Great service”

One of the most enjoyable stays I have had in my dozens and dozens of trips to Thailand. When I arrived at Nora Beach Resort and Spa one of the soles on my shoes parted company with the rest of my shoe whilst getting out of the taxi, I told the conceirge not to worry as I had other shoes in my bag, however by the time I had finished filling in my registration papers the concierge was at my side with a pot of rubber glue insisting he repair the shoe for me. This type of service continued right up to after I had checked out with one of the staff rushing over to me before I left apologising that they had only just noticed it was my birthday and giving me a small gift. I booked a pool villa which was spacious and very private, if I had booked an oceanfront pool villa the views would have been better but I would have lost my privacy. The only negative I could find was that the villa was starting to show signs of its age although it was not a major problem. The pool temperature was great and the overall appearance of the resort was good. Norar's is a little way out of Chaweng which certainly offers peace and tranquility and the 20 minute walk into the city was not a big problem although Tuk Tuks are certainly plentiful enough and very cheap if you are eeling too lazy to walk I certainly look forward to returning to Nora Beach Resort and Spa on my next trip to Koh Samui

Incredible accomodation, facilities and food at the resort was particularly a high standard”

Nora beach resort is beautiful resort if you are looking for a place where you can stay close to Chaweng but also not have to leave the resort if you don’t want to. With a stunning beach on its doorstep and a pool bar that leads out to the beach you have both very available to you. The Thai food and cocktails at the restaurant are of a very high standard, slightly pricer than what you get in Chaweng but yum!!! Rooms were big and clean. Location is only a 7 min shuttle which the hotel offers or you can hire a scooter from across the road for your stay which we did which made time on the island more fun and easier. This accomodation definitely made our trip to Koh Samui and will be back!

Lovely hotel & good location”

Nora Beach resort is located away from the hustle & bustle of Chaweng Beach. The room was a very good size and let a lot of light in thorugh the bathroom although the actual room was a bit dark. We loved our garden facing room which had a pond filled with a variety of fish. However we could not sit out at night because of the mosquitos that were attracted by the water. Another downside to the room was lack of storage.Unfortunately I had to live more or less out of my suitcase because there are no drawers and very little hanging space. The location of Nora Beach is great and just a short drive from the airport. The other advantage is that it is a short drive to Chaweng centre and only costs 200 Bahts or you can get the free shuttle service provided by the hotel. Nice beach. Ok slightly rocky but this did not spoil our stay and I would much prefer a few pebbles than the crowds of Chaweng Staff were excellent and very friendly. We arrived late evening so went to dinner quite late but the staff made a lot of effort to ensure that we had a decent meal. Breakfast has great choice of pastries, fruits, english breakast and Thai cuisine. My only complaints would be the lack of lighting in the room and the stagnant water outside which attracted mosquitos which meant keeping the patio doors closed at all times. Otherwise a brilliant stay. Would go back.

Best Service Ever”

we were impressed form the moment we landed at samui airport. the nora beach resort and spa had arranged transport that was efficient and friendly. our hotel check in was a relaxed and friendly occasion. the hotel facilities are superb. the location is ideal - close but not too close to chaweng beach bustle. the pre arranged xmas and new year parties were magnificent. but what impressed us most were the service received from the staff. friendly and efficient. magnificent!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our few days stay at Nora Beach resort. The ocean-side restaurant offered a fantastic view and the morning breeze made the breakfast buffet outdoors just terrific. Dinner menu was also wonderful and great prices! A little bit up the road from the main shopping area but the shuttle bus to shopping/dining areas is fast and free at certain times of day and inexpensive the rest of the time (very convenient, too). Maybe just the time of year but not many kids. A few honeymooners but generally, patrons seemed to be mostly middle-aged. Some good looking facilities we didn't really investigate were the spa, gym and banquet room. I definitely recommend Nora Beach Resort for a relaxing, affordable get-away.

Exceptional”

I've just returned from ten nights at Nora Beach Resort & Spa. It was one of the best places I have ever stayed.There was a real sense of tranquillity and calm, and the privacy was wonderful. I cannot say enough nice things about the staff; they were wonderfully polite and helpful. All in all, a magical experience. If you are thinking of visiting Koh Samui, stay here!!!

