Rizal Province hotels & places to stay

stayed in a twin and a single deluxe room for a night. arrived earlier prior to their standard checkin time but since rooms were already available, they let us checkin earlier. love the white interiors. finishes werent as good as luxury hotels but tolerable. beds are so comfyyyyy. love the floor to ceiling windows. theres bidet (hi luxury hotels in manila!). theres a corkage fee for outside foods so we tried their food and surprised that it taste super good. their sisig isnt dry yet it tasted like it was grilled prior. the calamari was the best for me though. their vodka is super cheap at 180 compared to those here in manila. near public market and robinsons. staff 10/10. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 only downside worth mentioning and improving on would be the - internet/wifi connection was slow - only 2 keycards provided and they wont provide another one. keycards provided should be one per person plus the keycard for the electricity, so at least 3 cards. - no peepholes in the door too.

Surprisingly, the Deluxe Room (Queen Bed) is cheap for it's price. The room is spacious and well lit. We opted for the 2 deluxe room since we're group of 5 and there is a connecting door which opens It's like a 4 star hotel. I love their service, accommodating. I love the room!! Huge and clean. Pros: Good for the price Big rooms Well lit and maintained Clean Good service Cons: Parking is limited Bad wifi

Staff was very hospitable. Only lacks is the toilet needs a bidet and a drain underneath it. Our tub was leaking somehow and it made the whole room even the outside corridor wet. Would have prevented that if there was a drain near the toilet. For the price, you can never go wrong with this hotel. It comes with breakfast too. Dont get the longganisa as. Get the tapa instead. Will go back here if I have any extended business matters near Rizal, Marikina.

Great rooms and the view is the best. Staff are very friendly. Food is great. Facilities are great. If you want to get away from the city and sleep in peace this is one option. You get a bird's eye view of the whole metro. The only downside is the way going there. You have to pass a local marketplace where the street is narrow which is also full of people and road work. You also need a capable car going up the steep mountain side road.

My husband and I stayed there for two days. Upon checkin, they welcomed us warmly. I booked via Agoda and everything was a breeze. Entered our room on the 7th floor and the room was clean and decent, except for the almost-nude-mens-magazine near the bedside table. If we brought with us our kids, it’ll be a downside. We were expecting toiletries but all we had in the bathroom is a liquid dispenser- we don’t even know if its a hand soap, body wash or shampoo. Shower was find but it takes a while when water switches to warm from cold / vis a vis. During sleep time, we can still hear noises from the outside. It wasn’t really that terrible and we were able to sleep. What I like best is their fast service. If you get thirsty at night, a water dispenser is outside each lobby. Food is also readily available with around 10 meal selections only. Snacks (noodles and junkfoods) are also available. We can also order via McDonalds with no corkage fee. Everything was a breeze upon checkout and Manong Guard (on duty on Nov20) was very friendly. Will go back to Mariposa. 👍🏻

Had a nice stay in Seven Suites Hotel Observatory. There are some things I noticed though. First, there's no refrigerator in the room. Second, the ceiling in the bathroom must be repaired. Third, the lobby area should be well ventilated. I was looking forward to the star gazing last night but the weather was bad. Also, I was disappointed when we were told that the swimming pool was under maintenance. I wanted to enjoy the pool area. The complimentary breakfast was really delicious. I loved the staff, everyone was accommodating. Overall, our stay was good. Thanks, Seven Suites Hotel!

I always enjoy staying at this hotel although, when school is out it's quite loud there late into the evening, sometimes even morning. With A/C on in the room the noise isn't too bad unless your sensitive to that sort of thing. I actually enjoy going out by the pool and watching all the families interact. This is one of the only decent hotels in the area so if you have to go there I'd consider this hotel first. There is no nightlife and almost no shopping other then street venders in Angona so don't bother with Rizal if that's what you want. There will be a new SM by 2015 but that's hardly a reason to go there.

My boyfriend and I wanted a quick getaway for the weekend. I can’t express how much I got my money’s worth for the overnight stay I booked. The whole place was nicely designed and well-maintained. We were provided with enough amenities in the room (cable TV, heater for coffee/tea, etc) so it was very comfortable. We were given wifi access but unfortunately, connection was so slow. That’s not a problem though because the place is so relaxing and serene you wouldn’t think of checking social media anymore. The location is inside a subdivision – cannot be easily missed as the gate is along the highway then you have to ride a trike to get to the residences. It overlooks Metro Manila and is a good spot to watch the sunset. Lastly, the staff was so nice and accommodating. It felt like I was given a 5-star hotel service. They even provided me sanitary napkins for free when I ran out, even when I insisted on paying. Since there are only four rooms and enough staff, guests are really being paid attention to. Will definitely recommend this!

How can one get a good night's sleep if their PA system kept paging guests even late at night?! I find this so inconsiderate of the hotel guests like me who paid for overnight accommodation yet has to bear the paging of guests who can't find their companions! Also, while my son was taking a bath, the water supply suddenly got drained! Sure there is a water crises going on in Luzon but they should've warned us ahead of time so that we could've adjusted our bath time and dinner time! Thanks to the girl staff who was so apologetic even if she wasn't the one at fault (she just arrived for her night duty when the water supply ran out). Thanks also to the young thin, male staff who fetched water from I don't know where and patiently and painstakingly brought the water in each of the rooms just so we could finish our bath, flush the toilets and wash our utensils. Actually, only thing I like about this hotel is the very friendly and polite staff, and the spacious rooms.

