Where to stay in Mae Hong Son Town Center
Mae Hong Son Town Center hotels & accommodations

This is probably one of the best options in Mae Hong Son. Some say it is "out of town"... No, it is a 10 minute easy walk from the lake - which I consider to be the centre. The rooms are spacious and clean and very well equipped. Good illumination, lots of electrical outlets - yes, also at the bedside, good AC, refrigerator, TV... you name it. The pool however looked a...

This is an older hotel, but it's part of the Imperial chain of hotels so obviously of a very high standard and the best hotel in Mae Hong Son city. Weather was cool in the mornings as it was early January when we stayed, so a swim in the pool wasn't looking very tempting, but during the day or by March it surely would be. Breakfast was OK but could have been a little b...

the resort is set among gorgeous rice paddies and beautifully laid out. the shan style huts are luxurious - best of all, we were upgraded upon arrival! location is great, just outside mae hong son town and very near a trail to the mae surin national park. only complaint is that the restaurant is rather expensive and the food so-so. otherwise, we had a wonderful stay an...

You can definitely tell the building is very new. Everything was very clean. WiFi was strong. There is a great pario overlooking the mountains, however no patio furniture (chairs etc) to sit outside and enjoy it. A short walk into the town center. We rented a moped and it just took a few minutes.

Location, near the lake, free transfer to the airport (about 4 min driving) in the Main Street of Mae Hong Son. Breakfast is very basic. Free bike. Exceptionally friendly nice staff. They are good people. Please do not expect staff speak English, you are going to their country, just respect their language.

Ignore the 2 star rating, this place is great, beautiful grounds and very nice room. Staff a bit slow but cottoned on reasonably quick that we had a booking! Very very good value for the quality, located just on outskirts of Mae Hong Son but only 10 min walk to centre. We ended up booking an extra night.

We had a lovely time at Gims Resort in Mae Hong Son with our 2 children. The bungalows were very nice stand-along dwellings with decks out back. Ours were positioned along a rice paddy with great views of the surrounding hills. It was enjoyable to wake up in the mornings and relax on the patio in the lounge chairs and enjoy the scenery. The resort is a bit out of town...

Highly recommended for those who wanna visit Mae hong son.. Everywhere is within walking distance for those who stay at this hotel. The new wing built is very clean. The heater produce hot water compare to other hotels which I've stay before in Mae hong son. Overall a good experience. Will book this hotel again if I ever visit Mae hong son again.

This hotel is in a quiet, out of town, rural setting, which is very nice as long as you don't mind being quite a way from town. The bungalows are nice wooden buildings and are very comfortable. Staying here you will either need transport or you will have to phone for a tuk tuk to pick you up. Considering how far out of town it is, they could have provided a small shop ...

I absolutely loved my state just outside of Mae Hong Son at Sang Tong Huts. It was one of the highlights of my trip. I loved staying here. The owners were really lovely people and the accommodation was very nice. I enjoyed being away from town (5 mins by Tuk Tuk) but others may like to get something in Mae Hong Son. I think being in the quiet area is best for me though. Lovely breakfast as well.

The new development is gorgeous. The rooms are big with plenty of natural light. The aircon works perfectly and the showers are great. The whole place was spotlessly clean and it’s easily one of the best value places we’ve stayed in Thailand. Conveniently located close to restaurants and temples in Mae Hong Son.

Friendly Owner has a nice place secluded from the hustle, bustle, and noise of the city south of town. If you are friendly with an Asian toilet, it's a great getaway. There was a cold snap, and the Extra Blanket on the bed kept me toasty all night. I like the place and the people. Will stay again.

considering the limited choice in mae nong son this was a fantastic find 10 minutes out of town on the banks of the river accommodation is in individual thai style wooden chalets which are immaculately clean the manager could not have been more helpful even calling the driver to run us into town on her day off one surprise was that when booking on agoda i was press...

Ban Kiangdoi is located outside the town of Mae Hong Son so you will need your own transport. It is definitely not you average hotel. Each room is individually designed. This is one of the best hotels i have stayed in in Thailand, especially for the price paid @ 900 baht. We stayed in a mini house which has just been opened. Perfectly located outside town of Mae Hong Son (you'll need a car to get there). Place is quiet, no noisy/aggressive dogs. There were only few guests that day so place was relaxing and serene.
