"Arrival & Reception From the moment i stepped into Pocoyo Hotel, we knew we were in for something different. Rather than a traditional hotel lobby, the entrance opens into a bright, airy lounge area with modern seating and a friendly, casual atmosphere. Check-in was swift and welcoming—thanks in no small part to Mujeeb at the front desk. He greeted us with a warm smile, took the time to explain the layout of the property, and even offered tips on nearby cafés and transport options. His attentiveness set the tone for our entire stay. Dorm-Style Rooms & Privacy Pods Our accommodation came in a “pod” bunk format, each individual sleeping space enclosed by a sturdy black mesh frame and fitted with a thick curtain for privacy. The wooden floors and built-in under-bed drawers gave the room a sleek, contemporary hostel feel, while still feeling exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Each pod included: A comfortable mattress with crisp linens A personal USB and standard power outlet mounted on the frame An adjustable clip-on reading lamp and compact desk fan A small folding table and chair for office work or meals Privacy curtains were thick enough to block out light when you needed to rest, yet easy to draw open when you wanted a more social vibe. Facilities & Common Areas Down the central corridor, you’ll find tidy, well-stocked shared bathrooms (kept spotless throughout the day) and a communal kitchen/lounging zone where travelers can prepare a quick snack or gather for conversation. The décor blends industrial touches—exposed mesh panels and metal accents—with warm wood tones, creating a space that’s both edgy and inviting. Free Wi-Fi ran reliably throughout, and the air-conditioning system kept everything cool, even during peak afternoon heat. Service Excellence — Kudos to Mujeeb What truly elevated our stay was the service. Mujeeb, the receptionist, was consistently attentive and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Whether it was arranging a late-night taxi, reprinting a lost boarding pass, or simply offering a friendly chat about local hidden gems, his professionalism and genuine care never wavered. He even followed up the morning of our departure to ensure our transport had arrived on time. Overall Impression Pocoyo Hotel strikes a perfect balance between hostel sociability and hotel-level comfort. It’s an excellent choice for solo travelers, digital nomads, or small groups seeking affordable private sleeping pods without sacrificing amenities or cleanliness. With standout staff like Mujeeb on hand, you’ll walk away feeling supported and well-informed about the city. Highly recommended for anyone who values modern design, privacy options, and exceptional hospitality."

"I had an excellent two-day stay at Citadines Hotel, OMR Chennai. The room was exclusive, clean, and truly worth the money. The kitchenette was well-equipped, the washroom spotless, and the balcony view delightful. Loved the hotel’s green building concept - an admirable step towards sustainability. The restaurant had a wonderful ambience — the unlimited veg thali was sumptuous (though a bit high on masala), and the buffet breakfast offered great North & South Indian and Continental options. Those craving authentic South Indian veg food can try Geetham Restaurant nearby — slightly pricey but absolutely worth it. Quick billing, ample parking, and a safe environment for solo women travellers made the stay even better. Overall, a comfortable and memorable experience!"
