Loved Prana Resprts Samui!”

We stayed in Koh Samui for 3 nights at Prana Resorts Samui & the hotel was perfect!!! We had a beachfront room overlooking Gulf of Thailand & the infinity pool. Can't even begin to say how much we loved the resort. Everything from the facility, food, service, free breakfast, 2 for 1 happy hour from 4-6 pm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we walked down the beach for 2 nights & ate at Chi next door and Yui's down the beach a bit but within 7 minutes away. Service and staff were excellent! If you are looking to relax & get away from the hustle & bustle of Phuket or Krabi, definitely choose Koh Samui, it's a gorgeous island with plenty to do Chaweng Beach & town not far. Fisherman's Village little over a mile away. Friday nights the resort offers free one way shuttle for the night market. Thanks Prana resorts, we will be sure to highly recommend your resort to everyone we know who are visiting Koh Samui in the future.

Perfect getaway spot”

Felt like meeting new friends when we met the staff. Lots of little friendly laughs, they always did everything to make us feel welcome and wanted. The place itself was in a much more relaxed part of Koh Samui - Bo Phut, which on the flipside did mean a little bit more travel to Chaweng, but thankfully not too far away to make the transit a chore. The room was luxurious, the bed comfy (I took a photo of the mattress label as I am going to try find one for home) Breakfast was an epic feast, and at lunch and dinner the hotel restaurants put on great meals and very well priced cocktails, one of the restaurants being in front of the beach infinity pool, and the other on the roof, with another bar actually inside the main pool. All in all, if you are looking for a holiday retreat that you don't want to go out to town partying all the time, this is the 100% perfect place.

Fantastic”

We (family with 4yo and 1.5yo kids) really enjoyed our 4 nights at Prana Resort Koh Samui. We stayed in connected rooms on the first floor with direct access to the pool, which was very convenient. Firstly, the personnel is really friendly and very helpful, also fond of kids. Although there is no babysitting option, our kids enjoyed the well equipped kids club/play room. As parents we could really appreciate the different options (rooftop bar/beach restaurant) to have dinner after the kids had gone to bed. They also have a good kids menu by the way, pasta carbonara was very tasty! Especially the pool at the resort is kid friendly, with some shallow ends and 2 shallow pools next to it (while the parents sip their cocktails at the pool bar :-) ) The beach infinity pool is beautiful, but needs more attention when traveling with small ones. The beach out front is lovely as well! Course yellow sand and sea is slowly getting deeper for the kids.

Perfect place for families with young children”

The resort deserves 4 stars. It is perfect place to stay for chill and relax holidays. Stuff is very professional and very friendly. I would recommend families with kids to stay there for a long stay. We have been ther for 8 nights and we were sorry regretting to leave. There is room for kids which our boys in pre-shool age enjoyed and activities you can book and have your kids out of your head :) There was a road between the hotel and the beach where you could find thai massage, car rental, laundry service, bars, 7-eleven, money exchange, street food, red lights, restaurants and everything needed for tourist. Beach in April was completely empty and very quiet and just for our own, with nice sand , no noisy boats at all. Hotel has nice pool in the center of estate with nice happy hour drinks. Breakfasts were really nice and changing every day. Our kids always found something interesting. Prana Resort Samui was our best stay in 4-week journey around Thailand. Get relaxed here!

Amazing resort with the best staff”

We had the most amazing stay at Prana Resort. We have visited Samui many times over the years and i can safely say that this is the best hotel/resort that we have ever stayed in. The resort is lovely and the rooms very nice. I travelled with my wife and our 6 month old baby. We had requested a cot to be available before we arrived and were happy to see this already in the room. Not only this though, they had provided a baby bath and electronic steriliser as well. No other hotel we have stayed in provided these extra items. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and the staff are so attentive. We were treated like royalty. The breakfast is amazing. It has everything from cereal to salad, fruit, breads, cakes, many juices, all the ingredients for a good old fry up, thai options too and an egg and dim sum station. We ate breakfast every day and this filled us up until the evening. Thank you guys at Prana. We had the best time thanks to you and we can't wait to come back.

