I like the cleanliness of the place. The space of the room is quite small for the 4 of us but the location is great. It is walking distance to so many local restaurants and bars (for older children), near to the station. Near to where the Gion Matsuri festival, so all the street foods and vendors are all along the vicinity. There are bus option going to main Gion district, Inari Shrine, Nijo castle, and Manga museum. Biking is also another option. You can cook your own meal at the shared dining area. Free coffee and bread for breakfast. Refill your own water from the dining area. You can stay in the dining area anytime. They also have laundry machines, you only need coins. We rented the room for 4 so we have our own shower and toilet.
