Where to stay in Bihar State
Bihar State hotels & accommodations

We stayed here for four days as a family of 4 with our little daughter. Caught a good deal on the price too for the 2 rooms, and overall this was absolutely awesome value for the money. The inside, the rooms, the general ambience was all good, and perfectly in line with its 3 star rating. The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom and facilities,...

Stay was alright. Patna isn't a city for a 4 / 5 star experience. The hotel was a little bit unclean in the room, my bed sheets weren't free of dirt, but shower was really nice after walking around Patna all day. The food at the cafe for dinner was quite tasty, but the next day they served me a poorly made salad that did not match the discription on the menu. The st...

I have been staying in Maurya for years whenever I visit Patna. On a few occasions, i did stay in some other hotels, due to unavailability. But I find Maurya to be the best in terms of friendliness, food, location, facilities etc. Best part is the friendly staff.

Great location, walking distance to the maha bodhi temple, friendly staff and good environment to stay. It is an older hotel but has hot water and has very large rooms. It has 24 hr restaurant, laundry service and staff is very responsive to any requests. Internet maybe slow and will disconnect but it is ture for most hotels in gaya. Stayed 3 nights at the hotel Jan 20...

Overall I would recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Bodhgaya. The location is close to the airport and a short auto rickshaw ride from Mahabodhi Temple. The food is excellent and rooms and hotel in general are very clean. The waitstaff is over-exuberent about having foreign travelers visiting them. After serving my dinner my waiter waited until I had a few bit...

hard to find initially as it sits behind another hotel in front. THe staff were awesome and tried their best at all times. loved the close walking distance to the Mahabodhi and the roof top restaurant with a good selection of foods.had all breakfasts and some dinners. Being a solo female traveller I felt safe and comfortable. THe stafff including the owners, to front d...

Value for money as we booked two months before travel date and got a good discount from agoda on rack rates. Excellent large property with lawns all around, parking etc. On 80 feet buddha road with various monasteries all around. Little distant from mahabodhi temple for walking. Maintenance is the only issue as you can see dampness marks on walls. Flooring is clean. To...

Mahabodhi Hotel is a beautiful hotel with all necessary facilities. Its not a Resort from any angle. Very Clean hotel & staff is very cordial. Food was very tasty & had good quantity too. Though there was not much variety in Veg food. There is lack of parking area if some wedding/function is booked there. We had to park our car outside the hotel due to some wedding.

Very courteous and helpful. Arranged transport to the Airport when it was a heavy downpour rain. Excellent commitment. There was a power shutdown but that was understandable with nature was causing haywire. Well done!! Mr Sanjay , Manager of the Hotel committed and he delivered. 3 Cheers!!

Great staff. Clean room. Good air conditioning. When we were there, there weren't too many guests, so they served breakfast from menu for no extra charge, which was much better than buffet. It is not as professional as what we usually experience in city hotels, however, I would say this is probably the best service you would get in this area.

I was on a trip to India for last 2 month. Till now this was the best hotel in India had our comfortable stay with my wife. Staff members are great rooms are also great neat and clean. Recommended to travellers who wish to visit rajgir or Bodhgaya you can stay here its really fantastic

Don't expect shower in bathroom, bucket and mug, instead, but still there is running hot water. AC Heater did not work. We stayed in a duplex. Fabius layout. Plenty of bottled water. Provided toiletries. Very resourceseful staff. Helped me arrange a car for long distance trip at short notice.

The hotel is in a great location- walking distance to all the sights. Our room was really clean, the bed sheets and blankets looked brand new! The toilet was clean with hot water when you needed it and most of all the staff, in particular one younger guy (sorry didn't get his name!), were really helpful and friendly. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

This is a new, modern hotel with very good facilities which is kept very clean. There is a lovely dining area which provides an excellent breakfast each morning. In addition there is an area for sitting downstairs. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the Mahabodhi temple but is only 10 minutes in a tuk tuk. The staff are very helpful and keen to improve. I had a very ...

In terms of price it is not the cheapest around the vicinity of bodh gaya. However, the value of money is high. When we arrive at Gaya Railway station at an unholy hour...a staff waited for us for hotel transfer.. Which is good and safe as Bihar is not so safe. The location of the hotel is a bit far from action, but they have free bicycles, and that's all what matter...

The hotel its self was claen and well maintained. The staff were not the best as they asked me to pay for my room even though Id already paid through this website. I imagine that they don't get many bookings through Agoda. I would definitely come back in the fiture!!! Best wishes to the guest house and both lovely men that I would miss!

We enjoyed our stay .An easy walk to the Mahabodhi temple and to the hare om and the be happy restaurant. Rajgir is a challenging environment, with few tourist facilities or transportation systems in place, and Hotel Vijay is an example of this problem, something the owners (who are quite accomodating) are all too aware. The hotel is located in the chicken bazaar, a filthy environment, and has no restaurant facilities. I had to walk a distance to find a place to eat, for w...

My stay in Shanti Guest House was great. The staffs were attentive, clean room (except the toilet which was still under renovation)... The room was large, with high speed internet. The hotel is only about 10 mins walk from the temple. Safe environment. Excellent Indian/Oriental breakfast. Thank you for the hospitality.

Hotel is in a great location, famous sites such as the Thai monastery, Mahabodhi temple and many more are just a few minutes drive away. Room was good in size and decor, and the hotel staff were fine. Could have smiled more, but they were helpful and efficient.

Thomas is THE BEST STAFF IN HOTEL BODH VILLAS. We met him on the way to hotel (We went by walk),picked us up by car. Although hotel is not in the city center, HOTEL OFFER PICK & DROP TO CITY CENTER, FREE OF CHARGE. Just call a staff, then driver will pick up & drop. its a budget property with all basic amenities like electric kettle, clean towels and I was surprised by toiletry bottles of body wash & shampoo, which is quite unusual in small hotels in India at this budget. Transport is easy to find and there are some good cafes around.Staffs are helpful, specially the guy at reception.

I can recommend staying at this hotel. Fair price, good services, excellent staff, clean rooms, tasty food and most importantly location - very convenient, not far from the famous temples and sites of the city. The only thing we want to change: bathroom tabs, these did not work well, apart from this, everything was of good value for money.

The hotel is well set up and staff are very willing to help. The hotel is not directly on Exhibition road and hard to find. Big Bazaar, restaurants and other shops are within walking distance. Getting the correct WiFi password was frustrating - each day you had to get a new password and often it did not work. The staff were helpful in getting us another password bu...
