found this hotel as the only 5 star in rawai that was affordable. had a nice stay; the staff was helpful in arranging tours to nearby islands and suggesting restaurants to try, the room was nicely designed and clean, with a very comfortable bed, and the atmosphere was perfect for a couple looking to enjoy some quiet time in a nice tranquil setting. while its location is right on the beach, there aren't really any restaurants or activities nearby within walking distance, so it is probably best to rent a motorbike if you are looking for nightlife or adventure. the hotel restaurant is expensive, but i was happy with the quality of the food; it offered a variety of thai and western dishes. would definitely stay here again, as the service, value and quality were all top notch.

Lovely resort with very kind and caring staff. Location is very quiet, you'll need to rent a car or motorbike to travel (rawai beach and the big Buddha are close by). There is a supermarket at the top of the road and several restaurants. The Italian and the Indian places were excellent, some of the best in Phuket. We had a one room cottage, WiFi was good and it had a smart TV so you could stream content from your device. The pool is big and always quiet. This is a great resort for relaxing, perfect for families and groups.

First of all everyone should understand the location – resort is in a quiet area of Rawai and it is 300 meters from beachfront, but the Rawai Beach is not for swim. If you want to swim you should go to Yanui or Naiharn which are 4 km away, we rented a car so it wasn't a problem for us. Rawai Beach has lots of restaurants and cafe's, there are also massage parlours, convenience stores and there are also boat taxis. The boat taxis or longtails took us to Bon Island and Coral Island where we spent great time. Villas are all new, there is a new kids park, which should be fully opened on August, 2016 with more playgrounds and it looks promising. Hopefully we will come here again next year! Thank you!

I lived in this area of Thailand for a year on and off, Ive rented houses, stayed in the best hotels, cheap bungalows, the works.... This is my favourite place in Rawai/Naiharn. Love the ladies that ring you to find out what you want for breakfast the next day, everyday. The villa looks brand new, the bed is amazing, I love that the pool is cooled during the day. This is the only place I will stay on my future trips back to Rawai to visit friends, Ive just booked for another 10 days in February. I loved it here, safe and secure. Had my friends come over for breakfast, lunch or dinner and a swim in the pool. I loved how private it was. The only negatives was the photos are a little deceiving, In the photo of the lounge room there is a 3 seater couch and like a chaise/poofer that people could sit on, however there was no chaise/poofer in my villa so when I had a few friends over there wasn't enough room to sit. Also there was no couch chair on the terrace. Small negatives for overall an amazing place.

Very nice resort on Rawai beach. The restaurant was next to the pool on one side and the beach on the other. Really good food and a large choice of Thai, Western and healthy choices (the chef even came out to check everyone was happy with their meals!). The room was really big and well presented. The shower is outside but well concealed. Room had complimentary water, fresh towels and a TV/DVD player. Pool is nice (not huge but big enough when not too many people are in it) and well maintained. Overall it has a nice vibe about it, very family friendly and we had a nice relaxing stay. You're a bit in the middle of nowhere so do need a taxi to get around and see things.

after trying at other several hotels in rawai, we have decided this is it. every time we go to phuket it will be this one. staff attentive and very friendly. restaurant has great food and wine selection. pool is very big and you will never feel crowded. try to do a length of swim by the long edge, it's quite exhausting! that's how big the pool is! all rooms have semi outdoor shower with bamboo wall which is very nice. we got upgraded to the pool villa this time and it was fantastic! the pool villa that you can actually spend time in, not some tub with water in it! only thing that we would like it to change is that the mattress is a bit hard but i guess that's asian standard. they can do extra padding for mattress upon request to soften it up a bit. this time we tried the spa as well and it was great.

