Very friendly and service-orientated staff”

I had booked a room via Agoda for 2 nights. Upon arrival, the reception staff was very apologetic as they found my room to be unsuitable for accommodation due to some issues. They had tried to contact me in vain ( I was riding my motorbike on-route from Hatyai and cellphone reception wasn't very good for most part.) Had 4-5 staff coming to me and apologising profusely. They had already made arrangement for me to stay in another hotel for the 1st night. A couple of the reception staff led me to the new hotel some 200 metres away on the main road. They even checked my new accommodation before assuring me that I would be welcome to the complimentary breakfast the following morning. The temporary accommodation was a standalone villa unit, which is definitely a sincere upgrade from the superior room that I had booked with Palm Coco Mantra. The only gripe I had with the new accommodation with its open parking space for my motorbike. (I had chose Palm Coco Mantra as their parking space though small, was set in a secluded enclave away from the hustle and bustle of the main road. Feel its more secure.) Palm Coco Mantra staff offered to send a set of their complimentary breakfast to my villa. I opted to go to their cafe though. The cafe staff made me felt very welcome and their breakfast variety was pretty decent. At this point in time, I was on the fence about coming back to Palm Coco Mantra's promised upgrade to a deluxe room and continuing to stay in my current place. It was the hassle of packing and unpacking that tipped my hand. So I opted to continue staying in my villa. It wasn't an uneasy decision, I must say. Definitely will recommend Palm Coco Mantra for their outstanding service. PS. Their parking space is very limited. Do consult them in advance if you are planning to visit in a large group with your own personal transports.

What a delight to have a chance to stayed here!!! A great experience that we will NEVER forget. After intensive research on a decent hotels in koh samui, Palm coco did not disappoint me one bit! Everything u see about this hotel on any websites or reviews is what u get once u'r there. Stayed here with my Family and an 18 months old son for 4 nights with 2deluxe seaview rooms late November 2014. Great communication with the hotel before arrival. Excellent service upon arrival. Prompt check-in. Bell staff was very friendly and helpful getting us and ALL our stuff up to the room. Our room was on top floor which had amazing view!! My mum n aunt was staying on the ground floor as there's no elevator in the hotel. The room itself was nice and very spacious with comfy king bed. Wifi was very fast as well. The morning offerings were very good with hot and cold items as well as made to order omelets and other egg dishes but this could be rotate or change it around for more options. The staff was very attentive to my son, giving him lots of attention but never being intrusive. They'd made his special egg meal everyday and make sure that he had enough to eat n even did room service on the morning that we missed. The hotel is great for those who after private, peaceful and quiet place (which we were). The hotel is tucked away from the main road n a good 5-10mins ride on a bike to lamai or chaweng. So bike or car hire is recommend if u wanna get around the island. Or by taxi. Thanks heaps to all staff at Palm coco mantra for took great care of us. I would very much enjoy staying here again and would highly recommend others to stay here too.

Exceptional accommodation in northern Lamai”

My family spent 4 nights in Palm Coco Mantra Resort. We stayed in the Villa. - Staff are extremely friendly, helpful and cheerful. - Accommodation price is reasonable. Palm Coco does provide transport service from hotel to the airport (we paid $500Bhat). It costs $700Bhat from the airport to Lamai northern area. - Well connected with strong WIFI. - The buffet breakfast in poolside should not be missed out. - The pool is not big but it is just next to the beach. Compared to Lamai beach and Chewang beach, the sand here is finer and the sea is clam. It is a good spot for kayaking. - There is a restaurant named "Uncle Rang" in the beach on the left hand side (30 second walk). They cook very delicious Thai food. The food is very cheap. - There is a Family Mart in 10 minutes walk. Be prepared that the hotel is not close to the Lamai beach area / Lamai shopping street. You can reach there by walk in 30 minutes. But you can always take a taxi or rent a scooter. We definitely recommend this resort to couples, friends, and family with children.

