This place is outstanding...”
Qiu Hotel Sukhumvit – Just Outstanding I’ve found my “Diamond” in the rough… At $35.00 U.S. Dollars “all in” including taxes and booking fees, the Qiu has hit the top of my list in this price range, for the Sukhumvit area of Bangkok. Hands down the cleanest room we’ve had anywhere so far in Bangkok. Great pool, western restaurant, cocktails, massage spa at 200 baht per hour, right next door. I could throw a rock at the BTS metro train station, it’s that close. Top’s grocery and about 20 different western restaurants within a 5-minute walk. Full size mall across the street. And to finish my thoughts on this place, at least a hundred food stalls for street food, next to the On Nut BTS train station a two-minute walk away. The staff bent over backwards to get us in a room early (9:30 AM) as we were running away from a nightmare hotel that we stayed at the night before. My hat is off to these guys… If I’m ever here in the Suhkumvit area waiting for a plane and just need a cost-effect

Always enjoy returning to the Qiu Hotel Sukhumvit !”
I have now stayed at the Qiu Hotel Sukhumvit a total of 6 times and always enjoy returning here. The hotel has very quiet, clean and comfortable rooms. Location is only a 2 minute walk to the On Nut BTS station and the large Tesco Lotus Superstore including a good value food court. The Qiu Hotel is very good value and the staff are friendly and helpful. I look forward to returning to the Qiu Hotel Sukhumvit soon. Highly recommended !

Good Value For Money Hotel and so close to the BTS !”
We have stayed several times at the Qiu Hotel Sukhumvit. Location is perfect only 2 minutes walk to the On Nut BTS Skytrain station. The rooms are comfortable with a very large bed. The air con works well and Wi Fi signal is strong. Breeakfast is modest but adequate for the price charged. Staff are friendly and are very helpful. Highly recommended !

Great short stay”
I was pleasantly surprised by Qiu Hotel. The reception is a bit dated and could use a spruce up. The inside of the hotel is actually really modern and super clean. Our room was spacious and clean with tea/coffee, hairdryer etc. The bed was so comfortable and the hotel was lovely and quiet. The staff seem pleasant and efficient. The breakfast is basic, but this is a value option and as value hotels go Qiu is excellent. Very near BTS and 7/11. I didnt get chance to try the gym, but I like that people are encouraged to hang out around the pool and snooker table in the evening. It feels social and welcoming without creating noise to bother people once they are in their rooms.

A Value for Money Option”
We two families (6 PAX) stayed in Qiu Hotel in last week for 4 days. Location - 9/10 - Very Near to On Nut BTS. Very near to a 7 Eleven Shop Breakfast - 9/10 - Very Decent and Enough Quantity. But no change in menu, all days they serve same items Facilities - 7/10 - Rooms are OK, but not big one. Swimming Pool size is ok. But water is over chlorinated, otherwise I would rate it as 9/10 Staff - 9/10 - Very Friendly Process - 5/10 - Charge is high for early check in. Food - 8/10 - Quality is good, but price is little high. We are from India. We recommend this hotel. And we may stay here again. --Sudip Ghosh (+91 9874676886)

The best Hotel i've ever stayed in Bangkok.”
Very near to Bts just 2 mins walking distance from BTS On Nut Station. Its very easy to go to this hotel. Stop at BTS On Nut Station, Take exit 1 go down the stairs turn left at the escalator side then go straight until u see 7-eleven store. There's a massage shop beside the 7-eleven store n then u can see already the hotel. This hotel is a same row with 7-eleven store & massage shop. Dont get confused this hotel already changed to a new name, Qiu Hotel but still they didn't change the old sign which is The Green Bells. I really love stay at this hotel their service & facilities are the best! The room & hotel are so clean. I also love the swimming pool & gym. I really enjoyed my stayed!

A Small, but Good Hotel!”
Close to the BTS, with food and theatre malls nearby, and its own excellent facilities (swimming pool, exercise area, pool table), the Qiu Hotel is a choice during your stay in Bangkok. They have updated their rooms since my last stay here in May, which made my stay more enjoyable this time. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay - really close to BTS (metro)”
This is a great place to stay for a quick weekend trip to Bangkok or for longer stays. We had booked the Standard Fountain side room for 1000 Baht (~$30). The room is a good size with a queen size bed. The bath room is quite large with a nice shower and second bath tub / shower unit. Each room comes with a DVD player and the hotel has hundreds of DVDs free for use in case you have a night in. The swimming pool area is a good size (hard to find in Bangkok) and it is well maintained. The hotel is about 2 blocks from the BTS (BKK skytrain metro system) so you can travel in Bangkok really easily. Right next to BTS there are two food stall areas with good food and some shopping. The second of the food markets (walking down the street from the BTS) has two good bars with live music and the prices for food and drinks are really cheap. Come night time, there are three really good food vendors across the street from the side street that the hotel is one. In addition, there is a supermarket across the street from the BTS is needed. Since our original stay in Dec 2013 we have been back to this hotel 3x for Bangkok weekends.

