Comfortable hotel”
I lived here in October 2022. Hotel room very comfortable, everything is green around hotel, trees, palms. Stuff very friendly. But you need know one important things that hotel placed on hills. very sharp slope and some drivers can't even move up to hotel.

Great hotel with a great location, only a few gripes”
The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the beach, and 5 minutes from the largest street food market in patong. It is also just far our enough to be quiet overnight (about 20 minute walk to Bangla road!). The room was on the whole very clean, and can be cleaned every day. The only issue is my partner got ill, like servers hayfever symptoms. This went on for a few days before we checked the air con, which was covered in mould. Once we cleaned it ourselves, she was fine within a few hours. The only other small issue is a very steep hill to the hotel. For me and my partner this was not an issue, as we are both in good shape and we enjoyed the view from the room, but this could be a put off for older customers. Overall would definitely recommend to any travellers looking for a great hotel on a budget.

Hotel with friendly service and great location”
I have been to Phuket three times before and had always booked hotel rooms beforehand on the internet. This time I had not booked a room and was checking out a few hotels in similar price rage in person in Patong. I liked this hotel immediately as the owner of the hotel welcomed me personally and very friendly. Unlike the other hotels, the description on the internet was correct. Other hotels had big construction sites right next door or the pictures of the room must have been taken many years ago. After seeing all the other hotels it was an easy decision. I went back to the Ocean View Phuket Hotel. I like the location of the hotel. I always rent a motobike in Phuket as this is the perfect way of travelling around the island. From the hotel it is very easy to drive to Karon, Kata and all other southern beaches including the sunset point. Staying in Patong beach gives you the advantage of being close to nightlife and not depend on expensive TukTuk drivers (one way Kata to Patong beach is 400 Baht). With the motobike Patong nightlife is only a few minutes away. I personally don't want to live too close to bangla road as it is loud, crowded and drunk people might sleep on the hotels door step. So the Ocean View Phuket has the perfect location for me. The rooms offer all you need, air conditioning, comfortable double bed, TV, mini fridge, shower, balcony with sea view and some rooms even kitchenette. The rooms are clean. Tony, the Owner and his wife Cat are lovely hosts. You can chat with them, get advise or have a drink together at the hotel bar. I will visit this hotel again next time I am in Phuket again.

Quiet getaway from Patong”
The Ocean View Phuket was comfortable and quiet. The owner/staff were very helpful with arranging transfers and were even willing to store our luggage for a couple of nights while we were off on a side trip. The free wireless worked well. Each room has a small safe and a balcony with a couple of chairs and a table. There are lots of restaraunts nearby. The driveway to the hotel is quite steep - the airport bus and the snorkeling van did not drive up to the hotel, but it is only about 100m down to the main road.

it's a very beautiful place where located in hillside near simon show theatre.all of rooms are with french windows and veranda, you can look over ocean view at there,and room also big clean and comfortable.the owner tony and his wife both nice people.they are open friendly and optimistic,but tony also attention to details like a perfectionist,he can't even accept the cushion for leaning on sofa zipper side show out.actually it makes me feel he's turlly a good administrator.on the other words,they also Provide activities and shuttle service.so on my opinion is if you not only don't want to live too far away from patong beach but also don't want to be noisy at night,and also look for a place with beautiful sea view as low price...There will be your best choice

Excellent - as long as you arrange transport”
I had a third floor room in the middle of the row (317 I think). Excellent view, just like pics on website. The bed was a bit hard (they use a very firm foundation mattress and top it with a softer layer. I had to ask for an addl. softer layer which made the bed comfy) One whole wall is glass with sliding door to small balcony with table and chairs. You could lay down on the bed and look out over the sea. the room is spacious. You definitely dont feel squeezed in. Prices, I felt were reasonable according to the season. I looked at a few other rooms near the beach in the same price range and they were small, with worn looking furniture, noisy and no view. The second floor rooms which are cheaper have a good view of the sea but not as exhilarating as third floor. First floor rooms look out over the garden and pool. These have kitchens Air conditioner worked fine. Fridge and safe in room. Wi-Fi sometimes strong in the room, sometimes needed to go out on the balcony where the transmitter is located. Room cleaning is polite and complete. Hot water always avail. The room had no odor whatsoever. I just felt/smelled neutral clean. Staff is very friendly and happy to be of help. Owner also. There are reasonable restaurants within easy walking distance (but you do have to climb the hill back). I suggest the owner make a map. There is an evening/night market where youi can get good Thai food or fruit inexpensively and also sit and have a beer or drink. Coffeemania is a chain of coffee shop/breakfast places that I think are the best value. there is one within walking distance. Also, on that block are many restaurants. Across the street is "Lemongrass" restaurant which has high ratings but I never ate there. 7-11 grocery (all night) across the street The hotel is very quiet at night which was a big plus for me. Charming hotel ”
The stay in Ocean View hotel is very pleasant,we feel pity that we only stay here for one night. It is like a Shangri-la in noisy Patong beach area. Hotel Owner is friendly and humorous, we really enjoy the stay there. Only one drawback is that you have to climb steep ramp to get the hotel. But without the ramp, you can not enjoy the peace and good view.