This hotel is one of my all time favorite from my many years travel experience. The hotel in fact was built for residential so it's fully equipped with all facilities like you're staying at home, washing machine, microwave, huge refrigerator, kitchenware, electric stove, etc. The quality of all these equipment, construction material and furniture are doubtlessly high-class. I also like that the room was spacious and having bathtub at balcony. The room was very very clean, neat and tidy. Of course it might due to the hotel was built for just a year but I fully believe great attention from staff was really a vital part of this. My one small comment is the location of TV in the living room was not practical. It's tilt angel to watch TV when sitting on the sofa. Anyway, given the constrain from room layout, there was indeed no other choice to place it elsewhere. The hotel may consider to add another TV in a bedroom then. The breakfast was not buffet but there were 9 sets for choosing. We picked nbr 1 and 9 (Roti), the taste was excellent, honestly it's much better than we expected. Anyway, the heat of food specifically baked bean in my dish and amount of food could be improved. In summary, the hotel was equally 5-star hotel with 3-star room rate. I would totally recommend to everybody as well as of course staying again if I have a chance to visit Phuket.

i stayed in this hotel for family vacation only 1 night but it was great choice of the hotel that i ever stay and would like to recommend everyone. ptree boutique hotel phuket is the brand new hotel in rawai beach – phuket, thailand. it takes about 30 minutes from phuket town by the highway. rawai beach is the most peachful and relaxing beach in phuket. not like patong beach. if you’re looking for the late night party. this is not your place. however, ptree phuket is located on the same road as evason resort. when you’re in the evason resort road, it will be the right hand side. the first thing you will see is the huge thai style wooden door that will lead you to the warm and nice hospitality hotel lobby style. it’s come with the great dining area indoor and outdoor with the surround bushes to keep you feel private and comfortable. after the bushes, you will find the 30meters length swimming pool to keep you enjoy with it for all day long. my kids love it so much! the hotel designed a+ was unique and amazed me at the first times i’ve seen. there were 3 different type of hotel room (pool view on the 2nd floor, pool suite on the 1st floor and family suite – 2 storey.) i was booked for pool view on the 2nd floor at first. but when i checked in, the staff was so kind and give me the recommend to upgrade to pool suite for my kids safety. i totally agreed and upgraded to the pool suite. if you’re on honeymoon or no kids, the pool view is might be your choice. i was so impressed about the pool suite with the designed and the huge bath tub. with a little upgrade cost if you can afford, pool suite is the most recommend room type for my opinion. all the room design and stuff in the room was great quality product like you’ve seen in the normal five star hotel. i couldn’t believe how they put this thing together with this price. anyway, overall ptree phuket was new, clean, comfort, eco-friendly, great friendly staff and service. price was great.

First of all, know that if you go to Rawai, you are not going to the 24/hr bar or Spring Break scene that you would get in Patong. That is precisely why my fiancee and I went there. Rawai is a smaller, quieter area that is popular with expats. Thai Palace Resort is in a great location--on the very corner of two main road that leads to more restaurants and sightseeing, directly across from Rawai Beach, and next door were many massage parlors, convenience stores, and restaurants. (Note: Rawai Beach is mainly for boats and is lovely if you want to pay $1,200 baht to take a boat to Coral Island. If you want to sunbathe, go to Naiharn Beach which is 5-7 minutes away by scooter, or drive 15-20 minutes to Kata Beach.) The hotel itself was VERY clean. They cleaned everyday, provided fresh towels and toiletries, and the room was very large. There was no tub in our room on the second floor (room 206). The room faced the road, and the balcony gave a garden/pool view. It was not loud at all, despite being on the road. We chose a breakfast-included package, and the breakfast was quite good. You could choose from a Thai or Western breakfast, and it was essentially eggs done any way you want (choose the omelette they put veggies in it), and toast, as well as a choice of either bacon, sausage, or ham. Additionally you got a small glass of juice, and a choice of coffee or tea. Quite filling and satisfying. Two VERY minor cons: 1-There are no elevators, so carrying our luggage to the second floor was a bit of a bummer, but not impossible. 2-The cleaning ladies do an outstanding job, but they do take forever. Some days your room might be cleaned by 10am, when you return from breakfast. Other days it might not be done until 3pm. Again, these are tiny details, nothing that detracts from the stay. I loved Thai Palace Resort, and would not only go there again, but I wholeheartedly recommend it for travelers looking for something in Thailand aside from the madness of Patong

Navatara is a comfortable and resort like hotel in Rawai. Generally not much to do in Rawai compared to other towns but if u want peace and quiet, it's a great place. Walking distance to the beach (not a swimming beach), boat rides, elephants, bars and restaurants. The free hotel shuttle van takes you to any spot on Rawai for free, so moving around is not hard. Also close by is naiharn beach which is beautiful for swimming and lounging around. The free shuttle from navatara will drop you off and pick u up too. Taxis quite costly in Phuket.

