I would love to pass my heartfelt thanks to every staff at Vacation Village Phra Nang Inn for their service & hospitality that are going above and beyond professional responsibilities. I and my son stay at Phra Nang Inn during the COVID-19 outbreak and I can feel that the staff are well treated and so they pay it forward to their customers. I personally enjoy its convenient location, green space, and refreshing pool very much. I hope the COVID-19 outbreak will end very soon, and that tourists around the world can visit Ao Nang again, and stay at this hotel that has very beautiful home-like environment. I strongly recommend this hotel and will definitely return for the next pleasant stay in the near future

Been going there since I was a kid!”

I've been going to the Phra Nang Inn since I was a small kid with my parents on family vacations. Now that I am older, it is still my favorite beach getaway. the hotel is lovely, comfortable, rustic, and homey! The staff friendly and helpful most of the time ;) The hotel restaurant was the biggest disappointment - the food is so-so, the pricing is questionably high, and the portions wimpy even for Thai standards! The location of the hotel is quite wonderful - right on the beach and across the street from most of the over-developed strip mall. It is insane to see how this quiet quaint little beach town has evolved into an over-developed strip mall beach town like all the others. Nonetheless, the charm of the Phra Nang Inn still capture the charm and appeal of the small beach town of Ao Nang's past! Overall - Phra Nang Inn is still one of my favorite beach getaways and my vacation spot of choice!

Value for money”

Phra nang inn was quite a pleasant surprise given that we booked pretty cheap rates through agoda. We initially got a deluxe room on the 4th floor but our balcony has no barrier (?!) so we requested for a change. We got the deluxe pool access room which was really great. Clean, comfy, with the pool within reach. Location is really a plus because it is situated right at ao nang town from the entrance, while the back door faces the beach. With the town and beach within walking distance, there is really nothing much to ask for. This also made booking of island/adventure tours within reach as the agency was just few doors down! Beach bars are all within reach. In terms of service, we really want to thank the service staff over there. We managed to spice up their lives with all our demanding (but unintentional!) requests like changing of rooms, forgetting sth in our old room, safe couldn't work, n having locked out of our room. :( the staff were all very helpful and friendly. Spa wise was also a pleasant surprise. Given that this is only 3star, we had our spa sessions in really clean and conducive environment. Many little details were meticulous, from the flower petals in the water, to big n clean robes to change into, and nice, relaxing music. These may not even be found in Singapore when we pay twice the price! All in all, a hotel worth visiting!

Great Location and Breakfast”

This was my second stay at Phra Nang Inn Hotel and I was just as satisfied as I was the first time. The hotel has probably the best location on Ao Nang. The hotel is about 20 feet from the ocean and right in the middle of the main strip of restaurants and shops so one never has to go far. The rooms are nicely decorated and the housekeeping staff cleans and stocks them quickly (normally before I even come back from breakfast). The breakfast is very good (bacon, ham, various breads, french toast, eggs-to-order, fried rice, breakfast potatoes, baked tomatoes, etc.) and the view from the tables looks out onto the beach. The pool is shaded at various parts and is very pretty. I have stayed at other locations in Ao Nang but this is my favorite, especially for the price. I would recommend staying here. Those who complain are probably too new to Southeast Asia to really know what the word "bad" really means here. This is certainly a nice hotel.

Just a stone's throw to the Beach”

pra nang inn is located just across from beach at ao nang, no more than 5 metres away and you are on a gentle sloping long white sand beach stretching for around 1.5km. the hotel has nice rooms with hot showers, air-conditioning and tv. this is our second time at the hotel and on both occassions we found the staff to be very friendly with a good sense of humour. the pool area is very nice with a long pool which is well shaded by the hotel complex on either side and trees. there are also plenty of recliners to relax, sunbake or read a book. each time we booked breakfast as part of our package and were not dissapointed with a good buffet selection and eggs cooked to your liking. the restaurant over looks the beach and is just lovely at sunset. surrounding the hotel are a plethera a restaurants offering indian, italian, mexican, european and of course thai food. we never really had a bad meal and the prices are very reasonable. also lots of shopping around for those with the desire and of course don't forget to bargain. overall we enjoyed our stay at the phra nang inn and ao nang.

Strategic Location - Phra Nang Inn Hotel”

This is my 1st time to Krabi together with 4 other friends. We booked 2 rooms and our request of having it joined together was fulfilled. The location of the hotel is right in the middle of Ao Nang and almost accessible to everything by foot (no need for extra expenses on taxis). If possible, book the rooms together with breakfast so that you can get an early start in Krabi by having b'fast at the hotel before heading out to the island or any of your activities. Behind the hotel, there is an open-air massage area. Do give it a try. The staffs at the hotel were very helpful in many ways and I will definitely come back to Phra Nang Inn during my next visit.

