Our stay at Orchard Hotel”

Our 4 nights stay with Orchard Hotel was great. We stayed at 2x Superior rooms as our boys stayed on the other room. The rooms were very clean and the beds were really cozy and comfortable to sleep in. The cleaner as we requested cleaned our rooms almost everyday. When we arrived the friendly Filipina staff, Mel checked us in and we requested that our 2 rooms be right next to each other. We got the requested rooms thanks to Mel. The following day I inquired with the Hotel's tour desk and we booked for our Sentosa, Night Safari and the Cheng Ho Dinner Cruise. On the times that we were not joining the local tours, we've been walking from our hotel down to Orchard Road. We basically entered most of the buildings and had been in and out of all the boutiques and high end shops. Gosh!!!! My leg hurts but it was a good excercise. During weekends we could see lot of Filipinos around Orchard Road. We tried taking the MRT experience going to Clark Quay to eat a crabby lunch at Jumbo Restaurant and then after a big meal we walked to Chinatown. The hotel's location was great. We just have to walk towards the road to start our trail going down to Orchard Road. On our last day we tried having lunch at the 2nd level Chinese Rest. They have a good selection of food there. Yum-cha's good too. Downstairs at the Cafe they have a very nice buffet lunch and dinner. I just looked on the food selections and they were nice too. We didn't try it, next time we will. Our overall experience with Orchard Hotel was an A plus. We will recommend to our family and friends to stay there when they visit Singapore. We like Singapore. It is so clean and quiet and feels so safe to travel around and very similar to our experience at Orchard Hotel. SEE YOU NEXT TIME IN ORCHARD HOTEL. All the best to all of you guys. Kind, Friendly, Centrally Located, Professional”

Due to a missed plane flight, I had called Orchard Hotel Singapore in advance of our trip. The reservation is non-refundable -- but they kindly explained to me how I can request an amend letter to reschedule the reservation. I did that and it was rescheduled -- but I booked a new flight and continued the trip anyway. When we arrived, they told me the reservation had been rescheduled already! Then they phoned in order to clear everything and set the reservation back to the original date. In addition to that, they gave me a free room upgrade due to all the inconvenience, on the 16th floor that was a "Select" room with red curtains, red pillows, electric automatic window blinds, and more. My and my girlfriend were very happy. Furthermore, at first the free wifi didn't work in our room. Within minutes, they sent a well dressed tech person dressed in a black suit and carrying an iPod who corrected the problem shortly. The next day, our flight doesn't leave until the evening, but our check-out time was 12 noon from the hotel. Thankfully, the hotel allowed us free use of the lobby with internet during that afternoon, which made our trip much more enjoyable. They also printed out 1 two page document for me, and there was no charge... We are very happy with this choice of hotel and will choose it again. Most importantly is the professionalism and business atmosphere. I was able to work productively and accomplish excellent amounts of work during this trip, and at night in the hotel room. This hotel is #1 centrally located on Orchard road between the 2 nicest resorts and #2 is also one of the largest hotels in the area with over 650 rooms. If you are looking for a professional business environment and central location with a good atmosphere, choose this hotel.

Excellent service and good location”

me, my sisters and brother (all four of us are young adults) had a great time at orchard hotel (3 days 2 nights) though we really didn't stay that much long inside our hotel rooms because we were always out and about exploring singapore. the fact that we were tired by the end of the day, it was very relaxing to come home to a nice hotel room, with comfortable bed and nice bathroom. it's also worth mentioning that our 2 rooms (both superior) were upgraded for free to deluxe rooms because the other superior room wasn't ready according to the frontdesk personnel when we checked-in (around 2pm). also, we requested for connecting rooms, and they gladly gave in to our request. we also have free wifi for both rooms. one downside i can think of is the size of the deluxe room. i've stayed in other 5-star hotels but orchard hotel's deluxe rooms are quite small. but then again, i really don't mind it that much because as i've said we only sleep, take a bath and leave and that's it. overall, i'm impressed by this 5-star hotel for their impeccable service and would definitely stay here again in the future.

Orchard Hotel Singapore has possibly the best location in the Singapore hotels.Hotel is very close to the famous shopping centers,restaurants,bars.Hotel check in-out is very fast and the staff is very helpfull.Rooms are good decorated,air condition and LCD tv works well but the in room safe is not fixed to the wall.In the bathroom there are both shower and bath tub.No curtain or cabin around the bath tub and missing gaskets around the swinging glass door of the shower makes the bathroom wet.Hotel restaurant and breakfast is perfect.If your flight is late there is a hospitality room for the clients who need to change their clothes and have shower after their check outs.