A night in Bangkok ”
As business travelers the Qiu was perfect for our location and needs Added bonus was a great variety at the breakfast buffet The central pool was a great touch too Staff amazing kind and attentive in every way. I’d looked at the top 5 hotels in BK which ranged from £130 to £300 and whilst you get restaurants and valet and chandlers, from arrival and taxi doors being opened, baggage carried, check in, departures and calling taxis for all journeys I am booking again for tomorrow night as I return to Bangkok for a few more meetings. On the BTS line too which is convenient .

Good, on Skytrain outside downtown tourist sites.”
The hotel is a very good value for those who don't want to be at sightseeing area of old Bangkok. It is a convenience to be near the Skytrain (BTS), but this was the last stop on the south side until recently expanded. It is a long BTS ride for the major sites to see and the trains are very crowded at times. If you avoid the 'rush hours', it is ok. So if you want to be on the south side, closer to the airport than the Grand Palace etc, the location has a lot to offer besides sightseeing. There are markets, department stores, malls, street food, restaurants etc. My location rating is 5 stars for non sightseeing visitors. Closer to the airport than central old City. It was previously the Green Bells Hotel, On Nut, Sukhumvit. New owners have changed many things. The Breakfast is good but way different. It is a serve yourself buffet with lots of options, and also has an eggs cooked to order bar. They have an espresso bar but expensive. The free coffee is the kind that sits on the burner getting bitter. They often make a new pot leaving the bad old coffee in the pot which makes the whole pot taste old and burned. The kitchen staff are lovely but I think they don't drink coffee and don't understand the details. It needs to be made and put in insulated thermos dispensers. The swimming pool is very nice. If only there were not fools sitting all around the pool area smoking cigarettes. They provide chairs and ash trays just outside the pool side rooms and outside the lobby. I like the pool side but cannot stay in those rooms with people smoking right outside my room.

A Hidden Gem”
From the main road, Sukhumvit, you can see the hotel in the middle of the block. The street up to the hotel will not win an award for architecture, but there is a small grocery story, and two restaurants (neither of one I have eaten in). The hotel looks like it is right out of the sixties, but looks can be deceiving. The lobby has a glass wall overlooking the pool which is spotless. The hotel itself is a square surrounding the swimming pool. The rooms all surround the swimming pool. My room was on the pool level with a sliding door. The rooms are a decent size with king size beds. There is a led TV with some English programming. The bathroom contains a shower and a bathtub, again all spotless. There is also a closet and some drawers. The furniture is old but very well maintained. Air con is very good. Surrounding the pool are urns of flowers. At night the urns are lit up as is the pool and neon lighting around the pool. Great for an evening swim. The staff is very friendly and tries to be helpful, however, their English is spotty. I didn't find this a problem. You also receive a free breakfast, which varies from day to day, but is always filling. You are also given vouchers for one dinner snack a night per room. Its very tasty. I am afraid to say to many good things about this place for fear I will never be able to book it again.

Ideal location”
Green Bells is changing its name to Qui hotel, while we were there they were renovating several areas, but this had no affect on guests, the breakfast was more than adequate and the omelette cooked to order were delicious, The hotel is situated down a side street just off sukhumvit road soi 79 and is about 100 metre walk to On Nut Bts station, and about half an hour by taxi from the airport ( depending on traffic) The staff were all really friendly and were helpful to gusts with questions of where to go or how best to get somewhere. My children loved the pool and the fact they could go swimming even at night. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wanted to be able to get around Bangkok quickly and easily, and who want to relax when they get back.

Nice hotel, great pool”
I really enjoyed my stay in the Qui Sukhumvit. The biggest advantage is the 5 minute walk to the BTS line, which allowed me to go pretty much wherever I needed to go in Bangkok. It's a few subway stops away from the famous Soi Cowboy if you're interested in that. Also, the Asok BTS stop was a really cool area to walk around. I got a tuk-tuk from there and saw some cool temples and took a longboat ride. The driver waited for me and was really friendly. The facilities of the hotel were great. Clean rooms and an awesome pool. The staff was nice enough, but some of them didn't seem like they were too eager to help. It's probably just my American "customer service" bias, though. I didn't mind too much, but the wifi was also really bad. I would get disconnected about 4 or five times every time I used the internet for 15-30 minute periods. I would definitely stay here again.