Beautiful resort”

My sister and I stayed 2 nights at palm coco mantra and it was amazing. It was a perfect way to end our stay in Koh Samui. We had initially booked to stay at ark bar but checked out early because it was loud, dirty and full of obnoxious partiers. We are both around 30 years old and love to party. Ark bar was too intense however. We had a seaside bungalow and it was so cute. King bed was very comfy and room very clean. This pool was awesome, however, not a ton of lounger chairs so make sure to get up early to get one. This resort is very quiet to enjoy relaxing during the day. The beach in front of the pool is very beautiful too. Food/ breakfast at the restaurant was all yummy. All the staff were very friendly. The sunsets we saw on Lamai beach were some of the best we saw in Thailand!!! I simply can't say enough good things about this resort. The location was about 15 min taxi to chaweng area and I think cost about 400 baht for 2 of us. I would however recommend visiting lamai instead. Lots of amazing restaurants, bars and shops. We thought it was way nicer and cleaner compared to chaweng. Hope our review helps :)

manchmal muss man glück haben! wir hatten glück als wir uns für das palm coco mantra resort in lamai entschieden haben. wir waren auf der suche nach einer neuen bleibe und da sind wir über dieses resort gestolpert. wir wussten nicht was uns erwartet und haben recht schnell eingecheckt. und dann: wow! das ist wunderschön! wir hatten einen bungalow mit blick aufs meer. fantastisch! das zimmer großzügig und frisch und sauber, mit klimaanlage und ventilator. genügend ablagen und stauraum. das badezimmer schön und groß. vor der türe eine hängematte zum dösen und lesen. der blick aufs meer ist großartig. hier kann man abschalten. es ist angenehm, ruhig und stilvoll. man ist ganz für sich wenn man möchte. oder man kann im infinity-pool entspannen und aufs meer blicken. am besten gleich nach dem frühstück. es gibt restaurant und bar. der spa-bereich wird gerade noch eingerichtet, den konnten wir leider noch nicht geniessen. alles andere ist unglaublich schön. die mitarbeiter sind ein tolles team: alle nett und freundlich und hilfsbereit. man hat den eindruck sie machen das auch gerne. die lage ist großartig, weil man am rande von lamai ganz ruhig wohnt und wenn es einen in das belebtere lamai zieht schnappt man sich seinen roller oder ein taxi. alles in allem eine wirklich schöne wohlfühloase. wir hatten großes glück sie zu finden. wir haben uns zu 100% wohlgefühlt und werden wiederkommen!

Wonderful stay at the Palm Coco Mantra”

We stayed at the Palm Coco Mantra for 4 nights in December. The hotel is located off the beach and the views from our hillside accomodations was spectacular. The staff at this resort were super friendly and helpful. The only "con" might be that the beach in front of the hotel is smaller so if you like to have a bigger beach then you might want to look at more options. This beach was very sheltered so great for families with kids. We found the location great as well for walking up town if you needed any fresh fruit or other restaurants. The morning breakfast at the Palm Coco Mantra was great and there were many options in the buffet. We would recommend this hotel to anyone staying on Koh Samui.

Nice service, kind guys, very helpful”

It's the best resort or hotel I have ever stayed. I will never forget the experience during my stay in their resort. Last 9th, my husbund and I come to Palm Coco, nice lady and handsome gentlemen suggest us to visit waterfall no.2 and gave us many good advice for our trip. But very unfortunately, we got an accident when we rode back hotel. We were sent to hospital, in the following days everyone worked in resort they provide us free room service, and did their best for our room arrangement as we only booked one day in their resort.And their car driver sent us to clinic for injury treatment everyday and police station for accident. They were really nice and kind, we sincerely thank you very much. Now we have recovered in home, if we are going to visit island Samui, we will choose Palm Coco Mantra Resort again. Thank you all again！

I took the time to Write the best comment for you! For the second time we stayed my boyfriend and I in your hotel and we would like to say that you are amazing and I felt like it was my second home. You truly are a family. I want to highlight the welcome, kindness and approachability of the staff . You are doing such an amazing job!!!!!! I got bite by an insect and the staff gave me medicine to calm the pain! Thanks a lot. The swimming pool and beach are beautiful and the location is ideal. The beach is quiet and very nice for a long walk in the evening. The restaurant serves you délicate local food with great taste. And every morning for breakfast the hotel make the best wafle of Koh samui ❤️ Rooms are clean big in size and fully equipped with complimentary tea and coffee and even flip flops are available in the room. When it was the time to say goodbye it was very difficult to me and I got tears!!I am gonna miss a lot Palm coco Mantra❤️ With all my heart thank you so so much!