Really love it, all staff and the owner very warm and so friendly. Nice view from your room if you got the third floor. You can see directly sunset from your room and it's priceless. I will recommend this hotel if my friend or family have a plan to visit Phuket or Patong beach. Just a little advice, it would be better if you rent a bike when you stay for a long time. So many interesting place that you can explore around Patong area. Many thanks to Mr Tony and all staff. All of you make our trip completely unforgetable.

A Low Seasons Paradise”
My brother and I had a very pleasant stay in the hotel and enjoyed the uphill location for its fresh air and relaxing peaceful atmosphere during the low season! We would like to thank the whole team for the warm welcome and great service (including the needed dummytraining "How to ride a scooter"! with special thanx to our friend Willy!!!) I can really recommend this location for anyone who is not disabled walking up the driveway and it is absolutely no problem driving up by car or scooter! Shhhhhh. Dont tell everyone”
after a crazy few days right next to the beach for new years, i moved to this hotel and right away felt my whole demeanor change. access is from a main road, and the driveway is a killer to drag a suitcase up, but its worth the effort. i had a great room with the promised ocean view, and was unaware the main road was even there. i could relax here, have a swim, and chill out. and then when i was ready, jump on the bike and be back in amongst it in minutes. would i go back? yes. would i recommend it to a friend? only if i had already booked my room so i didnt miss out.

Very relaxing hotel with fantastic sea view”
we booked for 1 night and we stayed 6 nights in this very nice hotel . the hotel staff is gracious and friendly and very efficient. they could help us with planning our trips to the beaches and the islands. the rooms were impeccably clean, nice, comfortable and modern with balcony. the view of patong bay is amazing. lovely pool. very good location, walking distance to the beach and nightlife. very good value for money, and would definitely stay there again.

Relaxing in Patong”
This hotel is at the Southern end of Patong, away from the crazy crowds and noise so a good place for relaxation and keeping some sanity. It's very clean and friendly, not big place but very personable. The pool is relatively small but big enough for limited laps and a nice place to cool off. The bar is well stocked although the restaurant is minimal - however, there's a great food plaza just down the hill. The driveway - it's steep, and a definite cardiac workout if you don't have a scooter. If you call the hotel they will come down in a tricycle to bring you and you luggage up to the top - but once up there and installed in your spacious room the view is spectacular. All tour operators will make pick-ups from the hotel and it's a 15 minute walk to the beach. Definitely recommend this place for people wanting a friendly, quiet retreat from the energy of the main town.

only 15 rooms here very quiet pool only small but not many guest there so didnt matter very steep hill to walk up there is a 7/11 and family mart down the hill lovely laundry lady across the road about 15min walk to patong beach over all at $16 dollars a night well worth money not much in kithchen frige plates cooktop cutlery but there r plenty places to eat not far from hotel

Great people, nice quiet location with great views”
Stay was great. Staff and owners couldn't do enough for you.The male owner is a nice French fellow with his lovely Thai wife and daughter.Always there to offer great advice and all with a smile. I had an upstairs room with a great view over looking other accommodation at the beach.Its only a 3 minute scooter ride to the city centre. At night the city is very noisy but this location is just far enough away to give a nice quiet nights sleep. There is a very steep long driveway so walking up and down it would be tough.( approx 200 meters steep)They hire scooters at this hotel at a very reasonable price. I would not recommended this hotel for people that dont hire a car or a scooter or disabled or elderly people due to the driveway . I will stay there again

Good location for motorbike hotel on top but beautiful view . Clear , big and good quality room one minus stinks with air conditioning like from toilet I don’t know why ? Stuff very nice always help . Home style feel like home :) one question room with kitchen but in kitchen nothing just microwave no equipment?

very welcoming, service definitely with a smile”
this hotel is small, basic but very clean. everyone is very welcoming and friendly. it's on the edge of the map for Patong beach which is only a 10-15 min walk away. the hotel is up a steep slope, which is okay if you are fit. Don't be put off by this, there are bikes for rent and the owner has let people use the bikes to pop to the shop at the bottom.

Lovely hotel with ocean view”
Stayed for 2 nights. 10-15 minutes to the beach, 7-11 right in front and nice fitness, massage n spa to the right side. The owner is a friendly couple and the service is very good, the room was cleaned every day. It is not in the noisy neighbourhood, however you can find places to eat, drink and shop if you are willing to walk for awhile. We did not find difficulties with transportation since we booked tours that gave pickup and return services. We just walk a bit when we explored patong beach, the town and junc ceylon the mall. The entrance is steepy though for people who might have problems with walking and hiking, but tuk-tuk & taxi could bring you right in front of the lobby, while minibus can drop you halfway the entrance. Recommend this hotel to everybody who likes quiet but easy place to go anywhere.
