Stunning hotel with wonderful gardens”
This hotel is the 1st stop for our trip to Krabi. We decided to land ourselves on Railey west for the sunset view on day 1 out of the 4 days we had. The railey west beach is surrounded with absolutely stunning landscapes, this hotel adds on more to the already beautiful view. The garden setting alone deserves a landscape award. We had the pleasure of watching frogs leaping from lotus leave to another on the ponds while huge koi fishes swim around beneath the waters. Walking to back to our room was always enjoyable within the highly crafted greenery. Within the room it is the biggest room we have encountered in Krabi. While we wish the toilet was a little cleaner, just a few stains at the shower area didn't break the deal at all for us. I opted for the ground floor which opens to the swimming pool directly. Just mesmerizing views even in the waters without the ocean. Evening sunsets at railey west are stunning. We had a late dinner on Railey east where a small density of F&B opens up the option for choices definitely on the plainer sight of things compared to Aonang while being enjoyable nonetheless. Sunrise at railey east was enjoyable while the low tide allowed us to walk further to the edge. Infact sunrise was more enjoyable than sunset comparatively. Phranang cave and beach within walking distance from the hotel was the hidden gem for the trip. Back at the hotel the breakfast was quite decent, banana pancakes were superb. Overall very good services from the friendly staff, when we hop on to the long tail departing Railey my other half said she was missing railey already. Railey echoes a semi private beach thanks to the access by boat only, there are always less people here. I highly recommend Railay village resort it is the best looking hotel among those along the same beach only bettered.

Thank you Railay Village Resort for such a wonderful trip ”
We spent over 5 nights in Railay Village Resort and we had such an epic and wonderful experience that we will never forget. We went for our special occasion and we were very well looked after by Siriwan, Kantima, Fatima and the team. Please select the cottage with the Jacuzzi if you want to experience the luxury of staying in a cottage style villa and perhaps just do nothing after the nightfall. We highly recommend staying in this resort to get the best out of Railay Beach. The resort is next to the beach and a shopping and restaurant alley. If I had to redo my vacation I would choose no where but this resort. The team in the resort is super friendly and accommodating. I never met Siriwan face to face but I really wanted to thank her before I left as she was so prompt with her email responses and gave us a nice surprise with room decoration for our occasion. The team looked after us getting us the Kayaks and getting us to the boat on our last day. I am glad I chose the Krabi to Railay

Lovely room with great location”
We stayed at the Railay Village Resort for 3 nights in January 2012 and we loved it! The room was spacious, with king size bed and a day bed, a nice bathroom with large shower and the outdoor jacuzzi. The room was very clean and beautiful. There is not much pressure in the shower and jacuzzi (filling the jacuzzi takes forever - but it's worth it!). You should keep your outdoor doors closed to avoid mosquitos in the room, there are some. The vegetation around the villa is great, we saw an iguana, a lot of birds, frogs and we were told by the staff to beware of the monkeys! The pools of the hotel (there are 2 pools) are very nice and clean, with a jacuzzi in the one near the beach. We had breakfast included and the western buffet was nice. They don't sell alcool at the hotel, but they will let you bring your alcool from outside (and they will even give you a glass for your beer). The food at the restaurant is good, but the service is slow and the staff could use a little more smile. The hotel is right next to the beach, which is long and large, with beautiful sand and water. The hotel offers tours arounds Railay and has a private boat and taxi to go to Krabi international Airport. We had a wonderful time at this hotel!

Fantastic Hotel with great service”
I am impressed with the rooms of Railay Village Resort. The deluxe room was great, nice and big bathroom, fantastic view from the balcony. If you do a search on Railay beach, by comparison you will find that Railay Village Resort has better rooms and better location. The hotel could however increase the router points for the WiFi signals because the signal is hardly detectable for those using apple products such as iphone or ipad. The breakfast buffet was quite standard but I am impressed with the service staff, they were very attentive to the guest. I would definitely return to Railay Village Resort. Highly recommended for couples looking for a romantic retreat.

Lovely beach resort by the sea”
My first time staying at Railay Village Resort after hearing good reviews online. Stayed at Deluxe Pool View and within 5 mins walking distance to the west Railay Beach. Located right on the island with no motor vehicle, this is a must visit island especially for rock climbers. Resort is relatively clean with huge bathroom and living area. Overall resort is clean and thats what i usually look out for. Recommended for up to 3 pax stay without feeling that the room is small at all. Huge couch and king size bed for couple. Pool directly accessible from the doorstep! A sense of privacy as the village seems self-contain with its own area separated from the rest of the resort, mini-mart next to reception makes shopping for grocery easily accessible.

