Comfortable enough”

Spent few days in Khao Yai and booking at MVP was one of the best choice we did. MVP emailed us couple of days before our check in that they'll do an ATK for free before they let us in. And they did, from their entrance gate there was like 6 nurses there that will do the swab. You'll have the result after a few minutes. Entering the vicinity will take your breath away, you feel like youre a princess from a fairytale. Greeted and taken cared of by Tim, the GSA. He was so friendly, informative and very accomodating. He gave us one of the best room. Thank you Tim, we liked the room so much. (Room1309). It has THE BEST VIEW (of course), blower, safety box, cable tv - has English channels, bath rob, slippers, bath tub, hot & cold shower (cold water wasn't working on wee hours, i dont know why) and transparent power button. Enjoyed our coffee at the veranda while watching the sun rises. I recommend to book the room with buffet breakfast, they have a lot of choices to choose from. There are only 2 restaurants at the hotel, Thai resto and an Italian resto. And one coffee shop. Better come here with a car since going in and out of the hotel is not that easy. No shops/7 11 nearby, its a bit far from the community. But if you're within the vicinity, they have a buggy that will take you to places like their coffee shops, or moving from bldg.to another bldg. Pool was normal, except for the view. It was always extra. Staffs can speak english, their GSA, housekeeping, Bellboy, Waitress. So communicating with them was not that extra effort knowing you are in Thailand. Would definitely come back.

Awesome Scenery”

The scenery was beautiful, however the location is a little further away than I expected. Google map showed us the wrong way into a rocky road which almost got our car in trouble.. I wish the roads were a little bit more taken care of. But the golf courses was so good (need a little work on the caddies), the food was moderate.

The hotel is old and quite dirty. The facilities in the room is not in standard. The water system is always out of order. I am not satisfy and disappointed.

Place is nice, but maintenance is bit disappointing. We got a suite with two bedrooms. First toilet at the hallway was not flushing at al, in master bedroom was leaking and in the second bedroom needs to be flushed 3 times to clean toilet properly. Showers without any pressure, hardly any water passing thru.

Prepare yourself for potholes on the drive to the hotel. Greeted with a covid test straight off the bat. Checked in fine, but staff were no where to show us where our villa was. They clearly need to hire more staff. Villa itself was spacious but it's old and missing cooking utensils. We phoned the reception and house keeping but no one picked up the phone! We then went to the reception to ask and was told "customers are not expected to cook..." and was asked to get the utensils from their kitchen... This staff was really unprofessional and soared the entire trip. Don't be fooled by the nice pictures, there are better hotels out there.

Fabulous pool villa. Great for family travelers. Swim, cook,eat,jog,scooter,ride bikes,relax,take photos and lots of activities to do together.

Bad service ”

Slow and bad service. Staff did not introduce anything about the hotel. Lack of staff. We were staying at penthouse. Toilet is bad. Lack of pillows. Lack of towels. Slow room service. Difficult to book restaurants.

- lots activity for toddler. -towel too old and not so clean. Also the slipper. - toilet not clean. Lots of mosquitoes and some bug. - not so many choice of breakfast. Quality of breakfast also not that good. - the service was great though.

Totally over price property”

The road to the resort is a complete disaster. Over price villas with low quality standard , dirty environment around the swimming pool which no one of my friends would jump into it. complete disappointment.

I booked 3 bedrooms pool villa, it is not just 4-5 thousand per night. It is 10k ++ per night. So I hope the service and place are much better for this. So here's is what I have been through while I try to relax at this place 1. At booking, I have issues, the staff answer my call and only told me that she does not know anything, did not know, and hung up on me. I try to be calm and call again 4 times. No one answered my call 2. I arrived at the pool villa on 30th October 2021, there are hairs on a pillow in the Master bedroom and on the bedsheet several pieces and in the 2nd bedroom has several hairs too and the watermark(I don't know what is that but we are not gonna sleep on that for sure) on the bedsheet! No slippers **So I called the room service and told them that I want 4 slippers and the pillow and bedsheet need to be changed. Please send someone to clean the room. I called another 3 times because it took so so long It took around 1 hour+, 1 staff came to our pool villa and gave me 3 slippers(not dry) and 1 bedsheet to me to REPLACE IT BY MYSELF!!! are you kidding me, the service is so freaking poor. 3. At the pool space, there are birds sh*t , none clean this place? 4. The staff at the counter talk to me like I'm his friend, not in a good way, but like he does not see any inconvenience of us on our vacation and how much money we spend at your place. Not polite at all 5. Only 2 good things at this resort are the waitresses and waiters of the resort's restaurant and The VIEW MOVENPICK resort Khao Yai is so disappointing

Pros: 1. Scenic view - Mountain, Golf course, etc. 2. Awesome Castle view 3. Restaurant 4. Animal feeding, horse riding for kids 5. Bicycle riding Cons: 1. Over crowded place 2. Messed up car parking for hotel. Villa it is fine. 3. Rooms could have been better. 4. Super expensive
