Nice rooms with great view”

First of all, in Chiangkhan you can have a broad selection of guesthouses in romantic wooden houses with Mekong view for little money. However, personally I try to avoid mosquitos and other insects as much as possible so we chose one of the few 'real' hotels, even though it is a little bit far away from the main street and pricier as well. Because in Chiangkhan everything happens at night (between 5pm and 9pm, after that this charming little city is dead again) we didn't mind to walk 10minutes to the main street. If you don't like to walk you can rent bikes for 50thb/day. The hotel also the city is very popular for Thai tourists. Breakfast is Thai breakfast (fried pastry with sweet condensed milk or rice soup, instant coffee), which we found a little bit disappointing for the price. Overall the rooms have a very sweet design, they have a beautiful terrace to relax and everything is super clean and new and if you are lucky, you have Mekong view as well. However, personally, I would not go there again because for the money you can get a nicer hostel more central (but then I would try the 'walk in' option),..

location is great”

Breakfast is nice, not much choice but okay. Room is quite same as private room in hostel equiped with hair dryer,shampoo,soap,fridge,air-con,tv,towel,hanger. Location near walking street but far enough that you will not hear the loud voice from market. It has parking space in front of hotel. If parking space is full ask hotel staff, they will bring you to nearby parking space. Since Chiank Khan has not much hotel, so price is bit high comparing to hotel in Leoi city center.

Nice riverside Bountique hotel”

It is quite a new hotel in the area. It is right beside the Mekong River which is excellent for seeing the sunset. It is located at the start of the walking Street which slightly far from the 7-11. The staff 's english is limited but they are full of smile and very nice. The car park may be limited but not a big deal as you can park soemwhere nearby. The room is nice and new. Value for its price. Strongly recommended.

good mattress and great location”

It was generally nice stay. The hotel is located in the end of the busy city center and has easy access to main attraction (town is very cute). Room is clean and have minimum but good enough breakfast. Only "?!" thing is, for the first night we came back, the reception is already closed around 10:15 pm and nobody is around. How could we get our keys? There is no remarks or warning about the curfew, and it took sometimes for us to look for someone who gave us our keys. The town is still on, so wondering if we came hotel later, then should we sleep outside???? It was generally a good stay, but it seems there is more hotels in the town which has better value for money.

Quiet and relaxing place by the Mekong”

The hotel is located a little distance from the town center, but great if one likes to be in a quieter place. Very quiet and relaxing location. Enjoy the patio that overlooks the Mekong. The bed is very comfortable. One suggestion is to provide a bedside table.

Perfect Location ”

On arrival I had a little problem with my booking due to my own fault getting my dates confused ! The staff at the hotel were very helpful, they were extremely welcoming, lovely people. Our stay was great, breakfast was good with a choice of fresh fruits, fried eggs, omelettes, breads and porridge. The beds were very comfy, rooms had beautiful river views, I Iook forward to my stay again in the future, Chaing Khan is one of the most tranquil laid back Thai towns I have ever visited. Loei is wonderful for escaping to the countryside ;)

Good Location and natural ambience”

The hotel is next to Khong river. There are only 4 rooms with balcony and river view. Nonetheless, some of the room also have chance to sneak peak on Khong river and there is a plenty common space to hang around and feel river breeze too

Staffs are so friendly and helpful”

Due to my flight had been rescheduled, I can only spend my times in this lovely hotel for 8 hrs. All staffs here are so friendly, helpful and make my stay the most enjoyable moment even at the last minute.

New and Relaxing hotel”

Enjoyed my stay here, especially during breakfast time eating hot food in the cold with river view. Highly recommend this hotel if you prefer peace, with trade off with longer walk to night market

The Hotel was ”

One thing I do when I travel is I always try and book a hotel with a good breakfast, having said that the breakfast that was part of the package was not what i consider a good breakfast, it was tea or coffee with toast and you could order eggs if you liked and a Thai soup that's it no lunch or dinner could be ordered and on room service to speak of. Enough of the Breakfast, the hotel was close to the night market and it was right on the river and the room we had when you open the curtains you could lie in bed and look over the Mekong river. You could hire bikes to get around if you choose to.

Good location but small room”

Good location with free parking spaces. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom are small. Walkable distance to Chiang Khan Walking Street. Nice scenery beside river. Breakfast not much choice, only bread and porridge. Slightly overprice

The joy of genuine Thai hospitality”

My stay was delightful thanks to the wonderfully friendly, courteous and helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was simple but excellent, the location was outstanding. My only suggestion for improvement would be access to a personal laundry service.

Excellent view (Please selecting building the confront with the river), there is a small local bar next to the hotel, please enjoy very very local beer there.

Clean and a hotel with great view”

Staying in this hotel overall experience is quite good.There is benches at the ground floor where it's for people to seat around for the morning breakfast or just for chit chatting at night, it will tend to get noisy on the ground floor as people talking and chit chatting can sometimes be loud and affect your sleep in the room. if given a choice i would opt to stay on the upper floor. the location is near to the night market. There is bicycle rental at the lobby and it's rather cheap. The breakfast is normal. The room is clean and the aircon is powerful.

Great view we wanted------Great view we got”

I chose this hotel because of location (right on the Mekong) and reasonable tariff. The view we got from our room could not have been better--------180deg.The bed felt hard at first but did not stop us sleeping very well. There is a walking path beside the river in front of the hotel and walking street is very close the other way. Plenty of souvenir shops, eating places and massage shops to choose from. The only real negative was breakfast. Beautiful location with river view but very ordinary choice of food-------no eggs, fruit or fruit juice. For 20 Baht they could have given everyone there a banana

Nice hotel along the boulevard in Chiang Khan”

The rooms were fine and clean. The light in the bathroom is a bit too weak if one has to shave. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine too. Would certainly come back here on visiting Chiang Khan.

Good location”

The hotel is situated next to the Khong River which is great. The GSA booked the boat for river tour which the driver is really great (he is local people with good service mind and very friendly). However my sleep quality is not up to my expectation, I can't sleep well because; - the bed is hard rock, I used the duvet as the topper (luckily I stay here for only 1 night) - there was very noisy during the night time because most of their guest are family. the hotel should have way(s) to manage the noisy children after 10 pm (which I can't sleep until midnight)

All thing is great but light in the room might not brighten enough and need to paint new color in the room.
