Best Hotels near the Beach in Chaweng

"This is a fantastic hotel in a great location North of Chaweng beach. It is easily a 15 minute walk along Chaweng beach into the hectic nightlife of Chaweng. However, the hotel is in a much quieter part and is a welcome oasis of calm. We stayed in the main building which has the superior rooms. They are spotless and more private. If u have mobility issues or young kids/prams then the garden bungalows may suit you more but are less private. The breakfast was excellent and lots of choice for everyone. The staff are excellent and friendly with everyone understanding any requests you may have. I really can't fault this hotel and I got a good deal through Agoda. Everything I booked was honoured. No hassles."

"Among all the hotels i have stayed, SALA Chaweng is the best of the best. With great hospitality and very good view, you will experience unforgettable stay in this hotel. Starts upon check in, the staffs already impressed you with special offers for the soap, pillows. Everything will be prepared to suit you. I booked for partial sea view room and it has great view. The huge window can be opened so you can enjoy breeze while sleeping. The breakfast offers miscellaneous foods and drink and you can order their special menu. Definitely will come back to this hotel again "

"just stayed at the chaweng regent in 2 spa villa rooms. we had booked 2 premier rooms but were pleasantly surprised when on reaching the hotel, we were informed that we had been upgraded. the rooms were large & very well maintained. the full sized bathroom had an excellent shower area & a jacuzzi that was open to the sky. breakfast at the chom talay restaurant was amongst the best i have ever had! huge spread with a great mix of continental & asian foods. although there are 2 pools - the garden pool & the beach pool, we only ended up using the latter. its beachfront location was superb & the water was always at a very comfortable temperature. the garden pool, with a sunken bar, was lovely as well. the beach in front of the hotel is great - clean white sand & clear water! the hotel grounds are lovely & beautifully maintained. dark wood boardwalks winding through lush greenery create a very calming effect. all house-keeping & room-service calls were attended to promptly & the staff were always smiling & cooperative. the airport pick-up & drop was also handled very well by the hotel. the shops, restaurants & massage parlours of chaweng are at the hotels doorstep, & in the 5 days we spent in samui, we were only able to try out a fraction of the restaurants in the vicinity. an excellent 7/11 is located diagonally opposite the hotel & is ideal for meeting one's daily provisional requirements.the only small niggle at the hotel was that the sliding bathroom doors of both our rooms were slightly misaligned & as a result it was difficult to lock them. despite mentioning this to reception a couple of times, it wasn't sorted. but it's quite understandable as the doors would probably have to be taken down & re-aligned & this would obviously be a time consuming affair. all in all though, a lovely experience! "Great hotel, we stayed at Montien 4 times and always had good experience. Good for groups/families, they have a wide range of rooms from budget to pool villa or apartment style with kitchenette. Free baby cot provided, ask in advance to book all your rooms close to each other, they also do pick up/drop off to airport by email booking. Food & drink prices at hotel restaurant are very reasonable unlike most other hotels in Chaweng. Walk to everything incl Tops supermarket, Festival shopping centre, Coffee Club, 711. No waves at the beach, no noisy jets skis around, kids friendly. Lots of young people too staying at the new building."

"OUR STAY AT THE BRIZA BEACH RESORT WAS GREAT. THE ROOMS ARE VERY SPACIOUS, MOSTLY OUTSIDE BUT COVERED. OPEN AIR PLUNGE POOL IS GREAT. BED WAS COMFORTABLE AND FACILITIES WERE EXCELLENT. VERY CLEAN AND VERY TIDY. BATHROOM WAS OUTDOOR WHICH WAS LOVELY. THE PROXIMITY TO THE BEACH WAS GREAT AND ALSO IT IS THE QUIETER END OF THE BEACH SO YOU DONT GET AS MUCH NOISE AS YOU WOULD IN CHAWENG ITSELF. THOUGH IT IS ONLY A 15MINUTE WALK TO CENTRE OF CHAWENG. HOTEL STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. FOOD AT THE RESTAURANT WAS GOOD AND YOU CAN EAT ON THE BEACH IN THE EVENINGS. BREAKFAST WAS ALSO VERY NICE AS A LA CARTE. THE RESORT ITSELF WAS VERY QUIET ALLOWING IT TO BE VERY RELAXING. IT IS MAINLY AIMED AT COUPLES. OVERALL IT WAS GREAT AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT"

