“Exceptional”
On July 28, 2025, I reserved a quiet accommodation near the beach in Goseong, Gangwon Province. The remodeled interior of the accommodation was generally clean. A cat welcomed the guests. There was a wall-mounted air conditioner, and while the kids sleeping in the room said it was hot at first, it became cool after some time. There were no pots among the kitchen utensils, only a frying pan and a wok, which were in a state that should have been discarded. Being on the second floor, the bathroom water pressure was really strong. There were wall-mounted shampoo, conditioner, and body wash that you press to get the amount you need next to the shower. There were disposable soaps and soap at the sink. You need to prepare toothpaste and toothbrushes. Basic towels and one large towel were provided in the bathroom. There was only a mirror in the bathroom, so it was a bit disappointing that there was no mirror inside. Thanks to the functioning air conditioner, comfortable bed, and soft blanket, I had a good night's sleep. The small clothes drying rack was useful. (It was even better to bring a hanger.) There was a shared washing machine and dryer in the hallway, which was great for drying rash guards and such after water activities. Parking had to be done outdoors, and arriving after 4 PM, I was flustered due to the lack of parking spaces. I ordered chicken for a late-night snack, and it was delicious. Highly recommended. Breakfast seems to be famous, but since it was vacation and I wanted to sleep in, I passed on making a reservation. There is also a GS25 convenience store on the first floor, which is convenient. The waves were calm, so there were many families with young children. I enjoyed the blue sky and clean East Sea while having a little fun playing in the water and catching clams. At night, we found constellations in the dark sky and enjoyed fireworks, making for a great summer vacation. Overall, it is a good accommodation for a quiet vacation. There aren't many places to eat around, so I would like to prepare in advance for a revisit.