Luxurious hotel with good ambiance and comfort”

My stay at the Orchard Hotel was very comfortable and relaxing. My stay in Singapore itself was a brief one of about 4 days; I had in fact arrived just in time to witness the Chinese New Year celebrations directly outside the hotel and inside the hotel itself. The experience was pleasant and I enjoy the cosmopolitan nature of the Orchard Hotel. I would say that the main selling point of this hotel is its location and accesibility. The main shopping street is located directly outside and the city's largest and most prestigious designer stores are just minutes away. The taxi service is quick and efficient as are the luggage storage facilities. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I plan to stay here again in the future due to the very positive experiences here.

Always good”

I normally always stay at the Orchard Hotel and I am never disappointed. It is a very busy hotel and the breakfast area is always crowded...so get up early and miss the mid morning crowd. The Chinese restaurant on the 1st floor is the best Chinese food I have ever eaten in Singapore and I eat there on every visit. It is close to Orchard Towers a well know entertainment establishment just across the road. I will always stay here as my first preference for Singapore Hotel as it meets my shopping and entertainment criteria, plus it is a quality room.

BEST SERVICES EVERRR!!!”

Me and my husband stayed at Orchard Hotel Singapore because it was near our wedding venue. From the moment we arrived they were very welcoming. They helped us with our luggages and garment bags containing our wedding outfits. The front desk guy was also very helpful and friendly. Parking was easy they even let us parked at the VIP spot so it was easier for us to get off the car for outfit changing during our wedding day. They gave us a complimentary cake congratulating us for our wedding, it was very thoughtful and nice of them! I couldn’t thank them enough for the amazing services provided. Sadly, I didn’t get the names of the people involved in making our stay very pleasant. As for the room, it was much spacious than i thought it would be. The bed was a king size bed too. The bathroom lighting was amazing!! Great lighting, huge mirror and really clean. I would definitely come again and would recommend everyone to come and stay here ☺️

Orchard Hotel is close to everything”

When they did not have our requested room with only one bed they upgraded us for free so we would have what we wanted. The hotel is lovely and close to all the attractions in Singapore. The gym is small but has all you need. The pool and poolside bar were also excellent. I enjoyed our brief stay. I can't rate any hotel in Singapore as being a great value for the money because they are all over priced but I was satisfied with the value for the money at Orchard Hotel.

Great Hotel to combine business and pleasure”

I travelled on business but had my wife with me so Orchard Road was the only choice. The location of Orchard Hotel was of course perfect for shopping but I also learned that it was also a `considerate' location for business associates to pick you up. This was true for two main reasons: 1) This Orchard Rd. hotel was just outside the ERP (Singapore Peak hour toll) and 2) There is apparently a lot of options to get to the hotel and skirt the Orchard Road traffic. All told, it was a memorable time for spending some time with my wife and accomplishing a lot business wise. Hotel staff were very friendly and efficient the only negative I can think of is that the hotel can get pretty busy at times.

Perfectly located near shops and transport. ”

We stayed for a week and found this to be a great location in the Orchard precinct. Close to all the shops, with Orchard MRT station a short walk from the hotel. An abundance of food choices at excellent prices. So many food halls nearby. Pool and gym facilities are great. But the best thing is to use the hotel as a staging point to visit all the attractions of Singapore. There is a full supermarket and an Irish pub in the basement of Claymore Connect which can be accessed without leaving the building. (Great when raining. ) Clarke Quay is a short drive down the road. All up this was a high quality place to stay at an excellent price.

Great location on Orchard Road ”

I have stayed in many different hotels in Singapore in the past ranging from the Carlton to Orchard Mandarin to Changi Village, and i enjoyed my stay here at the Orchard Hotel better than the others, the hotel has excellent leisure facilities, good size of pool for keen swimmer and the pool is in a secluded area on level 4 therefore you are not swimming around next to the breakfast lounge...as i have had to do in other hotels, the gym also has some very good equipment and a sauna, the hotel rooms are a good size and serviced daily, hotel is in a great location for beer bars, clubs, dining and shopping, so something for everyone..