Loved Railay Village!!”
My husband and I loved everything about Railay Village Resort! We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay there. The room was clean and big, the pool was magnificent with the trees and plants surrounding it, the price was reasonable and the staff was helpful and courteous. We were staying in Ao Nang and wanted to stay on one of the islands and decided on RVR. So glad we did. I hope to one day come back. We rented kayaks, strolled the beaches and swam in the pool. The location of the restaurant right on the beach is exquisite! One afternoon three of us played cards at the restaurant and even though they do not serve alcohol they let us buy beer from a mini mart and drink them there while we sat beach side. Do yourself a favor and stay at Railay Village Resort!

best value for money of Railay beach”
Railay village resort was definitely the best choice we made. Bungalows are very nicely furnished, big and clean. If you can get the Deluxe Pool view rooms, you will be facing a very nice and quiet swmimming pool with sun beds to relax. Little detail to note: on the 2nd day, the cleaning staff didn't refurnish any of the bathroom amenities (shower gel, shampoo), which was really missing and we had to ask for new ones but never got them... The location is perfect: along the main and best beach with white sand and amazing sunset. On the other coast, it's only mangrove and non-accessible sea. Breakfast is simple but good, mainly western food. It turns into restaurant for lunch and dinner with great selection of seafood that we can choose and grill on a BBQ at night. This was delicious! The hotel was very helfpful to book a 1/2 day tour around 4 islands. Only complain is that because of Chinese New Year holidays, it was overpacked (the boat guide told us that it was nothing compared to a few days before... I don't even imagine!!!). But overall nice time. Don't expect anything from snorkelling, the coral is unfortunately mainly dead and we can only see a few fishes. One important detail to note: there is no road leading to Railay beach. You have no choice but to take a boat and all public options stop at 6pm. Should you arrive at the pier after 6pm, you will have no choice but to take a private longtail boat that will cost you 2-3 times more than usual. Boat trip is very short (10-15 min). Overall a great stay there. We recommend this hotel and would definitely come back!

They thought of everything!”
We loved every minute of our stay at Railay Village Resort. The central location on Railay West Beach was excellent and the setting was lovely. The pools were crystal clear and there were palm trees everywhere! We stayed in a Deluxe Villa with Jacuzzi and it was our own private little house for the four days we were there. To get to the front door you had to use a path that crossed a coy pond. So cool! The bed was low, Thai style, and my husband told me it was the most relaxed he had felt in years. Because there were so many other things to do on the island, we only used the Jacuzzi once...but they had candles all set up around it, and it worked perfectly. In the room there was bug spray, tooth brushes, a flash light, a sewing kit. Daily, we got bottles of complimentary water. In the closet they had flip flops, slippers, umbrellas, and robes. And the spa! I'm going to have to write a separate review for their spa, Mango, because it was so good...I saw Meg (I think that's her name) both days and I wanted to bring her home with me. Breakfast was great...you could choose Western or Thai dishes. I always had salad...love that you can have salad for breakfast there! Really it was just a perfect stay and I hope we get to come back some day. Loved every minute of it!

Railay Village Resort”
This was our 2nd stay at Railay Village Resort & we will definately return to stay in the future. Railay beach as a location is fantastic & I am convinced that Railay Village resort is the best resort at Railay. Railay Village Resort offers luxury accommodation where you can relax in their stunning gardens & pools away from other tourists but in close enough proximity to the restaurants & all the activities. The staff are friendly & go out of their way to cater to your every need. I can recommend Railay Village Resort to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday - couples & families - you will not be disappointed!!

nice pool and fantastic beds”
we arrived at krabi and stayed 2 nights in the Railay Village Resort so we did not use too many of the hotel´s facilities + nice personell + big rooms, big bathroom + big bed (must have been 2.2m x 2m) - nice when you travel with 2 kids + extra beds for kids were set up before arrival + good food in restaurant for modest price + very nice pool right in front of the rooms (we stayed in a pool villa) - lot of long tail boats right in front of the hotel (noisy)

Lovely hotel in scenic location”
The hotel was a pleasant oasis in Railay, which is a bit overrun with resorts, without being as sterile and overdeveloped as Rayavadee at the other end of the beach. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful and the pools and rooms were lovely. The restaurant was just ok, but the friendly service made up for it, and to be honest it was better than anywhere else I tried on Railay, though I didn't try Rayavadee! Railay's scenery is every bit as beautiful as advertised, but it is badly overdue for modern redevelopment with true boutique hotels and eco-resorts in tune with the surroundings. Until that happens, Railay Village Resort is by far the most pleasant and low-key option available.

The Best Place We Stayed During Our Vacation”
Of the three properties we stayed at during our vacation, the Railay Village Resort was absolutely the best. The location is excellent. There are no roads to Railay, so you must take a boat from one of the nearby piers. I made my transportation arrangements through the hotel, so they took care of the car and boat. I highly recommend doing that for ease. The rooms are beautiful and clean. Both pools are also beautiful, clean, and cool. The on-site restaurant has a nice variety of foods (mostly Thai with some western cuisine) and is very good. The breakfast buffet was also very good and had a nice variety of foods that rotated throughout the week. There are several other restaurants in short walking distance if you want something else. The sunsets and beaches are gorgeous. The hotel can arrange island tours and other recreational activities for you. I highly recommend a stay here!

