“great resort”

Big room, great view (river side); but the balcony needs some cleaning. Wifi connection is not good despite the fact that somebody came to fix the router. Breakfast is good. Walking to the dam is about a mile.

You need a car to get here. Closeby is nothing. Pin point location is completely wrong, it is actually in a much better location alongside the river, that is fed from the dam, and where you can do some rafting for beginners. The price I paid with breakfast included was really a bargain for a good resort

Hotel has nice reception area & restaurant, gardens and pool. However, staff were un-cooperative with a booking query about the room upon arrival and wanted proof of how much I had paid for the room...these details are not on the agoda hotel voucher, not a problem I had encountered anywhere else!

“descent resort but noise ruined it”

rooms were very clean and a good size. good location but the thing that killed it was the oppressive, constant & deafening heavy bass music being blasted from the neighbouring public carpark & picnic area next to the river. music started before 7am and continued on until after 11pm at night. contacted the hotel duty manager, who said that they were aware of the problem but did not want to approach the neighbours for fear of upsetting them !!!! well, guess what, this music will upset your profits once guests start leaving. swimming pool was nice but provided absolutely no shade, no towels, no service, no staff on duty. a couple of mouldy plastic chairs were strewn around the pool, but no proper seating or relaxation areas, not to mention the sunburn. all in all, a good place to avoid.
