Where to stay in Mueang Phang Nga
Mueang Phang Nga hotels & accommodations

About staff: I Made a mistake And reserved wrong date. When we came to the hotel (Day later after my paid reservation), they asked us to pay for the room again (eventhougt they had free rooms). Finally we had to pay 400 Bath more, so that was not so bad. I know I Made a mistake, but I would expect they Just could Change my reservation for no more money. About the stay...

For 600 Baht you get a really clean AC room, the view of the mountain is nice but you need to ignore the tons of trash in the backyard which is sadly usual in Thailand. We stayed only one night and ask for a taxi to catch the boat to Koh yao noi. There was no taxi available so they drove us to the pier in their private car to make it in time. Really nice!!

The WOW factor was the first thing we got upon our arrival at the Resort. It is located in the grounds of Katathong Golf Club. The Resort was six star with a three star price, maybe as there were not many people booked in. We were greeted by Tony the Resident Manager who made our check in very easy. Tony was full of information about the Resort and what to see in the a...

Cheap and cheerful, but don't expect too much in the way of entertainment or choice of restaurants. A good way to visit the Phang Nga national park area, as there are plenty of private ferry boat operators and fishermen in the area. The swimming pool is out of service, but the adjacent beach is adequate, although it could use a clean up. Local people are very capable o...

We had a pleasant stay at Thaweesuk. Dang the Manager was superb and his recommendations really enlightened our stay at Phang Nga. The Hotel is within walking distance to Phang Nga morning market (please try the local delicacies there, cheap & delicious), amenities (convenience stores, pharmacy, banks, forex service, eateries, fast food - KFC & supermarkets). Phang Nga...

Take the room upstairs. Great view and huge size. Room is good enough for 2 stars guesthouse but very clean. Absolute best part of our stay is thanks to owner. He guided us for the day trip to phang nga islands trip. As photographer enthusiast like me, we went together to see sunrise in fishermen village. Then we did the classic day trip with all normal destinatio...

Had a perfect stay at Tambai resort The rooms are clean, comfortable and bright Located near Phang Nga centre in a quiet street, easy access to the Ao Phang Nga tours The staff is very helpful and professional. We arrived late and they took care of everything I highly recommend this place

It is 4 km out of town and isolated with pleasant surrounding. Nice outlook from balcony with trees and shrubs. No food facilities nearby so you must take some or rely on room service which is not always available Have stayed there several times and will remain my Phang nga hotel of choice

The resort is located 8km outside Phang Nga at a small village with no facilities, no restaurant and nothing to do. There is no easy way to get to town from here. Rooms are nice, although a bit run down. The high rating especially for the location of this place seems to point to massive manipulation of guest feedback.

Great value for the money. Comfortable beds, excellent location (beside a night market and close to the falls) tons of channels on the TV if you are just clicking away before bed. Love the nice light breakfast with toast and mangosteen! Staff were very polite and helpful. The motorcycle rental on site was a definite bonus. Downside is there is no water heater for the s...

The location is to secluded and there are no taxis. Only stay here if you are doing the James Bond island tour ( do not get it from mr.kean at the bus stop! He will promise the world but won't deliver). You are better off staying in the main town of Phang Nga as there are at least a couple of good bars and places to eat, as well as the brilliant monk cave temple. Final...

We stayed in Phang Nga because we wanted to do the Phang Nga bay tour. It cost us 1100 bath/person for full day tour after a bit of negotiation ( kayak tour not included). We did not enjoy the tour in our opinion it’s a waste of time, we would not recommend. But the hostel was great and I would definitely stay there again, a lot of cheap places to eat there, not many t...

There was a big bed, a tv with usb,... hotel is located in center of phang nga but you need to take a taxi or a moped to go visiting waterfalls our temples. This hotel diserves a 8/10. We had a wonderful stay of three nights there. The owners Nui and Gerard really made us feel like home, demonstrating so much helpfulness, hospitality and kindness. Gerard even brought us personally to town, arranged a massage appointment for both of us, took care of the registration-on his personal time....he really goes the extra mile for his guests and hence leaves ...
