Hotel is old and could be better maintained. Beside the open swimming pool and jacuzzi, the spacious hotel lobby has little to offer beside several old tables and chairs (that have seen better times), couple of sofas, fans and complimentary coffee/tea with hot water boiler and a glass bottle of local biscuits. The room was relatively clean. We were assigned a room when we arrived around 12:30pm - a pleasant surprise. We were informed we had to change room two days later as we had 2 separate bookings and because the assigned room was a complimentary Deluxe room upgrade (while we booked the Superior room) that we were not informed at check in. We had no issue of moving to the booked Superior room but just a hassle. Anyway we prefer the Superior room as it felt larger, has a more spacious enclosed terrace (no view) and a bathtub - the Deluxe room has more digital channels. There are many eateries, both local and upclass, around the hotel. Short walk to Tae Phae Gate / Old Town; also a 24x7 coin laundry walking distance at the moat. There is also a small grocery at the petrol kiosk across the road junction. We also walked to the night markets and Pantip Lifestyle Mall most days/nights. Housekeeping can provide fresh towels and bottled drinks as well making the bed with fresh linens daily. So a comfortable stay.
Hotel is a 10 minute walk to the old town so is fairly quiet. Close to 7-11, cafes & restaurants and walkable to the old town and tourist attractions. Rooms are great with nice balcony, great bathroom, water pressure could be better but ok. Bed comfortable, great cold fridge, tv. Water supplied each day. Pool area is a bit run down with lounge lounges having seen better days.
15 minute walk from everything. Good comfortable clean bed, full size apartment fridge, good shower with hot water and a full size balcony. Large pool and smaller pool available 24 7 in clean quiet area. I had the do not disturb sign on my door and they still left 2 full bottles of water daily by my door. 10/10 Can't beat it. Highly recommend
Read separate review of our first stay. We booked and prefer the Superior room on 4th floor (accessible by the same lift) to the higher priced Deluxe room on the 2nd floor. We asked for late checkout to 4pm and was told complimentary late checkout to 1pm then 100thb per hour only to 4pm - reasonable late checkout out by the hour. Beyond 4pm would be a full day booking. In the end we could only extend to 2pm as the hotel was apparently fully booked, which we understand. The young man at the front desk who speaks good English is also very friendly and with good customer service. However the young woman staff who was usually at the front desk and also understands English but has poor customer service. Hopefully she learns to provide better guest service in the hospitality industry.

“I went on a trip with my pet.”
Traveling with pets is not easy... I came thinking about a long trip for a few months, but there aren't many accommodations that allow pets, and many places were fully booked. Originally, I thought I could find a place to stay quickly, so I only made a few days of reservations. When I wanted to extend my stay, the pet room was fully booked, so I moved to Prince Hotel. First of all, the room I initially booked was small, so I paid an extra fee. By the way, the Prince Hotel charges 200 baht per night for pets. It's reasonably priced compared to other hotels. Some places don't charge extra for pets, and some charge 100 baht per night, but either the location was unclear or I wasn't satisfied with the accommodation condition. The exterior of the Prince Hotel looks like a really old hotel. The reception area and the locks on the hallway and room doors feel vintage. They told me there is only one key since it's a traditional key. Still, there were no major issues for a week. The room was huge. The living room and bedroom were separate and there were kitchen facilities, making it easy to cook simple meals. But the room I initially booked was small; I ended up paying extra for what I think was a family room. The balcony was spacious, the room was wide, and everything was great. However, the wooden floor had some creaky spots, but personally, it was fine for me. The reason I deducted a star is that the floor was very dirty. I don't think many guests had stayed in the room I was in. The cleaning was done very thoroughly. Since I was staying with my pet, I tended to clean more diligently, so that might be it. The pool seemed to be well maintained compared to other places I've seen; I noticed maintenance staff regularly clearing away leaves and such. Overall, the pool facilities were okay. I personally really liked the location. There were many nearby coffee shops with great coffee. Also, there was a fruit market nearby and right in front of the hotel, there was a gas station with a Lotus convenience store. And there was a currency exchange, Mr. Pierre, close by. The location isn’t bad for going to the old town either. The staff were all very friendly, and I had a good time there. Since I had only one key, I often forgot and had to come back to have someone let me in, but they always kindly helped me. And I'm not sure if the hotel has a house cat, but a very cute cat followed me into the room, haha. It followed me without hesitation, so I gave it two treats before sending it away. When my pet stared at it, it ran away. Overall, I found it personally acceptable, but it wouldn't be suitable if you're expecting a modern hotel. Oh! And there were ants outside on the balcony. These little guys are different from Korean ants; their waists are very thin, they're brown, and have small bodies, so they probably come into the room easily. Upon researching, I found they are ghost ants. Fortunately, they were only visible from the balcony and not in the room.