"Aside from being under the flight path - which I didn't much notice anyway - this hotel has all you could want from a Chaweng hotel; it's modern, and clean, has a good breakfast buffet and is centrally located, close to numerous restaurants and bars. The pool is good, there's pretty easy beach access through the resort over the road and the rooms are a decent size at a good price"

"This hotel was build in 2019 so BRAND NEW. If you’re booking around March you can expect brand new furniture, A/C, cabinets and towels. Huge plus. Also, Lub D is in the purrrfect location on the beach (3 min walk to ArkBar if you brought your party pants) and also right in the best part of Chaweng. Only downside, from my room at least, you can hear some music from across he street during the night. "

"Indeed a very pleasurable stay. Location of the hotel is exactly where you want to be staying in Chaweng beach. I believe Chaweng is one of the best beach to stay after visiting nearby beach. The soft sand and water is different to other beaches in Samui. Hotel's layout is very nice, simple yet sophisticated. Room is a bit small but fits my stay with no problem. All amenities are there, aircon works very well and there is an added fan in room when you simply want the breeze. Bed is supersoft, too soft for my taste including the soft pillow. If I could able to ask for pillow preference that would be very nice. TV have good channels. The only complain in room is probably the water pressure and the annoying tub like floor in the shower. A simple ceramic would do nicely why the stupid tub thing I will never understand. Cracking noise every step I take. Breakfast was great. Very nice selections every day. And the pan cake machine is very cool. There are automatic espresso machines for your own taste (cappuccino, latte, etc). Other hotels usually only serves brew coffee. As a coffee aficionados I always thought this is nice. Though better coffee been would be nice. Breakfast opens until 11 so yoi dont have to get up early just for breakfast, how considerate. Pool and beach area is well accommodating with ample beach chairs. Location of hotel is right in the middle of Chaweng. So you wouldn't miss anything. Great stay. "

"First, the hotel location was the key motivation to us for selecting this hotel. The hotel was located at the Chaweng business district. Central Festival Mall was just opposite the hotel. Another good thing was the hotel layout well isolated the crowd and traffic. You can't really feel the disturbance for your getaway plan. Convenience store, food, shopping and travel agency for day trip were just around the corner. We actually spending two days discovering the small alley or hidden shops. The staff were very polite, helpful and able to communicate in English. Room was clean and comfortable. Just the wiring of TV might be small element can be improved. The cafe had great food, and awesome scenery. Every morning, we enjoy breakfast with sitting side by side and enjoying Chaweng sunrise. We spent a lot of time at swimming pool too. Overall, we had a very wonderful getaway here and we like to come again."

"Arrived late at night to the Chaweng garden resort from bangkok only a short tuck tuck ride away 10-15mins max. When we first pulled up outside the hotel the entrance down a beach like path was off the main road in the Chaweng area and we thought oh dear what have booked into but to our surprise and good one at that it led to a wonderful hotel with a combination of garden bungalows and garden view rooms we had the latter. Friendly concierge staff and bell boys very attentive always smiling and happy to help. We got into our room to find a spacious deluxe room with huge bed and lovely fresh smelling line sheets large shower and bathroom with all the amenities you need. Beach towels fresh everyday and re stocked fridge of bottled water was great. The breakfast was great a mixture of both traditional Thai and continental breakfast served from 6:30-10:30 was nice and fresh, and the beach which was fantastic and warm crystal waters was great. You could eat well at the hotel and on the beach also reasonably priced and very tasty. From the hotel you could either walk out onto the street and go to the bars and restaurants or onto the beach and walk along to a lively beach bar called ARK bar, which served food until 11pm and drinks til 1am laid on loungers with cushions and tables really nice way to end the evening if you didn't want all the hustle and bustle of the main bars and clubs. Great hotel and would stay here again. Very much recommend this hotel to someone else.y"
