First of all, it's located close to Sokcho Beach (within a 10-minute walk with an elementary school child), right next to an area with many restaurants, so the location is fantastic. It's especially nice that it's a hotel with a swimming pool, so when you want to play in the water with kids without going to the sea, or enjoy night swimming, it's great. There are always safety personnel on duty, which is comforting. The pool isn't very large, but it's perfect for young children in kindergarten and elementary school to have fun, and the snacks sold at the convenience store are affordable, as are the sunbeds. (There is a changing room, but no shower, so you'll have to go back to your room to shower.) One of the best things is that each room has a washing machine, allowing you to wash and spin-dry clothes daily. It was also excellent that there is a small bathtub in each bathroom. The staff were friendly, and there were many reviews mentioning soundproofing issues, but luckily I was given a corner room on the top 7th floor, so I had no soundproofing problems. Since many reviews pointed this out, guests are already aware and tend to be cautious about it. Additionally, having a convenience store on the first floor was very convenient. The underground parking can be insufficient when crowded, but there is a free public parking lot right next to it, so it wasn't too much of an inconvenience. I stayed in an ocean view room, which didn't have a wide-open view of the sea but rather the harbor's water, mainly seeing fishing boats, shipyards, and the city across from it, which also has its charm. There are four elevators in operation, so there were no issues with crowding at the elevators. The breakfast buffet had a limited number of food options, and honestly, the taste and quality of the ingredients were just mediocre. However, as it's a buffet, it allows for a hearty breakfast so you can spend the whole day playing at the beach. The room felt small because it was packed with various amenities (shoe cabinet, wardrobe, drying rack, washing machine, refrigerator, etc.). It especially felt smaller near the door. But this is a trade-off for having access to those amenities. Also, the refrigerator is quite large, which was great. The bed was comfy, and the overall environment was pleasant. It feels like the hotel management has put a lot of thought into making the experience enjoyable for guests. I recommend it if you're coming with family for a good value trip!
