There are very few best hotels in Srinagar, Lalit is one of them. It is a bit far from the local markets but people who wants to stay away from the busy crowd/market, this hotel is meant for you. I liked every thing about this hotel and I will always recommend this property to my near ones.
As I reached the hotel after 3 hours driving , my room was on the 5th floor and guess what as I enter the room there wasn’t any light But then my room was upgraded and I got a bigger room with a bath tub and pool view The spa is just amazing , got feet reflexology done twice and rear everything was nice apart from breakfast which they can improve upon

It was a fantastic experience living in the Zaindari Houseboat. Both father and son Inran were so welcoming that they dis not make you feel like a stranger. I wanted internet and Inran immediately offered his handphone to be used as a hotspot, absolutely free. We were provided a different houseboat which was not the one I booked for. The name was Balmoral castle. On enquiry they said that it was their sister concern. We wanted something different than the houseboat experience for this trip and the lemon tree was perfect. It is a relatively new hotel as it is a heritage hotel completely remodeled.
