Great location, great service”

We enjoyed our stay in Mercure Bangkok Siam Hotel. We were given an upgrade to the executive suite which we truly appreciate. The hotel is in a great location - not far from all the "actions" yet you don't get the noise from the crowd. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed our time at the lounge during happy hour. It was Loy Kratong on the day we stayed and we were offered a float basket each, although we didn't make it back in time to float the basket in the pool. In any case, we really appreciate the gesture by the lounge staff. Only a couple of grouses - 1) We had was the pushing of cart in and out of the service lift as early as 5am in the morning as our room was facing the service entrance directly! Perhaps the hotel can consider not doing such transportation so early in the morning. 2) We were offered discounts to breakfast as our booking did not include, however, front desk commented that we need to purchase for all guest (there were 3 of us but 1 of us don't eat breakfast). Suggest to allow guest to decide how many to buy instead of insisting on all guests per room. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will be back (when the price is right).

Clean, modern & lifestyle”

My 5 days 4 nights trip to Bangkok was stay with this Mercure Bangkok Siam Hotel which gave me a pleasant,wonderful and comfortable home feeling experience on this hotel. The hotel itself has a concept of a modern lifestyle living where the hotel comes with the facilities on the top roof consist of gymnasium, sky bar and swimming pool. Location wise is perfectly located at the heart of the city where the hotel just right in front of the BTS subway, it connects to all the big shopping malls such as MBK shopping mall, Terminal 21, Siam Paragon, Siam Center and etc. Most important thing is their prompt and efficient services to the customers upon your requests such as room service, front desk and bar on F&B service. I'll definitely get another stay in their hotel for the next trip to Bangkok. =)

New and nice hotel within Siam area”

We are frequent travellers to Bangkok and it was our first time staying in a diff hotel from Novotel Siam Sq, I must say we are very satisfied with the hotel. For the price we paid, we can be close to Shopping area in Siam, easy access to n fro airport, staff were also very friendly and spoke gd english.We arrived early that morn and the room was ready for us. Our room had city view and we were on high floor. BTS National stadium is right infront of hotel. Siam Paragon, Siam Centre, Siam sq, Central world were within walking distance. Hotel TOP in 2012 so everything is very new. We will definitely make Mercure Bkk Siam one of our choiced hotel in the near future.

Good Hotel choice in Siam”

We enjoy the stay with Mercure Bangkok Siam Hotel. Room is more spacious than shown on the pictures, clean and Air conditioning is comfortable. Small swimming pool is opened long hour for our enjoyment. Great location, perfect for shopping at MBK and various Siam malls. Downside is the traffic of Siam is bad, all taxi driver argue not to put meter. Worst case we encountered is Taxi driver tell us to WALK THERE after we insist Meter. One dissatisfaction with the hotel staff is that they cannot help on pre-booking Taxi.

Pleasant and enjoyable stay at Bangkok”

Just had my recent 3 nights stay at Mercure Bangkok Siam Hotel. The hotel is situated next to National Stadium station and opposite MBK. There is a decent massage parlour on the right of the hotel further down from Holiday Inn which opens till midnight daily. There is a 7-eleven and coffee shop on the left of the hotel. Everything is within reach. Overall a pleasant and enjoyable stay at Mercure Bangkok Siam Hotel. I would highly recommend the hotel!

Great hotel, great location”

The Mercure Bangkok Siam Hotel was very modern and clean, with wonderful staff, in addition to being situated within 100 feet of the entrances to the National Stadium BTS (Silom Line). Within walking distance were the Bangkok Art & Culture Center, street food vendors, two 7-Elevens (one within the hotel itself), a Tesco Lotus grocery store, and the MBK mall (which has a wide variety of food options, especially the inexpensive food court on the 6th floor and the more expensive international options on the 5th floor, as well as a movie theater). The location is also served well by taxis, tuk-tuks, and a bus stop a few hundred meters away.