Decent hotel in great Location”

ao nang gets a lukewarm review from lonely planet describing it as good transport hub for the island resorts. well it is a great location and the phra nang inn is in the best location in ao nang, on the sea front next to the long tail boat dock and away from the main road. ao nang's beach and sea front has a lot to recommend it and there are good eating places and plenty of shops. the phra nang pool area is great for relaxing and the breakfasts are excellent. the staff are really friendly and the rooms are perfectly ok. rai lay is just a 10 minute boat ride and a day trip to the hong islands is a great day out.

Phra Nang Inn.Location, location, location”

The Phra Nang Inn is located at the corner of Ao Nang Beach, just beside the boat ramp, which is the jump off point for all boat trips leaving Ao Nang. Convenient. Its not noisy, despite that, and it has a nice pool for the kids to enjoy, while you chill out to live music after a day out playing. The restaurants are all around the hotel, and you can find pretty much any type of food you want within a 5-10 minute walk. A 15 minute walk up the gentle hill on the right (away from the beach) will net you cheap, and good food, like Boat Noodles or reasonably priced seafood. Right outside the hotel is a lady offering laundry at 35baht a kilo. Look for the sign. The rooms are a little smaller than what I expect, but fully equipped and very comfortable. The one I got, had a bath tub in the bedroom that you are expected to soak in enjoy the complementary scrubs and mixes that are supplied. My sons in the other room used theirs every night. The hotel travel desk lady can get you any type of trip or transport Ao Nang has to offer. Its all good. I dont think you will have too much to complain about if you stay there. Of course the rooms could be larger, the prices could be lower, etc etc, but frankly, its a good combination of all things, and its a institution in and of itself in Ao Nang. Its pretty much on the beach. Just cross the walk way and you're on the beach.

Overall Was Great!”

Went to Krabi on a 4 days 3 nights stay at Phra Nang Inn and I would say it was overall very great experience staying in Phra Nang Inn! Had to be late for check-in due to my flight delay but the staffs at the hotel remain helpful & immediately arranged a room for us. The location is extremely convenient with a 7-11 just opposite where you can get mostly everything you need at an affordable price.*AVOID the shop beside the ally of the 7-11, RUDE ATTITUDE!!!!* Restaurants all are at nearby and the Krabi Night Market is just a 10 mins walk away. Cleanliness is good & I just love how friendly and helpful the staffs are to us! Had a splendid trip and stay at here! Thanks!

Friendly and Lively admostphere....”

My stay at Phra Nang Inn Hotel was memorable and comfortable.... we feel at home away from with friendly staff.... I would recommend this place to families with older children as at times nearby clubs can be a bit loud.... Its a no issue for me because i pack my days full of activities hence to tired to even notice the clubs..... In room Wifi is present but i suggest you use the library if you had to use a faster or more connected Internet... We had Breakfast for the first 2 days was impressed with the spread on the first day but cant say the same for the next day .... Being a Muslim family shall i say its not halal friendly.... For the rest of our stay i opted to buy my breakfast outside and have it room... Our stay was made special thanks to the reception by the name Rich always cheerful and helpful.. Thanks Phra Nang Inn....

Good value for money beachfront hotel”

It was my first time to visit Krabi and I'm glad I stayed at Phra Nang Inn. I had a pleasant stay at the Phra Nang Inn. Checking in was a breeze. My room was big enough and clean and the spa-themed room that I got was really great! There was plenty enough of choices for breakfast though it's the same stuff everyday. Hotel is very close to the beach, i.e., only separated by a walkway. This was why I chose the hotel in the first place. As a bonus, a lot of shops and restaurants are within walking distance from the hotel. The staff are warm and friendly.

Having looked at the satellite shot of Ao Nang beach, I noticed that from most hotels you have to cross a busy road to get to the beach... so my goal was to find a place right on the beach, and there's not many of them. We were very satisfied with our choice of Phra Nang Inn. Nice big room with big shower cabin, balcony overlooking the pool and Big! Comfy! chairs there for the afternoon tea and reading - we just loved them. Nice beach, although at low tide the sea is up to your knee for 200-300 metres, but it is easy to time your swimming. Very good spa at hotel - recommended for massage, not the cheap nothing from the girls down the road, but a real one! Would stay there again.