Nice weekend in Railay Village Resort”
We spend the weekend in Krabi at the Railay Village Resort. We had the transfer organized by the hotel from Krabi airport (round trip = 2*1700 THB for shuttle and boat for 2). The restaurant in on the beach facing the beautiful sea and rocks, and sunset. We could walk or take a boat to go on the other close beaches (Tonsai for instance). The hotel is very relaxing, buildings are good quality and well designed, gardens are beautiful.

I can't wait to go back!”
Our stay was from January 25-30, 2019. I was hoping for the best, but because of mixed reviews I was prepared to be underwhelmed. Any apprehensions about choosing the wrong hotel were laid to rest the minute we arrived. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay so much that we plan on returning in the very near future. Our room was on the second floor at the back of the property next to the larger pool. While I read complaints about staying at the back of the property we found our room to be perfectly located. It helped when we figured out that we can go out the back way too. The room décor is simple, but very attractive. Our only complaint is the lack/misuse of storage space. There was half a closet that we couldn't use because the opening is blocked by the vanity and the safe is in the half that you can get to. There are no dresser drawers. The grounds are beautiful and everyone on staff was helpful. We're looking forward to returning to Railay Village Resort.

Best on the West”
Getting to Railay Village Resort requierd us to carry our bags through knee deep water at Ao Nang and tehn to carry them onto the beach and drag them throught the sand. Luckily resort is central and directly in front of the area boats pull up in. The beach is awe inspiring with its huge cliffs and idyllic water. We were greeted with a welcome drink and cool towels at check-in. OUR badgs were carried to our room which was at the back of the resort, only a 2minute walk to the beach. It was nice feeling a little more seculded at the back there away from the going on of the beach. The gtrounds were lovely and we could walk out of our room and slip into the beautiful pool. The room was nice and teh TV had a good choice of pay TV channels. Teh fruit basket was replaced everydy which was nice. The food at the resorts restaurant we felt was the best on the west side, and the waiters were very friendly. The restaurant sat directly on teh beach front for views of those spectacular cliffs. Breakfasts were beautiful. Our room often had a smell of sewrage. The generatr goes off at 10, which means there was no power after that point, which we did not find a problem.

great bed in paradise”
Really enjoyed my stay at the Railay Village Resort. Have stayed at the other resort (Railay Bay Resort) and both are very even in quality. Slightly better layout at the other but loved the separate cabin, with our own fish pond with frogs, jacuzzi tub with our own TV/DVD (bring your own DVD's though!), and large room with great bed and welcoming fruit basket. All a nice touch. Staff were relatively helpful. WIFI did not work in our room though which was frustrating. Nice pool though small with only a few chairs. Breakfast was good as well (get it included). WOuld stay there again.

Best location, great room, value-for-money”
It was our first time going to Railay and we were choosing over a couple of resorts. I'm glad that we chose this in the end. Firstly, it's right in front of the beach. On the longtail boat from Ao Nang to Krabi, we were still wondering how far we had to walk to our resort. Imagine our surprise when the boat arrived and we saw the resort right in front! It's definitely hassle-free in that aspect. Staff were friendly and the room was beautiful. It overlooked a lovely swimming pool which we used a couple of times at night. It was very relaxing. For breakfast, you get to sit real close to the sea and it's an amazing experience. Food's just alright but I won't complain for the other stuff that we got in return. The resort offers a lot of packages for island hopping etc, so you can check that out at the reception. There's a Walking Street with some shopping options. The resort also stretches to the other side so you can easily walk over. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Railay and at this resort, and hoped that we had booked our trip over more days!

Excellent experience in Railay”
We absolutely loved this hotel. It's in Railay West, which is arguably the best beach in Railay. Some would say Princess beach is better (Ao Phra Nang) , but it's also smaller, is further away from restaurants and only has one very high priced resort to stay at (Rayavadee), so my vote goes for Railay West. So, the location of this hotel is excellent, with the lobby and restaurant looking out onto the beachfront, framed by gorgeous cliffs. The rooms are tucked away into the interior of the resort in a beautifully manicured tropical garden. We stayed at the jacuzzi villa, which was very comfortable and well-designed. One drawback is that there are quite a lot of mosquitoes at night in the property, but this can be said of Railay generally; make sure you don't leave the door to outside open and close the bathroom door and you should be fine. the staff are delightful and friendly and made us feel at home. They even upgraded us from poolview to jacuzzi suite at no extra cost - truly wow!

Best room I've ever stayed in!”
Railay West is a very beautiful place, and wonderfully on display at this resort, which spills out onto the beach. Friendly reception, and the food was cute, but really our villa was the nicest surprise. First, it was very close to the beach, the pool, reception, and the restaurant, while still feeling entirely remote, peaceful, and safe from the hustle and bustle of hospitality. Second, the walkway to the front door was a series of stones set in a lotus pool, under some glorious greenery. Third, the villa itself was very spacious and comfortable, I really loved the layout. The shower and the jacuzzi were great, and the bed was huge! We took lots of day trips here, but felt great spending time at our villa, and decided to spend the last night getting room service and watching tv, in case the resort at the next stop on our trip wasn't as nice... thanks Railay Village!