Definitely Worth Your Money!”

Had a great time at Mercure Bangkok Siam! The location is so convenient that we can practically walk to all major shopping malls in Bangkok City, and with the BTS National Stadium station at its door step, we can take a train to any other destinations beyond. The staff were efficient in handling our checking-in, and the welcome drink was a nice touch. The rooms were neat with a modern/contemporary look. Daily newspapers connect you with world news even when you're on holiday! Lastly, the Premier Lounge at level 25 offers simple breakfast/all day snacking at NO COST at all!! It's been great staying at Mercure Bangkok Siam!!

Good stay, easy, without problem”

Hotel is new and very well located in Bangkok Shopping centers: across the road, a bit on the left side (if you keep Mercure behind you), there is the MBK shopping center, where you can find any kind of objects (do not get confuse by the "Tokyu Department store", that you meet when you enter from the Skytrain passage.... go further inside): from clothes to souvenir, from electronic to any kind of gadgets. 4th floor is for mobiles/tablets in general, 6th floor for anything plus a Thai food center where you can choose everything (worth the money). After MBK, still on the left, you can reach the Siam complex (Siam Discovery, Siam center, Siam Paragon). For the Breakfast, even if is very good, do not take the one of the hotel: a bit too expensive, We got a problem with one room (strong smell o solvent, paint.... as hotel quite new) but staff changed immediately.

Worth every minute of my stay”

It was a great stay at Mercure Bangkok Siam Hotel. The convenience to the BTS train system and the shopping district is a plus. The overall cleanliness of the hotel is very impressive. The room is spacious and the view is good. The concierge was very helpful to my request and the receptionists were very friendly. Overall, the staff in the hotel were helpful and I had a great stay there. Well done. I will definitely stay there again.

Great location and breakfast. ”

I arrived from Chiang Mai on the overnight train, so arrived at the hotel around 9am, and the checkin staff very efficiently gave me an early check-in. The check in agent was very polite, friendly and professional. The room was on the 22nd floor, with wonderful views of downtown Bangkok. The room is of very modern design, very quiet, with blackout curtains. The location is great. Breakfast buffet was good. Nice pool / bar area on rooftop. Very near to major malls like MBK (just opposite) and Siam Paragon (just 5 minute walk). Also didn't take me long to walk (only about 20 minutes) to the Phaya Thai train station to get the train to the airport. The hotel was great, but I feel the price was a little high. Hope to see Mercure offer some better promotional rates. Overall I'd still give the stay 8/10.

Would definitely stay again”

We arrived early hours of the 17th March, checked in and went straight to our room, very nice comfortable room. Great view from our window. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Mercure Bangkok Siam Hotel and if ever back in Bangkok would most definitely stay here again. We have had the best holiday starting with our week in Bangkok. The sky train is right outside the door and across the road is every shoppers paradise with MBK. We had busy days in Bangkok and it was always nice to come "home" to a swim in the pool if we wanted or the comfort of our room.

Cozy & nice hotel”

This is my first time visit BKK,and i chose this hotel as the location is really a advantage to me as it is just beside MBK & Siam square & BTS National Stadium. I Travel alot and this is the first time i dont need any sleeping pill to help me to sleep cause the room are so cozy n the bed is so comfortable. I will sure stay in Mercure Bangkok Siam hotel if i come to BKK.

