I drive to Chumphon for a rest. The night market is much worse than Huahin's. We can walk to night market from hotel. The swimming pool is good for kids and the breakfast is well prepared. I don't like Chumphon, but the stay in this hotel make me feel happy and have a good memory.

Overall, nothing to complain. A very pleasant stay indeed. We were granted early check in without any fees at 8.30am thai time. Mins of walking distance to the centre. No breakfast provided as stated but the coffee and hot chocolate provided (6am-11am) is a kind gesture that the hotel gives. However, the room that we stayed had no mirror. A bit of inconvenience to my ...

Perfect. The girl who welcomed us was very Nice and helpful. The day we left the mother of the owner (?) gave us Some rambutan and fingerfood for the kids for the boat trip. In my opinion is the location underrated and offers beach and location more possibilities. Unfortunately chumphon is for many travellers a short pass through.

I wish we had a reason to go back to Chumphon just so we could stay here again. From check in to check out it was superb. Loved our room, our view and most of all the lovely couple and their son that run the resort. Breakfast was lovely and fresh but you must have a dinner here - the best, fresh wonderful food. Cannot recommend Magic House Resort enough

We only stayed for one night as we were moving onto the island the next day. It was mainly used to catch up on sleep. We got the night bus to Chumphon so we arrived at around 5:30am but the hotel staff were great. They got us checked in as soon as possible around 6am and offered us tea, coffee and biscuits. The room was clean and aircon worked well. Pretty basic but pe...

Chumphon is very much a 'pass through' town for tourists who are passing through for the ferry port to and from the three islands of Koh Toa, Koh Phangyan and Koh Samui. For this reason, there isn't much in the way of attractions for visitors of very interesting or luxurious places to stay. We were looking for the same as most people passing through Chumpon...a cheap a...

What a surprise treat this place was. Way better than expected. It’s a little way out of Chumphon town in the jungle with a river running passed the rear of the bungalows. A little far from Chumphon town - not walking distance. Couldn't get a ride to town so decided to walk. Told it was 3 kms but at least that to the first major road. We had a very good experience. When you come from Koh Tao by ferry, the pier of Chumpon is a half hour drive to the Chumpon trainstation (included free in the price always). Very nice and quiet place. The owner and his family did everything to make the guest happy. They sorted out my troubles with a boat ticket. This hotel is quite new and clean located at the center of Chumphon city not so far from the main road. Room is quite big and equipped with all necessary things. Wifi is also good. Breakfast is a little simple but not too bad. Price is also reasonable.

The hostess is very welcoming & looks after her guests impeccably. Located close to the main highway, made this hotel excellent for what we needed, which was a bed for the night without traveling too far off the main road. Quality and price are matched accordingly, so isn't somewhere that i would stay for anything other than tiredness from driving.

We've phoned the hotel for our late arrival and the receptionist was greeting us with a warm and friendly welcome. The room is quiet and equipped with working air-con, the bed is big very comfortable, the shower has warm water and good strength of water. The breakfast is served by the employees.