Super friendly stay ”

A clean and small hotel on a private beach located north of Lamai main beach, If low tide then its possible to walk over to the Lamai beach. First we booked 5 nights in a superior room with sea view, and we loved this room. Is equipped with a big balcony just in front of the sea, a real king size bed also with sea view. During our stay the pool help us to get cooled due to the low tide in the sea. Staff is wonderful, the hole way from management, receptionists to the restaurant personal :) there Mr E, will get you on a good breakfast mood. If you feel for some kayaking then is just to borrow a small one beside the restaurant. The sea water is clear, and you have some rocks to get snorkeling around . We also increased our stay by 4 nights but now in a Villa room due to the booking situation, in a villa room you will get a little bit closer to the pool and sea and maybe get a more privacy feeling, but also less sea view compare with the superior sea view room. Restaurant food is delicious and have reasonable price setting. Our main task was relaxing, and will definitely get back to Palm Coco Mantra in the feature. The only cons we found is the low tide that give you difficulty to have a bath in the sea.

Nice resort for a relaxing holiday”

Hotel tuck in between a few 5 stars establishment, with the price we pay, it's a steal to enjoy the same beach. Rooms are spacious and beautiful, our deluxe sea view room was right in the middle with infinity pool view and sea view, so pretty! Very helpful staff, smile and greet you everytime. Provide useful information, proactively check our flight schedule and offer assistance to book our transfer to airport. They also recommend us a cheap and tasty restaurant nearby for dinner. Hotel breakfast is also very nice, good selection, and tasty. Only thing is the beach is not suitable for swimming as it has seashells and stones on the shore, but the pool substitute it. Also, the area was very quiet after 9pm, nothing to do and you can just relax at the resort. If you prefer a quiet area, this will be your choice. If you want a happening area, you should choose other hotel. I'll recommend this place for a laid back holiday. Thanks Palm Coco Mantra team.

Fabulous hotel by the beach”

I stayed at the palm coco for 3 nights while touring koh samui. Everything was great and contrary to some other hotel this one was neither oversold nor overpriced for what you get.I had a superior sea view room and it's just what you need when u just wanna sunbathe on the balcony or from the pool. No need to fight to get a chair! It's located between lamai and chaweng so going to either is quite easy! However, as a solo traveller who doesn't drive, the location is just a minor inconvenient when you just wanna go around the market or the main beach because there is a bit of a walk to the main road but appart from that, u have local tuktuk that goes around or you will find plenty of taxi as well a motorbike taxi once u get there. You can just rent a motorcycle straight from the hotel if you drive. Overall I loved this hotel also because you can book a variety of activities straight from the reception all of which include a pick-up from the hotel,so no need to go very far to plan before making the most of your time there.And they will also offer you options if they know of something that you will like better than what you picked or had in mind! I wanted to book a thai cooking lesson from the leaflet I had seen online and at the front desk, but the girl inform me that sandalwood hotel that was closer provided that type of service as well.Unfortunately they were fully booked but the fact that she at least tried and let me know of what was available was amazing.I was blown away by the hospitality.

We loved this hotel during our holiday. We have booked a sea view room and it was worth. It was so amazing that we could see the beach from the bed in the morning. The staff was very friendly. Thank you for Mr. Ae for his very, very kindness and for his help in everything. Thank you for Mrs. Bo and Mrs. Amy and for the other staff in the hotel, whose name we don't know unfortunately. They were very friendly, nice and helpful. They helped us in everything, although we had a lots of questions. The hotel is in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, which was very important for us, when we had choosen this hotel. But not far from the abounding Lamai beach (by scooter ten minutes). Although the hotel's restaurant is good, you can reach other restaurant on the main road in ten minutes walk. Breakfast is continental and rich, but you can eat thai meals as well. With the cleanness of the hotel was everything OK. The speed of the wifi was for us OK (not too slow, average) and next to the pool and beach was OK as well! All in all we have really enjoyed our stay in Palm Coco Mantra.