We stayed here for 4 nights. Been to Bangkok many times but this is our first stay at Mercure Bangkok Siam. Hotel is situated just beside BTS National Stadium. If you're taking the train from the airport to the hotel, make sure you did not pack your whole wardrobe with you. There is no escalator down so you have to take stairs. The hotel is right beside the BTS exit, you won't miss it. Getting anywhere in Bangkok is very accessible by train, tuktuk or taxis. There is an abundance of taxi drivers around. You could get the concierge at the lobby to get you a taxi. They're hardworking and friendly, honest men. I visited during my birthday and was pleasantly surprised to receive a slice of cake and a card from the management. Thank you very much. Overall a pleasant stay.. room was always cleaned when we get back. The staff are ever ready to help. The pool is beautiful. Location is very good. If I may, I would recommend having a Halal or strictly vegetarian food menu. It would also be great if the hotel provides basic toiletries such as toothbrush and comb. A pair of slippers would be excellent too. Highly recommend Mercure. If you're going on a budget, it's well worth the additional dollars spent here. You'll enjoy yourself :)

Excellent location and very courteous staff ”

We booked a total of 4 rooms at Mercure Bangkok Siam for our group of 9 during our recent visit to Bangkok. Its location is excellent, being close to major shopping malls like MBK and Siam Center as well as SkyTrain. We stayed at the executive floor and had access to its executive lounge on the 25th floor. The staff there, especially Sakky and Ammy are most friendly and courteous. The only negative was that it took almost 10 hours for them to fix its Wi-Fi when it went down one day.

Service beyond expectations”

We travel to Bangkok two or three times a year and usually stay at Mercure Siam. You cannot beat the location. The rooms are well appointed and designed. Quiet too. We take the Executive option as it is money well spent for the Executive Club and extras in the room. Now there is a new 7 Eleven too in the foyer which is especially convenient. The staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. Speak excellent English. Only one minor negative is the cable television picture quality is poor. However I do not watch much television so not an issue really for myself. Great for families with a child as the sofa makes a great 3rd bed for a child up to 11 years I would suggest. This hotel would be my first choice for Bangkok unless you seek 5 star.

Comfortable, convenient”

Easy check in and check out. Door attendants and front desk are helpful and can understand English. Housekeeping is topnotch. The hotel is right beside the National Stadium BTS station, a few steps away from Bangkok Art and Culture Center, and just across MBK shopping mall. There are also street food vendors outside, near 7-11. I tried it and didn't have any stomach issues after. When taking a cab, I just tell the driver to drop me off at MBK since they speak very little English. From the hotel, Siam Discovery, Siam Center, Siam Square and Paragon are walkable. Central World is a little farther. I highly suggest to take the BTS to Childom (Central World) and walk your way back through the malls so you don't get tired fast. Overall good takeoff point when going around Bangkok. Cab drivers usually negotiate fares when they know you're a tourist. General rates: hotel to airport is 400, hotel to Grand Palace 150 to 200 depending on the driver, hotel to Pratunam / Platinum mall is 100. Please take note that Pratunam is very near. On metered taxi it costs around 50 baht only. Still best to find a taxi that agrees to use the meter as it is much cheaper but I'm giving the rates charged to me as your guide.

Wonderful city hotel”

I really enjoyed staying at the Mercure Siam, I appreciated being away from the hustle and bustle of the markets in bangkok. Getting everywhere was easy as the BTS station being right out the front of the hotel. There is a 7/11 to the left of the hotel and 2 blocks away the Tesco supermarket. Siam shopping complex is just one BTS stop away for a cost of 25Baht (80cents). I highly recommend the hotel if you don't want to be exhausted every time you leave your hotel. The pool area is lovely a great way to forget you are in a busy city. The restaurant has banquets for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and you can order from a menu. The meals are huge. Happy hour is 5pm- 8pm, half price cocktails so 99Baht is great value and the drinks are amazing. I really enjoyed staying here and would definitely stay again.

Lovely location”

I have stayed at Ibis Siam previously and I have wanted to stay at Mercure to see what is the difference. For the price difference, I will go to Mercure as I find the rooms to be better furnished and sound proofed. I also used the pool where my kids had fun. Breakfast was alright, however, be prepared to wait if you go later around 9plus to 10 as when we finished our breakfast, we can see a queue of more than 8. Stay here if you like the location of BTS, local food stalls outside the hotel and shopping centres within 5mins walk, ie MBK, Siam Discovery Centre.
