Mueang Surin hotels & places to stay

I was there on Saturday night around 9pm and I’ve booked for 2adults as emergency booking but I have one 10 yrs old with me it’s very kind of them it charged us only 100 bath and also brought the blanket and pillow and price was including breakfast too so lovely. For the room is big, clean, huge bathroom and secure. Staffs are very lovely, friendly and professional. Value for money I would high recommended for you

The hotel itself is great, the pool is cool, inviting and scrupulously clean (as is the whole hotel). The location is far enough from any noise that the area is completely quiet at night but a short walk to town for all that Surin has to offer, you are better with transport though and ample parking is available with 24 hour security. But the best part of the hotel without a question of a doubt is the staff, they are brilliant, no request was too small, or too big they handled all our needs perfectly. If you come to Surin and don't stay here the loss is yours.

I have been going to Surin for a couple of years and always stay near the bus station. I don't drive in Surin and it limits your search for hotels. I decided to brave a car rental and found Slive on Agoda. It is a short drive from central downtown Surin. This a beautiful modern clean well kept hotel. There is no dirt or smell or darkness to this hotel. Everything attached to the walls is actually attached to the walls. No mold or water build up in the bathroom. It actually drains down the drain. Every corner of this hotel is so clean. The food for breakfast was fresh and prepared with care. You can tell by the flavor. I will never stay anywhere else on my visits to Surin and you shouldn't either. I highly recommend this hotel. The staff is great. All the staff in every part of the daily operations. Great location. Lots food and places to eat. Walking is safe and encouraged. Family friendly area. Large hospital across the street. Traffic is heavy but ok.

I didn't know Hop-Inn was a chain, but I'm sure glad I came across them as the experience was excellent. The hotel in Surin is right next to the ancient Maneerote Hotel. The latter is in quite run-down appearance, so this only makes the Hop-Inn Hotel stand out in more impressive light. A big, bright blue building and it's huge car park space are what you see first. The reception is a small area with a keypad access door for guests. The reception stocks some snacks and drinks too. If I remember correctly the staff member spoke English to me, but she was always smiling each time I entered and exited the building. The hotel is extremely new; practically the first person to stay in my room. I didn't see, nor hear any other guests during my 3 night stay, but the car park was always full by evening. The 3rd floor rooms were actually still having electrical/masonry work done to them, but I never heard any workmen during my stay. The room itself is well presented, very bright and spacious. The bed was huge, very comfortable and relaxing. The rooms all have a large window infront of your desked tabletop. There is a very modern tv with usb and hdmi inputs available. A number of lights are installed in the room to help determine your mood. The bathroom is spacious with a good power shower and built-in dispensers with shampoo and soap. Air con in the room is excellent, and there is another door which gives access to a very small 'balcony' area. Housekeeping were excellent each day, prompt with tidying the rooms and leaving 2 bottles of water for you each day. 100% I'll be back, but in a quiet town like Surin I wonder how they would ever envisage having even.a 50% capacity booking. Hopefully, they'll let out short-term contract rooms.

This is a really nice hotel. My girlfriend and I had a really enjoyable stay here. Although they speak limited English, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and always tried their best to assist whenever we had questions. Thankfully I speak a little bit of Thai which helped with communication. The room was big and had sufficient facilities. The laundry service was affordable and timely too. The view from the balcony was nice and full of greenery. The hotel restaurant served good food and coffee at an affordable price. There was hot shower which was great since it was raining most of the time I was there. Surin is a wonderful place and our stay at Maneerote Hotel was a memorable one for my girlfriend and me. Will definitely consider staying here again.

We were looking for a good cheap hotel for our 4 night stopover in Surin to see the Elephant Festival. We considered others, but kept on coming back to this hotel, the lack of meals at the hotel is not a problem, as for a westerner, there are excellent meals available at the 214 Diner, 200 meters from the entrance to Robinsons. The hotel is great, looks new, but is in fact 3 years old, well looked after, and everything was perfectly clean and worked. More than enough power points to charge the phones etc, staff do speak limited english, but owners daughter speaks great english. I have no hesitation in recommending, if I visit Surin again, I would definitely stay here.

