !) Very recommended for families..

Our family stayed for 6 nights and we had a great time! Positives: great location (just a 5min walk to myeongdong and the area is very quiet unlike hotels within myeongdong); value for money (very new hotel, nice layout of rooms and very clean, toilet is spacious, enough luggage space and cabinet/drawers to put your things, has a gym and self service laundry plus water station on the same floor); warm and accomodating staff (can speak good english, helpful and gives great recommendations); right across Eulgiro 3-ga subway station which has an elevator (gives you instant access to lines 2&3); very near 6015 airport bus stop (just a 5min walk, ask the driver where to get down); lots of convenience stores, coffee shops and restaurants around the hotel (no need to go far, just right outside); near myeongdong cathedral if you want to hear mass (5min walk as well) Would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Good and Recommended”

Modern clean hotel near Myeongdong and 12 min walk to Lotte Dept Store. Airport bus station 4 min walk. Close to subway with direct line to Co-Ex Mall (World Trade Center) across the river. Good service in general but not much help for day tours (simple restaurant bookings ok). Room size just average but more than compensated with a comfortable bed. Will come back.

Very comfortable and helpful staff”

The hotel is just a 5-minute walk away from the major shopping street, Myeongdong. The location is also very convenient to get around Seoul since the location is very central. The staff were very helpful and speak perfect English to make sure my stay is comfortable and pleasant. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I'd stay at this hotel again when I go back to Seoul.

Experience with Lotte City Hotel - 6 days ”

Location - 10 min slow walk to Myeondong busy street. 3 mins walk to Airport Shutter Bus stop which is Awesome! Room Cleanliness - Great! Facilities - Limited number of lift to serve the whole hotel- 3 main lift. A problem during morning peak when a lot of tourist check out. Staff - Very helpful when I am in need of assistance. Overall experience with this hotel was still great. Room was a bit small & below our expectation and this could be due to our selection of room type when we book. For those who wish to have spacious room, pls double check the available room type. From Lotte City Location- you could take a slow and cool stroll to Isadong area if you don't mind walking about 20 min instead of taking the train. Hope above is helpful to those who want to consider this hotel as an option.

Good hotel ! ”

Location is very convenient, and it is just 8-10mins walk to myeongdong, Near to namsan tower too. There are quite a few of hip cafes around the hotel area, and it is very convenient if you'd like to grab a cup of coffee when you are on the way back after a long shopping day. It is connected to eujilro-il to eiljiro sam ga station, you can walk up from the underground pass link to the subway and 1-2 mins walk to the hotel. I like this hotel, and will book this hotel for my next visit to Seoul :))

Super Wonderful ”

Location is great, near to many tourists attractions via subway of not too many stops. With subway being 3mins walk from hotel and 2 subway lines are available, this makes traveling with subway very convenient. Myeong Dong is just a 5-8minutes walk from hotel.

Recommended hotel in Seoul ”

Having a nice stay here.... Location is very easy access to MRT n Myeongdong shopping area, only need walking around 5-7 minutes. Lots of mini market, coffee shop and restaurants near this hotel, We tried 2 restaurants and both is delicious. To flying back home, we used Airports shuttle bus, just around the corner , only need 15.000won/person to Incheon Airports. And takes 1hour20mnts. If I got a chance travel to Seoul again, I will stay here again . Highly recommended hotel. Thanks

Small room but great location”

Walking distances to Myeongdong shopping, Insadong, Cheongsadong stream, and if you are used to walking, other must see places are reachable by foot as well. Its room is clean, but very small. Would be nicer if there was an extra table or armchair. The concierge were always very helpful, even though English was difficult for some. If you speak/understand Chinese-Mandarin communication would be much improved. That was the case in most of Seoul. Lobby is on second floor so there isn't much space to hang out there. I love that the room comes with both 220V standard and 110V outlets and USBs which came in very handy for recharging multiple devices simultaneously. If I have to make a negative comment, it would be the room do not come with iron and board. The hotel has a common utility room on the 3rd floor with washer, dryer, regular iron and steam iron. 500 won for detergent, 3000 won for washer.

Modern and Cozy”

Location: Located near Euljiro 3-ga, it's surrounded by restaurants, so finding food is not an issue. You can walk to Lotte Department store from the underground shopping mall which links ot Euljiro 1-ga station. To get to the hotel, airport shuttle drops you at Eulji-ro 2ga (Pine Avenue), and from there it's a short 3 mins walk over. Alternatively, since it's near the metro, you can take the metro there. Hotel: The room is modern and cozy. I was staying on the 5th floor, so no view to talk about. But since I spend most of the time outside, that's okay. Hotel staff can communicate in fluent English and were friendly and welcoming.

Spacious Room, Conveniently Located in the City of Seoul”

Lotte City Hotel is located right next to Euljiro-3 Subway Exit. Airport Bus Stop is also just opp the hotel. Room is spacious and comfortable. Staff at front desk reception speaks good English and are friendly and helpful.

New hotel, close to amenities.”

Quiet and new hotel which is situated next to Eujilro 3 Sam-ga subway and diagonally across Myeong-dong shopping area (5-10 mins walk). If you carry heavy luggage, take airport limousine bus no 6015 (15000won) to hotel is much better and easier than subway.

New & Clean Hotel at reasonable price”

Clean hotel for business travelers. Though not right in the heart of Myeong Dong, the hotel is very convenient. 10 mins walk to Myeong Dong and Insa Dong, only few minutes walk to MTR (and takes 2 stations to get to Dongdaemun). Buffet breakfast has international cuisine that serves Western and Asian travelers. There are gym and laundry too, very comprehensive.

Good Business Hotel”

The hotel is located in Myeongdong, but not the heart of the shopping area. You need to walk around 10 minutes to the shopping area and the nearest subway station. However, I will consider it is the advantages of this hotel, cause you can enjoy the quiet neighbourhood and many good quality coffee shop just nearby. Further, not too many group tourists stay in this hotel, you will find a peace of mind for your trip. I would say this hotel is good for business travellers, not for the one who prefers the convenience of shopping and sightseeing. In general, the hotel itself is well maintained, the room is clean and the staff is having good command of english. The restaurant (on lobby floor) was not really up to standard, I ordered one lemon tea and Egg Benedict, they are the disastrous. The lemon tea's color is just like a water, not the tea, when I tried to show the pictures to the waitress about what is the lemon tea, it seems she has no idea about what was the problem - too sweet, without a bit of tea's taste. Further, I have never experienced such a deep fried egg Benedict with the salty tomatoes sauce. I prefer they serve me the Hollandaise sauce from the ready made bottles. If you don't try the food over there, this hotel is almost perfect.

Convenient location. You can walk to Myeong Dong, Euljiro-3 and Euljiro-1 stations from the Hotel. Bed was comfortable and room was clean.

nice staff and excellent facility”

i book my room with no bathtub, the very standard one but we request to change and the staff allow even thought the one with bathtub is more expensive. i messed up my booking and book a day earlier to checkout and staff also advise to book through this app so it is cheaper than booking directly there. there is also gym right beside the laundry service. laundry is 4000 won for wash and dry and there is a detergent dispenser at 500 won. the gym have nice facility too and there’s usually barely any people so it’s nice for people who don’t usually gym and just want to try out!! would recommend except the location as it is quite far from the shopping streets in myeongdong! if u know the way, you can reach myeongdong really fast !!