We reserved Phra Nang Inn on a whim, needing a place to stay in Ao Nang as we made our way from the islands. We were surprised at how helpful and friendly the staff was. We're still not sure why, but we were offered the Honeymoon suite for the same price as the deluxe we reserved and they let us stay there even when we extended our reservation of another night (at deluxe rate). Staff was very nice.. Room was clean and spacious (for Thailand and the price point). Breakfast was fine, with a nice ocean view. Highly recommend..

Phra Nang Inn Hotel”

Considering the price and the location, I think this place is excellent. When I vacation, I prefer smaller inns compared to mega-complexes because it allows me to feel like I'm in a different part of the world. This place definately allows me to feel like I'm in Thailand compared with another non-descript hotel room. The "spa" in the room is just a large bath tub, but surprisingly fun. They also provide various scrubs and thai-massage items for you to try. Not much nightlife in Ao Nang beach compared to Patong, however, the price for a 6 hour snorkeling trip to Phi Phi and surrounding areas is 1/3 the price from Patong! Can't wait to get back during the high-season to try the night snorkeling with the glow-in-the-dark plankton. Haven't tried other places in Krabi, but will definately return here next time. Completely satisfied.

Very nice staff, beautiful location, amazing beach.”

Landed on Saturday, took a taxi from the airport 400baht to ao nang beach Phra nang inn, I had booked the superior room, the room wasn't good no hot water working, locker wasnt working, but the staff was very kind they moved me to a bigger and better room the very next day. Enjoyed my stay alot especially during this season of no tourists. Amazing beach, amazing people at krabi, lots and lots of peace for mind and body.

A jewel in Ao Nang”

Our 7th time to Ao Nang and second to the Phra Nang Inn Hotel. Situated within metres of the beach and centrally located to the restaurants and shopping stalls of Ao Nang, this is a beautiful small Hotel. The staff are extremely efficient, very friendly and always polite. My wife and I enjoyed the shaded pool and lying on the beach beds, dozing and sipping cold beers. The breakfast was awesome, and the meals we took at the bar and at lunches were delicious. 10 out of 10 - we'll be back.

A perfect location”

We stayed at Phra Nang Inn in October for 5 nights in a Deluxe room and had a great time. The rooms were kept clean and a good size for the price. Our room was on the road side of the hotel on the 2nd floor, but we did not notice too much traffic noise - we expected some, but it was more than fine. Our balcony overlooked the pool and was spacious - the balconies of each room are not seperated and therefore not private, but this didn't present any problems for us. I liked that they had a 2nd small pool where we could relax in peace if we didn't feel like dealing with kids. Breakfast was adequate and provided most things that we required - toast, omelette, eggs, cereal, fruit etc. The location was perfect with the beach, shops and restaurants at your doorstep. There are many restaurants, bars and shops along the beach road and the road that goes up the hill, so you are never far from everything you could possibly need. Ao Nang in general is a beautiful place. The beach is not as good as some other places in Thailand, but it does have monkeys on the far end of the beach for something different. Did a Kong Island day tour which is perfect if you want time to relax on some beautiful island beaches.

Lovely hotel with great staff and perfect location”

We are a family from Norway that stayed in AoNang at Phra Nang Inn for two weeks. We had a lovely stay and will recommend the hotel to other quests. The best thing about Phra Nang Inn is the friendly staff and the good location. I already miss waking up and walking down to the hotel restaurant for a nice breakfast and a view over the beach. I think the hotels facilities are in good shape, but some of the rooms may be a little old. We had a deluxe room at the spa wing which was nice and clean and very quiet. The rooms are a bit small, so if you are a family with three or more people I would try a family room. That said, I hope you will enjoy the stay at Phra Nang Inn as much as we did.

Great Location”

we enjoyed the room decoration very much with the spa-tub in the room, very unique! this hotel located near to the beach and easy access to everywhere in ao nang or krabi. the staffs is very friendly and helpful, nice pools and very calm at night. the weather was very good and the food served was also very nice. even though there were many spas around the area, the spa centre in phra nang provide a perfect place to relax and to get a great thai message with well trained staffs.

Great location and staff!”

I recently went to Phra Nang Inn Hotel and had a wonderful stay. The staff was friendly and accomdating. I booked 2 nights through agoda and decided to stay an extra 2 nights. Without asking, they matched the agoda price. They also suggested I take the bus from the airport, as it's cheaper and stops in front of the hotel, instead of their shuttle. The room was spotless, strange the bathtub was in the room with the beds. As I have a young daughter who needs to be supervised in the tub, I rather liked it. The hotel is just across the way from the beach. You can enjoy a view of the beach as you eat breakfast. While the beach in front of the hotel is public, it seems rather private since it's away from the main drag. I would recommend this hotel to friends. We had a great experience. I've lived in Thailand for 3 years and traveled extensively and the service here was by far the best!