Wedding venue at a lovely resort.”

Nora Beach Resort has a beautiful large pool with a pool bar that serves brilliant cocktails. The beach is not perfect, the water is quite warm as it is very shallow & there are rocks but it is quiet. We walked along the beach to Chaweng each day & found it relaxing compared to walking in via the road. The staff at Nora Beach were so helpful & friendly - truly an asset. There is a large range of rooms/villas - i had a seaview room which i loved but the villas had gorgeous bathrooms. We were there as a family group for a wedding at the resort - the ceremony was beautiful, brief & extremely well organised.

Wonderful Place”

We had a wonderful weeks stay at ora Beach, we had a pool villa which was one of the most spacious pool villas we have stayed in on Koh Samui. The hotel is absolutely spotless and our villa was immaculately cleaned every day. The garden setting is beautifully maintained and so lush. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice and good quality food. We stay on Koh Samui every year but this was our first trip to Nora Beach and I could not find a single fault with anything. Would highly recommend it to all our fri new looking for a peaceful getaway. Thank you to the staff for their wonderful service.

Loved this hotel”

Nora Beach was far enough out of the main area of Chaweng to be peaceful but still only half an hour’s walk along the beach or a quick songthaew (tuk tuk) ride (50 baht per person) to get to the action. There was a convenience store and restaurants/chemist and atm within about five minutes walk from the hotel. The pool was lovely, clean, and there was a great atmosphere. Bao and the other pool guys were friendly and fabulous, as were all the staff we encountered, from our initial checkin with Ai (hope I spelt that properly) right down to the lovely trainees in the restaurant who learned very fast what our room number and coffee preferences were! We stayed in a Nora Villa which was roomy and tranquil. We had one or two minor issues with facilities but these were attended to really quickly by the maintenance staff.One thing I would point out is that there is quite a slope from the pool area up to the rooms. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Nora again, and certainly intend to return.

Nora Beach Resort & Spa”

Nora beach resort and spa is the best value for money. I have stayed here twice now and will return in the future, it has a confortable feeling and has everything, the private back beach is great, same with the pool and restruant. The staff are very friendy and always smiling and saying hello as you walk past. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for nice, relaxing place to stay while in ko samui.

Nora beach resort”

It's was our seconed time in the Nora beach resort and this time we were with a 2 years old baby. The location, in our opinion is excellent because it has a nice queit beach far away from the noise of Chaweng center, but still a walking distance (about 20 minutes) and there's a hotel shuttle. The staff is very friendly, the food is good and the service was excellent. We will definitely return to this resort for the third time...

Nice Hotel by the Beach”

Very nice hotel situated in well maintained tropical grounds by the beach. Stayed in a villa with small private pool and beach front view. Better quality of beach front compared to other hotels in the area. Around 15 minutes walk to the centre of Chaweng town, but there is a Hotel shuttle service, tuk tuks and taxis to get there. Cheapest way to get around the Island is to hire a scooter. Only 10 minutes drive from the airport and Baht 500 for a hotel van to take our party of 6 there. Good selection for breakfast in a restaurant area with sea and pool view. Pool was a bit crowded and Wifi unstable in the room, but apart from that, all good during our stay at Nora Beach Hotel.

Beautiful resort with comfortable spacious rooms.”

I visited the resort with a group of 11 friends, staying in Superior Rooms. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The pool and beach area is beautiful with adequate sun beds (even with the resort at full capacity). It was approximately a 20 minute walk or 5 minute tuk tuk ride into the centre of Chaweng where there were numerous restaurants and plenty of shopping opportunities. The buffet breakfast was plentiful, with a huge variety, and the food was consistently amazing. Pool bar and restaurant prices were quite steep but it was easy enough to walk down the street to the convenience store to stock up on soft drinks and alcohol if need be. The resort gym was small but well equipped and for the most part you weren't having to share it with many other guests. The resort is a little quiet and removed from the action for a group of 25 year olds but we still had a great time after a week of partying in Koh Phangan. Very relaxing and I would highly recommend it if rest and relaxation are what you are looking for.