My husband and I had a 2 day break and stayed at The View. This was THE best weekend break we have had in years. We were upgraded to a jacuzzi room with a warm welcome of iced coconut drinks and cold wet towels. The staff was amazing, the view was exceptional and the food was of the highest standard. Since did not have a car, the hotel took us to a convenience store free of charge to get necessities. We were sad to leave and will definitely be going back!

This is a great villa which I would thoroughly recommend to anyone staying in Rawai. It is a good size and comes with a fully functional kitchen, large fridge/freezer and fast internet. The fact there was a washing machine and drying rack is also a great bonus. Location wise, I would suggest taking advantage of the free parking and hiring a vehicle. I rented a scooter and equipped with this, was under 5 minutes from a number of the best rated restaurants in Rawai and under 20 minutes from neighbouring tourist attractions. The service staff were wonderful and villa regularly cleaned. The only disappointment was the property manager. She was 2 hours late for our check-in, gave us incorrect instructions during the check-in process and turned up unannounced at 21:30 halfway through our stay complaining we hadn't given her notice of check-out before realising she had the wrong property. This experience unfortunately detracted from our overall enjoyment of the property and holiday.

This is the second time we stayed here, and it was great. The hotel is on the Rawai beach road, and taxi drivers might know it as Malai hotel. Rooms are very comfortable, and amenities include a bar fridge, a safe, an umbrella, and free wi-fi which was quite slow at times. Rooms were cleaned daily, and we were supplied with pool towels, as well. There are two swimming pools, so most rooms open to the swimming pool, while some are tucked behind palm trees. If you are looking for privacy, this might not be the place for you, though, as other guests are quite close. We opted for the breakfast option, which was basic with asian and western dishes on offer. The hotel also has a restaurant and you can order decent food from them, but there are plenty of restaurants along the Rawai beach to choose from. Staff were very friendly, and even helped translate for me. Overall a great stay.

It is not a hotel; for me, it is more to a service apartment that is running by an independent owner, at least not by the property's management itself if you book thru Agoda. After booking via Agoda, we need to make the checking-in and out arrangement with the unit's owner which is very inconvenient if you do not have the Thai's sim card. Anyway, the good part is the property is strategically situated right in front of Rawai Beach and many eateries nearby. Three swimming pools are available in the property itself. The room is clean and spacious with all necessities. If you are fine with the inconvenient and confusing checking-in process, this property is definitely a great choice.

This is our second stay at the Title. This time with our newborn infant. There was no cot, but we didn't need one anyway, had our own travel cot. The studio room we stayed in was not very big, like a regular hotel room size but it did have a microwave, kitchen sink and full size fridge... All of which came in very handy during our stay. Location is directly across from Rawai beach but it's not a beach for lounging on , more for long tail boats to take U out to other islands. That said, naiharn beach close by (can't walk all the way there though!) is beautiful if u want to sun on the beach. We stayed by the resorts pool side which is great. Along the streets you will find minimarts bars and cafes.

We loved the villa for its huge space. There is 4 levels and a pool that is small but we love it anyway. You can stargaze at night on the level 4. We were from house 5 but moved to house 3. 5 is slightly bigger and has an escalator but 3 does not have. Anyway the house is clean and Tom the manager is friendly and helpful with the cleaning stuffs as well. We enjoyed the stay here and would recommend it to other travellers!

I stayed again at Sandy for ten days this year. It's probably not very common for a hotel to be fondly remembered but that's exactly the way I feel. It's more like being welcomed by friends than actually staying in a hotel. Of course the rooms are clean and new and nicely decorated but the people there are simply fantastic. Peach and Fang will do everything to make you feel at home. When I wanted to make a reservation, back in early October, the hotel was already fully booked. I emailed Peach to tell him how disappointed I was and the next day, I got his answer saying that everything had been fixed! Breakfast is included and it's good. Free access to tea or coffee, bananas or fruit salad 24/7. Definitely MY hotel in Rawai: thank you again Fang and Peach.