No accommodation was available in Buriram for MotoGP 2018, so we ended up staying here. It has many rooms, but who knows why it was built where it is! I think we got the last available scooter in Surin, so we were able to get to the track ok (about 50km away). We had a VIP room, it's a good size and has a fridge, a carport, is spotlessly clean, but has no other amenities (kettle, tea/coffee etc). We travel with our own immersion heater, coffee cups, plastic cutlery etc. I don't think the budget rooms have a fridge. There is a shop on site which sells and reheats food; also sells alcohol and bits and pieces. We ended up staying an extra day (5 instead of 4) as all flights were booked out of Buriram. The main thing to watch is that the directions shown for "Phaetra Resort" on Agoda are not accurate. Use Google Maps to select PETRA RESORT! That will get you there.

It is easy to find the hotel there is a big sign on the road directing you down the soi.Carpark is underneath so motorbikes and cars are not subject to weather conditions.Key card lock on door to hotel and nice clean stairs and corridor.The rooms are very large and clean.The bed was a kingsize and very soft.The air conditioner worked well and there were 200 stations on the cable TV but because Surin is very country most of the stations were Thai and to be honest with you I didn't have time or the inclination to sit there and work out which language the stations were in English.Too much to see around town.There is a 7/11 and mini mart around the corner and an Aussie restaurant on the other side of the main road and down a bit.The bus station,bars and restaurant were all in walking distance.The Isaan club was also very lively and enjoyable.Speed disco is just around the corner if thats your thing or if you want to slow it down The Thongtarin Hotel has a very nice beer garden,live soft music and karaoke if you want and very nice and reasonably priced international and Thai food.

I visited Surin with my partner when we were on our way from Pak Chong to Cambodia. We decided to stay one night there since it was too late to get us to the border before night. The room was clean and comfortable, staff spoke some basic English. Room had clear and comfortable bateriom and balcony. We spend an evening in the neighborhood, has really great massage place just around the corner and also we highly recommend to visit the Hippie bar at the same street - lovely people, friendly owner and live music.

My partner and I headed to Surin for the Elephant Roundup. We found our hotel conveniently nestled within the area close to local food, bus terminals and access to the stadium. Staff were friendly and did all they could to help. It was our first time in Surin so the advice and suggestions from the staff were greatly appreciated. Only downside was that we had trouble accessing wifi within our room. Good value for money overall nonetheless. We will be staying here again the next time we're in Surin.

we needed to spend several days in the surin-buri ram area. we picked the hotel by the rior reviews and selected a deluxe room over superior for the few baht more. it was a very good choice. we had one small issue at the beginning with wifi, not an adequate signal. so within 5 minutes the technicians came and installed another wireless port in the building and all was solved. there were many chairs and desk space for on to use. we were in a very quiet part of the arean even though we were on rt 214 bypass. getting to/from surin was no problem and enjoyed what the city had to offer, bowling! we ordered american breakfasts the 1st day and just eggs, toast, and coffee the 2nd.

We were in Surin for the annual Elephant Festival, the Suanpa resort is ideally located for the festival attractions and within easy reach of the town centre. The resort is very large and whilst not modern the rooms are spacious and clean they even have bath tubs!!! The restaurant is very popular and is crowded every night with locals and tourists the food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. Will certainly be back next year.

It's really within walking distance of everything at night just a short walk and your in the night market yet it's a very quiet secure island of tranquillity, good size rooms air shower and fridge all work. There's washing machines situated at the back of the hotel 30 baht a wash, hand wash spin dry no charge a must if you have been travelling. No restaurant on site but market and restaurant all next to you again I have to say I felt safe and secure at this hotel. And will try to book again if in Surin it was fully booked on our visit.