A good option if on a medium budget”
There were quite a few pluses with going to Qui. 1) Near the BTS 2) On-nut is a lively area but not manic. Eating, shopping, having a stroll offers a lot but feels more local rather than the tourist end of Bangkok. 3) On nut suited us, as we had things to do towards the east of the BTS line, not the west. 4) I mentioned eating but there were excellent cheap choices everywhere (including in Tesco Lotus fairly close by) The hotel itself was ok. Good enough pool. We upgraded our room and had had a little more space, with 2 TVs.. I also liked how there were own washing machines / dryers downstairs, which we then managed to do one big load of washing with. It is not in the heart of Bangkok (depending on what you are looking for) but I liked this district and the BTS location is brilliant. Price very, fair compared to what else you might get in the same price range in Bangkok in other districts.

A good hotel at great location”
I stayed in Qiu hotel with my son. It is on a great location. Staff is very helpful. You can get the skytrain within 2 mins walk. There is also a 7-11 at the corner and Tesco Lotus on the other side the street. There are couple of nice places for food. Authentic Thai Massage is also next door. Overall it was a good experience for us. Rooms are spacious and clean.

Staying for the 5th time”
I started to stay in this hotel even before it changed management and its name to Qiu Hotel from The Green Bells Onnut 79. In general, the hotel has made some improvements. More seating has been added to poolside so that guests can enjoy a resort feeling having a drink. A gym and pool table has also been added for the fitness-minded. I do have two areas that I'm not too happy about. One morning at 6.30 a.m. I was awaken by the shrieks of little kids. I looked out of the window and there were two little girls in the pool with their mother(I suppose) who was swinging them around the water causing them to shriek loudly. I do not blame the kids (for they were obviously having fun) but the inconsiderate adult who thinks it is alright to take her children and play at 6.30 a.m. in the pool which is surrounded by all the rooms which was less than 5 metres away. I would also blame the hotel staff for not stopping them. There is a right time for everything. Secondly, although the rooms seemed cleaned by the chambermaid everyday, I did notice that the floors were not swept as hair and dirt that I knew were there when I left for my outing of the day were still in the same position when I returned. Cleaning in other areas were somewhat satisfactory. However I will still return to stay here as value for money as well as the location satisfied my needs.

This is a hotel located in the city center”
Stayed at The Green for a 2 night spa break with my wife. If you are planning a visit to The Green or The Windlestrae (sister hotel) booking the spa treatment is a must! It was a fist time spa break for us, and we were feeling a little uncomfortable about what to expect, but the 2 ladies in the spa were superb, talked you through every little detail, and the treatment itself (75 minute body ritual) is quite simply sensational. Not only was it relaxing, it worked wonders for my bad knees due to arthritis. Our room in The Green was spacious and clean, what you would expect from a room within a 4 star hotel. The room also had a 2 seated couch, and 2 single arm chairs which was ideal for a little rest, you normally find yourself lying on the bed! We spent most of our time in the sister hotel, purely because of the leisure facilities, and the menu in Monty's was a little more suited to our tastes. The bar in the Windlestrae also had a tv on the music channel. But taking nothing away from The Green, if you are looking for a very relaxing Break, The Green is probably the right hotel. Breakfast had everything you could want, continental and cooked. You won't go hungry! My only criticism of the whole stay, and this is clutching at straws in order to balance out the review, is that we did have to wait a little while to order drink at the bar in Rushes bar, Wendy was behind the bar herself all afternoon and was trying to manage 3 or 4 different areas, serving customers in the bar and running back and forth to the kitchen with food etc. If I was to make one suggestion, it would be for a jukebox, or music of some sort in Jocks bar in the Green Hotel. There was only one other couple in the bar when we went in for a drink, and there was absolutely no atmosphere, very quiet. Overall, a great stay and we will definitely be back

Thrid time ”
I am not writing a big review, because it was my third time in this hotel. Actually it was fourth, but first time was a years ago and only for day. Definitely next time if I go Bangkok, I will book this hotel. Everything was good - friendly and helpful staff, everything was clean and basically every day renewed things what actually dont need - like washing/changing pool stones etc. Just a some (negative) things, what isnt important to me, but maybe for someone its importantn. Internet isn't the best, but enough todo some daily stuff like update websites, read mails etc. Its not problem anyway - if you need better internet, buy a cheap thailand mobile internet, and its solved. Second is location. If you want to close main barareas like soi 4 etc, then it's maybe bit too far.