Relaxing villa”

We enjoyed our stay at Nora Beach resort. It was the nice relaxing break we needed. Nothing better than relaxing by the pool and looking at the ocean views. The resort is a bit of a way from Chaweng beach, but the resort offers free shuttle service which was very handy. The villa had everything we needed for our short stay, everything was well maintained and tidy.

Great location and service”

The resort is built on a slope that runs down to a quiet beach front. At the top is the reception area & top bar and at the bottom of the hill is the resort spa, restaurant and bar. It is not a steep walk to travel from pool to reception, however on a hot day you would have a sweat up by the time you get to the top. Reception will send a buggy to pick you up if you have trouble making it up to the top. The Ocean Villa's are positioned clumps of two's down through the middle of grounds. most have a garden view, with some of the lower ones providing some sea views. There appeared to be an interconnecting door between our Villa and the one beside it. The rooms feature a comfy bed, sitting desk and TV in the bedroom and a seperate room with large bath, shower and cupboards. An outside shower is also situated in the entry courtyard. All the staff were extremely polite & happy and we were really made to feel welcome. The hotel does charge a 10% service charge and 7% tax on top of any internal charges so be careful and confirm the total price before ordering. Breakfast was included in our package and it was very good, with a great selection of cold and hot dishes + eggs cooked to order. We found drinks at the pool bar to be too expensive, we expect to pay a little more than a normal bar in Chewang, but we thought their charges were too high and refrained from drinking at the hotel bars. There are several handy marts a short distance from the entry where you could buy drinks for a fraction of the price charged by the hotel. Overall we were very impressed by the Nora Beach, it appears to be well run, well staffed and in a great location. We are planning to return, however we will stay in a pool villa next time.

A wonderful stay in Nora Beach Resort and Spa”

Nora beach resort and spa is a very nice place to have a leisure holiday. The hotel environment is very good and comfortable and the rooms is clean and well maintained. The service is also good and I do impressed by their compliment of a small birthday gift. It's a place that I will go back when I have my holiday in Samui again.

Relaxing 10 Days”

Just had a very relaxing 10 day stay at Nora Beach Resort & Spa. The facility is well established with a clean amenities and professional, friendly staff. The boys around the pool are good fun (Lor, Toto,Ter, & Aow) and keep you entertained. The staff that man the Dining Area and the Lobby Reception are also excellent. We will stay again. Nora Beach Resort-stay in heaven”

To spend my second stay at Samui I chose Nora Beach resort based on all good reviews.I was not dissappointed.Location is awesome if you hire out your own transport(car or bike), may be not so good for tuk-tuk lovers.Beach is not the best for adults( too shallow), but 100% joy for kids owners. Pool Villa is a gem of heaven.You slide your window open and here is lighten up pool right underneath it. We spent a lot beautifull morning and evenings by that pool. There are downsides to the place such as breakfast, water in the shower and no wi-fi, but its beareable when you stay there.

Nice hotel & great wedding service”

the rooms were always clean and i couldn´t find any bugs. the pool area is a little bit old fashioned but the beach is very nice and clean. prices at the poolbar are too expensive. there is no direct access to the chaweng beach but if you like it quiet this hotel is perfect for you. the walk to the city takes only 15-20 minutes and taxis are very cheap. you don´t here the planes landing which was one of my fears. the gym looks like a prison - very dark. i didn´t even go inside. the staff at the nora beach resort is very friendly & helpful. we´ve got married in the resort and it was perfect. our wedding planner michelle was really nice and helped us to make the day wonderful. she even organized a "last-minute-wedding-dress". the staff joined the wedding because we came alone and they organized every detail perfectly.

A Pleasant Stay”

Nora Beach Resort is located approx. 10 mins (by taxi)away from town and 5 mins from airport. Quiet and relaxing, and the beach is peaceful and nice unlike resorts at town itself which the bars, shops and traffic contributes lots of noise. The superior room is comfortable, but without the black ants would have been even more comfortable. Although they're harmless, but sharing a room with them was kinda distracting. Staffs were friendly and helpful.