Magical! ”

We didn't want to leave our little piece of paradise at Prana. It is more beautiful in person than in the photos! Room was beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed our balcony overlooking the pool. Very convenient shuttles to the Fisherman's Village and reliable van service. Breakfast buffet is excellent! With a variety of Western and Asian options - you cannot go wrong! The fruit was always fresh, coffee delicious, and the omelettes cooked to perfection. I was also surprised at how good the french toast was! Their private beachside was sooo nice! Very quiet and peaceful - you can swim and lay on the beach without being crowded. Staff was very helpful, approachable, and a pleasure to work with. Overall, if we are back in Koh Samui we are staying at Prana! Would highly recommend!!

An excellent 4 stars resort in Koh Samui”

We have spent 2 weeks in this hotel in Bo Phut and we are very thankful for this beautiful stay in Koh Samui. At the arrival the staff welcomed us with some fresh towels, a drink and some flower bracelets. Also we have really appreciated the support of the staff during our holidays. After the first night, we asked the desk team to find a solution because our room was located at the first floor, in a corridor where the noise of the air-conditioning was disturbing and therefore it was difficult for us to sleep in this room. The staff was really professional and immediately moved us to another room which was located in the other side and more quiet. The room was excellent. It was cleaned on a daily basis, even when we left the room after 2pm. The hotel has 2 fantastic pools, 1 in front of the rooms and another 1 in front of the beach. The whole team of the desk, the cleaning and the breakfast are the most professional, friendly and kind people ever. Thank you a lot !!

Excellent Service and Quality”

We loved our stay at Prana Resorts Samui. We try and keep our reviews as honest as possible, when we stay at different resorts on our travels. Prana delivered on quality, personality of the staff, whom my wife adored, and the overall experience, which was very positive overall. I want to thank the Manager Lissa, personally, and her staff, for making us feel like special guests. The breakfast, the location, the comfort and quality of our room, was superlative. Excellent Pool Access Room”

Friendly staff. Small gym, nice pool. Food is just ok. Spa is good. Free shuttle to Fisherman's village but only one way at 6pm on Mon, Wed & Fri. Also free shuttle to Choeng Mon & Chaweng Beach at 10am or 2pm and the return time is 2:30pm or 4:30pm. The location is bit remote and their beach club is currently under renovation. Base on the price and their services, I highly recommend Prana Resort Samui.

Prana Resorts Samui”

Nice hotel, a little bit smaller than expected from photos but still very nice. The infinity pool on the beach is actually over the road at the Prana Beach Villas- you can use it, but be aware it's over the road and isn't part of the actual complex. Dinner was expensive and I'd definitely recommend going elsewhere on the island for it. The beach is okay, but there are incredible beaches on Koh Samui I'd recommend getting a taxi to for the day instead. Not the best hotel for seeing Koh Samui or experiencing the luxury of it, but great for the price.

Amazing staff - and resort”

We stayed at Prana Resort for one week. We celebrated my aunts 50th birthday. The staff helped us set up a surprise for her upon arrival, it was beyond all expectations! The resort is amazing; THE best staff, clean rooms, fantastic breakfast, stunning infinity pool, great restaurant (however a bit expensive) and great spa treatments. The staff is genuinely nice, and will do anything to make your stay perfect. They communicate very well in English. The only "downside" was the location, the street is quiet and does not have a lot of options, however you will find some restaurants (recommend "Noi friendly" for cheap and superb thai food), massage shops, 7 eleven etc. within 5 minute walking distance. It takes about 10 minutes with taxi to Fishermans village (~200 TBH each way). We booked another resort for our second week (prior to arrival), and was very sad to leave Prana Resort. The next resort was a dissappointment compared to Prana. We would definitely come back.

WOW! A must stay! ”

What an amazing hotel! Would recommend Prana Resort Samui to anyone. The staff were very friendly and professional, willing to assist with any questions or tour bookings we had. We stayed in one of the Beachside Villas, and it was beautiful and luxurious! Their breakfast offering is out of this world. Wonderful hotel, I would go back there tomorrow.

Exceptional”

Hospitable and caring staff at check-in, pristine swimming pools, good food, great cocktail list, FAST room service, no 'other room' noise, great massage in spa (with 'Nong'), they have these cute fellows out front directing traffic to let you pass to the other side of the road safely (in the night the Samui local youth drive like they are possessed). Good breakfast bar. I recommend coffee plungers rather than that yucky pod coffee - which tastes utterly horrid and are very bad for the environment. I recommend having water refill stations around the resort so that people can refill their Prana water bottles if they choose to, rather than producing all that waste of plastic bottles. I loved the lemongrass oil warmer in the room.