Great swim up room was really convenient with 2 children, I would of given 5* for value but for the 950 thb charge for extra bed per night - where would the 2 children noted on the booking have slept.. Location a little out of the way for Rawai beach, hotel does shuttle service 3 times a day however none at night so taxi ranging between 200 and 400 one way. There are nice restaurants and an ice cream parlour a 20 minutes walk away to the right, opposite direction to hotel. Breakfast coffee and eggs, toast and fruit, selection representative of hotel size. Overall an enjoyable quiet relaxing stay as we’d expected.

This is a great little hotel with your own little bungalow around the pool. The staff were happy and helpful from the moment I walked in the door to the time I had to leave. The rooms are clean and tidy and I think you would be hard pushed to complain about the rooms for the reasonable rates charged. There are some bars within walking distance and a 7/11 across the road. Not ideally within walking distance to Nai Harn beach (probably 20min.walk) but an easy scooter ride away. I like this hotel and it will be my first choice for my next visit

This Condotel is clean and tidy. Rooms,Pools and Sauna are clean. House maid cleans everyday even some rooms without guests. Every staffs are very helpful and polite with their smiles. Especially manger Mr.Kanjanong , who concerns every details with care. We had our peaceful moments during our stays. There are lots of bars and restaurants nearby, along Rawai Beach, also a seafood market near pier (15 minutes walk distance). Of course, Promthep Cape is in a MUST go list, we enjoyed our afternoon there (5 mins drive distance)

Villa Lombok is about 40 minutes drive from all the Phuket madness. So, if you are looking for peace and tranquillity, villa Lombok is your choice 100%. Jackie was very helpful with all the requests we had. Spacious villa with a beautiful and clean bathroom; private pool; grill. We had one of the best experiences at Villa Lombok. If you want a nice place to relax and enjoy Rawai this is the place to be. Cascades Resort exceeding our expectations and if anything, made our stay that much better! We initially booked 2 nights but after having such a great time we extended our stay, which Terry very helpfully assisted us with. Cascade is close enough to popular surrounding beaches (Yanui & Nai Harn) and far enough to escape and have some down time. Highly recommend Cascades!!!

The staff are very nice! I was impressed by their wonderful and sincere service! This is the best hotel that I stayed in Phuket. When I arrived, they gave me welcoming drink and food. They also provided me with useful maps. (The maps that I got in the airport are really useless.) Besides, they drove me to the beach nearby and took me to see the beautiful sunset at Phromthep Cape. They also drove me to take the bus to phuket town. Besides, the room is very big and tidy! The facilities are very good and new. The hotel is just around 5-10 minute walk to the Rawai Pier. Chalong pier is also not very far. I took the blue bus to Chalong pier. It cost THB$30-35 for one way. The view along Rawai beach is wonderful. I have an advice for those who want to go to Coral Island. There is no public boat going to Coral Island at Rawai pier.. (I read some information that there are boats going to Coral Island from Rawai pier and Chalong pier and that cost THB$100. I couldn't find any... The private boat would charge me THB$1000, some even THB$3000....So, I gave up going there..) If you want to go to Coral Island, you may (1) check the public boat at Chalong pier, but people would sell you private boat and it seems that just a very few people know the public boat... Private boat may still be the way if more people go there. (2) book Coral Island Resort... (3) join the local tour in Phuket Town, which is much cheaper than those in Rawai (I don't know why)...

This hotel was amazing! Great rooms with superb facilities, nice pool for a dip. I had the penthouse suite so was fun to use the Jacuzzi at night time ;) All the staff especially the owners were on point, you couldn't ask for nicer people. Because of this hotel I will definitely be staying in Rawai again and I can't wait for the next trip to enjoy the beautiful scenery and divuldge in some exceptional beverages :)

One of the most amazing experiences I had at a really reasonable rate! The owner of this place actually arranged an airport transfer for me upon request and also showed me around the area to answer all my questions in Rawai. Vincent really tried to accommodate to my requests such as early check in due to my flight, bicycles rentals etc etc. Environment was quiet and perfect for a short getaway from the city life and the service staff was exceptional. Highly recommended for all the come and stay here and I will definitely go back again!