Outstanding Customer Service”

Check in is fast, efficient and outstanding customer service from Mr. Nelson. He is very attentive, friendly and professional. The room was average, definitely clean but can be better. Breakfast has many choices but too crowded. Location is superb in Orchard Area and everything can be easily access. Definitely its worth the price and value for money especially in Singapore, Orchard area location. Two thumbs up for Orchard Hotel Singapore. Highly Recommended.

the orchard hotel is a great hotel to stay in singapore if you intend to do a lot of shopping..the hotel is situated near malls..walking around malls will surely make one fit (lol)..the staff is very accommodating..the hotel exceeded my expectation and will stay here again next time i'll be in singapore..thanks to orchard hotel for making my first visit to singapore a comfortable one..more success to orchard hotel..

Nice hotel in Orchard area”

Orchard Hotel Singapore has a good location near the shopping area. The hotel is connected to a mall where there are restaurants, shops, and a supermarket. In-house dining include Chinese restaurant Hua Ting, Orchard Cafe, and Hua Ting Steamboat. The room, though small, has good amenities. Wifi is fast. Housekeeping needs improvement. They forgot to throw the trash and left the garbage bag on the floor one time, forgot to leave clean towels one day, and forgot to give complimentary bottle water on another day. Reception frontliners were helpful and quick to help.

Our honeymoon ”

After reading some reviews on the internet I was skeptical about choosing orchard so I only booked for 2 nights so we could look around in the event we are unhappy with the location. After staying one day and looking at other places we booked orchard for the rest of the week. The problems that other people complained about I never witnessed.both rooms were clean and well kept, linen was excellent, breakfast very good with excellent variety. I only carry 3 debit cards but they said no problem charged me for the room only waived the deposit. Check out was smooth and easy . Our flight was cancelled and moved 1 day later unfortunately no rooms available at orchard they recommended others close to area but they were to expensive. Moved to mercure that day was close in price everything there was up to orchard level except rooms much smaller and the location not as good too far to walk have to use bus or taxi.

Spacious room, nice & clean.”

The hotel is in a very convenient location. We like the rooms, spacious for our older children. We had 3 rooms as we have a party of 3 adults & 5 teenagers. Even with a room which we requested for an extra bed, it was roomy enough for us to move around. We took up the offer of buffet breakfast on Day 2 of our stay. We are charged S$ 22 ++ instead of a walk-in price of S$30++. We also had dinner on Day 2 night at the hotel. Orchard Hotel is located along Orchard Road. It is very convenient. We just need to step out of hotel & walk 5 minutes, we see Isetan Scotts (on the same side of the hotel) & across, there is Orchard ION & Takashimaya, Tangs. The Orchard MRT is just below spanning across Isetan Scotts/Tangs/ION.

Great service even during peak period”

Although my stay was during a peak period (Singapore school holidays and the Singapore Sale) and there was high occupancy, the service was efficient. The hotel personnel were friendly and courteous. The room was clean and pleasant although i suspect that the temperature control knob in my room was not very effective - room remained cold even when i had adjusted the temperature upwards. Overall, i would definitely consider Orchard Hotel again for my next trip.

Good convenient hotel”

The hotel was very cosy and clean. The help desk was extremely supportive and arranged and gave us guidance for travelling tips in Singapore. Staff at the restaurant were very pleasant and the environment created a homely stay. More restaurants within the hotel should be explored especially to cater for the number of residents that frequent the hotel although it is also convenient to go to the restaurants on the outside of the hotel or the fast food shops adjoining the hotel with direct access to the shopping centre adjacent to the hotel. A convenient seven eleven store is within 100metres from the hotel and a variety of designer shops are in Orchard main road at the hotels convenience. I thoroughly enjoyed the walk in Orchard Main Road.

Great for weekend getaway”

My husband and I had a quick 2 day stopover in Singapore after coming back from a busy 2 week holiday in Seoul, so we needed a "holiday from our holiday"! We wanted to stay on Orchard Road to be close to the main shopping and restaurants and Orchard Hotel is great. Just a few minutes walk from Ion Orchard, which is pretty much where we did our main shopping and eating. Only a few minutes walk from Tanglin Mall too, where we had a lovely fish spa and foot reflexology at Kenko (to relax from all the walking we did in Seoul)! The hotel room was spacious and clean and the bathroom was great too.