Exceptional”

Prana Resort was overall an amazing experience! We rented a deluxe pool access room, and it's definitely recommended since it is very convenient, cozy and has a luxurious feeling as well. (the pool has also a direct access to a bar!) It was very clean and bathroom shower has also direct access to the pool area. The hotel is located close to Fisherman's village and Chaweng beach, which is very convenient if you want to go out, explore the island itself and have fun. Resort has an amazing restaurants (two) with very good food. Also, they offer free daily shuttle rides to Fisherman's village, but the time schedule was not really ideal, so we recommend renting a motor bike since it's the easiest to go around the island whenever and wherever you want. Staff in the hotel is very nice and approachable, they were always ready to help and make our stay pleasant. We also enjoyed infinity pool on the beach side, massages at spa. Would definitely recommend Prana resort.

Excellent Mid-Priced Hotel at Koh Samui”

Very glad we stayed at Prana. Starting with the positives. It felt like a very recently built property. Very modern, clean and well put together. The hotel staff were super friendly and accommodating. Appreciated the happy hour offerings. For what is not a huge property, the facilities were admirable - pool, spa, small gym, and rooftop bar. We got what turned out to be a great choice in getting the direct pool access room, which allows you access from both your bedroom or the shower. Only minuses would be that it's not the most spacious of resorts. Also, location left you desiring more. Although we found a great local restaurant nearby, the real places of interest at Koh Samui are a bit far off. This location was helpful for us though because of proximity to the diving company we booked with.

Exceptional”

Brilliant hotel, very beautiful. We had a pool access room which was amazing, very convenient. Good breakfast too. Only complaint was that there were a few cockcroaches around the hotel but the resort management acknowledged this and dealt with it accordingly. Free transport to Chaweng and Choeng Mon beaches were available. We stayed in two resorts during our stay in Koh Samui, the other being at Chaweng beach - It would have been the perfect trip if this hotel was located at Chaweng beach. There are food options in walking distance but not that many. Would recommend for sure.

Paradise”

My party of 3 arrived late in the evening and were greeted with big smiles in a beautiful setting. The main entrance is architecturally beautiful and love their use of bamboo. Our room was on the main hotel (not the villas which were across the street on the beach). The room was spacious for three people as we had a king size bed + a rollaway bed. We had a balcony overlooking one of the pools (access to 2 pools), the complimentary breakfast was delicious with a plethora of food, and their spa was lovely. The hotel was a short taxi ride to Fisherman's Village which had cute shops and plenty of restaurants with amazing views of the beach. I loved my time in Koh Samui and this resort made it that much more amazing. Not only would I recommend this hotel but I want to go back. Paradise indeed.

Amazing Resort but far away”

This resort was fantastic - great value for what you're getting. Bed was huge, bathrooms nice, lots of nice touches like turning on a diffuser with citronella oil before you arrive. Great breakfast. Beach front is a bit average and we didn't swim there. Pools and grounds are great. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only problem was that it was quite far from the action, and taxis are an absolute rip off in Koh Samui (300-400 baht even for 5 minute trips) - you'll need to get a scooter. Would stay again.

Great value for money”

We got exactly what we wanted. Praha is a very nice resort on the more secluded beach bang rak. If you are looking to be more directly in the action, chaweng beach is probably a better place for you to stay. Prank does offer a one way taxi service to chaweng at 6pm for 100bhat per person to enjoy the night life if you would like to go. The spa was really nice and great prices! We got a massage and got a second because we enjoyed it so much. there were a lot of flies but I think that could be an issue on the whole island not just Prana. We were a little peeved about the 10% service charge in everything at the resort. We asked the front desk what exactly it was for and they did not know. Also the food overall was good but at times it varied day by day. We had pad Thai three times and each time it was distinctly different. Once it was excellent, once it was good, and once (room service) it was bad. Overal we really enjoyed our stay at prana. We didn't get a villa on the beach or the rooms in the ground floor that open directly pool but those may be things we try at our next visit!
