We loved our stay and our beach view room was perfect. The hotel grounds were stunning. We found the food at the resort to be expensive but lacking the 5 star feeling. Same with the pool bar, the cocktails seemed basic without the 5 star elevation. The access to beach could be cleaned up with rubbish all around the entry paths down. The gym was good albeit it was small-ish. Squash court was great. Breakfast was nice. We were there in off season which made everything feel very calm. I imagine breakfast and gym feeling overcrowded during peak season. They should offer free shuttle at anytime of day to take to boat avenue/ start of entrance as its a 15 min walk. It's only offered at certain times of day.

We were very impressed with the staff, facilities, food, amenities, etc. Friendly staff always had a smile and provided proactive support - an excellent job of selecting and training personnel. Beautiful facility was well maintained and clean. Comforted by great security. Buffet breakfast was the best! A bonus was the early morning continental breakfast provided to runners during our stay - thanks! So peaceful and serene at night. Very helpful concierge for tours. We'll stay again when in Phuket. First in in Laguna and decided on SAii over other resorts due to pool images & “oceanview” room. The good: Wonderful, friendly staff, nice resort aesthetics and a good size room. Lots of sports and activities to keep busy during rainy weather. The not so good: Our “oceanview” room did have a partial sea view but it was marred by extremely dirty, constantly condensated windows so we couldn’t see anything and it had a a tiny balcony. The window was minimally cleaned upon request. The pool was also a bit dirty and I feel needs more attention to keep it clean. The restaurant was expensive and only average and the beach restaurant was too small and not appealing. The staff were too nice and didn’t not stop smokers by the pool despite this being against the rules. The pool slide also resulted in a lot of disturbance by constantly screaming children so a lagoon view would be better in this regard.

“Great stay but food options for vegetarians could be better”
The property is great but we hope a few things get improved 1. Location - 8/10. The view is 11/10 but the proximity to other Phuket attraction or the nearby market is not very convenient. But definitely, a 10/10 if you just want to spend time at the property. The beaches are super clean. 2. Food - 8/10. The quality of the food is amazing. We are vegetarians and had a 3 children in the group and had a very limited menu available to us during dinner. Mr. Tom Yam restaurant at the beachfront does have more options than Olive Oyl or the Terra and Mar. 3. Service - 9/10. Overall services are great but there were a few things we wished were better. Our baby was not feeling well and we needed just warm milk for him after 11 pm. We understood that the restaurant got closed and there was no way the staff could help us. We have travelled across the world and have never faced such problems from a 4 or 5 star property. Also, due to the Beach Access Rooms being far, we sometimes faced delay in getting amenities. 4. Room and Facilities - 9/10. Rooms were great. Swimming Pools were good. Kids had a lot of fun.