Great hotel, well located & peaceful”

We stayed at Palm Coco Mantra Resort twice. The first time we had booked for 10 days and liked it so much, that after we had been to another hotel that we had already booked for 7 days, we re booked Palm Coco for another 17 days and loved it again. The staff are amazingly friendly and treat you like a friend. The rooms are big and clean (cleaned daily & thoroughly. We stayed in a sea view room in the main building and the view from the balcony was spectacular. We hired a motorbike from the hotel at very good rates and the bike was in excellent condition. The breakfast buffet, whilst not quite as good as most 5 star resorts, was better than some and definitely sufficient, with plenty of fruits, or cooked breakfast in western & Asian styles. What else can we say, we will stay there again.

We stayed 4 nights in Palm Coco Mantra hotel which has, in my opinion, the best location on Koh Samui island. Room with a great view on the sea. The beach be front of the hotel is not good for swimming, but just 3min away with scooter you can find a great looking quiet beach. Hotel is clean and nice. Staff is friendly, always smiling. Only the breakfast is average. Pool is also very good. I truly recommend this hotel!

We fell in love with the Palm Coco Mantra Resort after our visit and we have enjoyed every bit of time we had spend at the resort and on the island itself. So that we will be back in 2019. The hospitality is exceptional and staff members such as Mr E add value to the resort. The food at the resort is fantastic and you do not even need to go out at night. The room was very clean and the staff always ready to help. I have nothing negative to say about this resort. It is a little gem hidden away, waiting for you to explore.

friendly with a great view”

Stayed three wonderfully relaxed nights enjoying the amazing views from the room at Palm Coco Mantra. The hotel had all the comforts, but wasnt over the top. Every room shares the same amazing view of the beach, which was incredible. However the beach infront of the hotel isnt really swimmer friendly, but thats fine when you have the awesome pool pretty much right on the sand anyway. The whole stay was very nice, the room was very well laid out, with everyone having there own private balcony. The restaurant and reception areas are very simple, but effective. It is only a very short ride into Lamai or Chaweng night areas, but dont plan on walking to either spot in under 20-30 mins. And finally the staff were great fun. Very friendly and helpful to try there best, even though they all seemed a little new and un-experienced, they went over the top to help with any little query.

Good time for me to stay at this resort. It is a small resort is best service and good smile of reception. I would like to recommend all go to Lamai beach, Samui but not forget Palm Coco Mantra Resort in your decision.

Excellent hotel with friendly and helpful staff”

I just came back from a 4-night stay at this hotel. It was wonderful. The deluxe room was spacious, with superb sea view. The sea was very clear at that region and free kayak is provided for hotel guest as well. The staff are very helpful, especially the manager, Cartoon. As my stay initially was only a 3-night stay, but due to some plan change, i went back to Koh samui for my last night of holiday. i only managed to drop her an email regarding this request and she could confirm for the room availability on the same day, and even better, we got an upgrade to superior room! And for our ferry ride on the early morning next day, there are even 2 packed breakfast waiting for us as we checked out. Thanks to all the staff at Palm Coco, you guys make our holiday wonderful!!

Great value for money in this new hotel”

My boyfriend and I prolonged our stay in the Palm Coco Mantra as this hotel offers you exactly what you need when visiting the island of Samui against a fair price. We enjoyed our room and balcony with sea view and the breakfast at the beach side very much. The hotel also has a nicely maintained pool in their garden directly located at the beach. If you, just like us, value great quality basics more than 'unnecessary' luxuries, this hotel will offer you great value for money. Many thanks to the lovely staff who made us feel at home.

Amazing service!”

Me and my girlfriend stayed at Palm Coco Mantra for 7 days and we absolutely loved it. The service was exceptional – friendly staff, always smiling and greeting us. They did everything they could to make us feel welcome! The resort itself was very chilled. Nice swimming pool, great views from the rooms. The beach was ok, but you wouldn't be able to swim there as it's too shallow. Nice for a walk though! We ended up going to Silver Beach all the time, which is a short bike ride away. Overall great stay!