Just an hour travel by car from our place at Angono, Rizal. The overlooking view was breathtaking - some Pililla windmills on mountains peaking. A breath of fresh air, bountiful of trees and plants. A lot of facilities and amenities available, though we only opted to relax and unwind in our room, the pools, and the resort resto. Food was okay, pricing was average, but will recommend the tapsilog, beef bulalo and coffees. I even got a free hot choco and a birthday song. The rooms were clean, will point out the translucent shower room/restroom door that might be a privacy issue for persons or groups sharing the room. Staff were friendly and courteous, especially the morning shift. A night shift resto staff was not able to place our order so we waited for another 30mins, total of an hour (we were the only ones in the resto bar). Loved that they had a wide variety of items in store from hygiene, swimwear, souvenirs, food, skincare, and ice cream! We will definitely come back

I was hesitant to book at first after reading the reviews here but pushed through with it. And I am glad I did. The resort was clean; there were no mosquitoes; the staff were so friendly and accommodating ~ all of them; and best of all, we saw some amazing fireworks display from nearby establishments. All in all, it was a great NYE for our family! Thank you, Altaroca...

arrived on a friday which was empty as most go during the weekend. the staff greeted us at the reception desk and were extremely professional and courteous. the housekeeper personally walked us to our room. room was clean and air cond worked great. we enjoyed the best massage of my life at the spa, which was reasonably priced. enjoyed dinner in a kubo near the restaraunt. the store was closed and when we asked the restaraunt to purchase bottled water, they had their staff personally bring a cold pitcher and glasses to our room instead. i highly recommend loreland farms for a weekday getaway..

What we liked about Callospa is the accessibility of it. You can easily locate it via Google Maps or Waze. The place is also serene and private and although there were other guests you would still feel that the place is privately yours. We liked the room, it was spacious, it has TV though not cable, it has a toilet and bath, a water heater for your coffee and tea, has spacious bed and a balcony. They don't have wifi though, only in their office and mess hall. They don't have an in house restaurant so you will just have to call a delivery service for your lunch or dinner. Check in time is at 1pm and check out is at 10am. The pool was okay. The sauna was good too and the bubble bath jacuzzi, and their signature massage. We just think that they are under staff, because the staff in the office are also the ones who clean the room and do the massage. Although I commended that they can multitask and are talented, I still feel that this spa resort needs more staff.

The moment I stepped inside the premises of the hotel, I felt safe. It was gated and secured. I was a solo female traveler from USA staying in Antipolo for the very first time (4days). The check in was a breeze. Though hotel is not equipped with elevators, a kind staff helped me bring my two heavy luggages up to the second floor. Strong man! Room is clean and covers the basics. But needs major upgrading especially the shower heads, slow water heater, and bathroom drainage (tends to flood after every shower, but goes away).I loved the Aircon--strong and cool! The view from my windows was great--so tropical with remnants of a previous jungle. Lots of tricyles infront (can be noisy)but helpful for a cheap exploration of Antipolo downtown and its tourist spots. Prepare yourself to be awake during the weekends for karaoke nights, can keep you awake till after midnight. Bring an earplugs:) Price of hotel is really a big plus-- cheap--can't beat it! Though I have stayed at numerous 4-5 star hotels from the past, Femar Hotel Antipolo will always be special to me. I really felt welcomed! When we arrived at our room, there was no bathroom amenities so I thought they really dont provide but they do as I found out after. The service staff were nice and accommodating with smiling faces. They should be placed in the front office instead. I was surprised with the clear and clean swimming pool and what luck we had it all to ourselves. Honestly I didn't know there was no air conditioning so I suppose the info on the rooms were misleading. But it didn't matter as we really didn't need air-conditioning as the fan was enough. One thing though which mattered so much to our stay was that the restaurant closes as early as 7pm for dinner! And there was no other source of food but a supermarket which was about 15 plus 20 minutes away from the resort by car! So thats like equal to none. Next time we know better and we'd pack extra food and chips for the stay. Aside from an early closing, so many from their menu is not available and there were no fresh juices or drinks. I guess its not really meant as a resort or more so be called a 2star HOTEL. Menu so limited and not available. We did enjoy the few adventure activities we did like the zipline and hanging bridge. A few staff were very helpful which made our stay comfortable and better. I suggest they improve on their menu and extend the restaurant closing to at least until 9pm. Its supposed to be a leisure farm but to dine as early as 6pm is not leisurely for others. Like I said I think this is best for group bookings and company outings and they are given more attention and preparation than for couples or small groups and individuals.

This is the worst experience I had staying in a resort. The photos shown on the website were not true. The on-line booking was a disaster, the room I paid for were already occupied when we checked-in. We were given another room instead. There was no water supply in the morning, no linens and soap, shampoos, etc. and we were not allowed to use the pool. The place was noisy because of guests swimming and drinking at the poolside and the videoke happening the entire night. We were not able to sleep for two nights. This place in not a resort and only good for local guest. What a shame that Agoda is advertising this place to overseas guests. I would request for a refund or at least a formal apology from AGODA.

For the price and the "modernity", I would have expected that they at least have hot and cold shower, simple toiletries such as soap and toothbrush but they had none. The air conditioning unit in the room was also defective as well as the light switch in the bathroom which had no mirror. The place itself is nice, it's relatively new and clean, the pool looks maintained and service is quick and accommodating (we were the only guests at that time). The plated breakfast and coffee was filling & satisfying and served in our room; which was a plus in their customer service, considering the minuses stated above.

There are many pools and even a wave pool. The best part is they are all well maintained and not crowded. We felt like we rented the whole place. There is a playground too. We did not try the hanging bridge because it was raining the time we went there. The room is small for the six of us, but the aircon is working perfectly well. No tv inside the room and telephone signals are weak. Breakfast is ok. The satff are all friendly and respectful. Will come back again because of the swimming pool.

The host and staff is very friendly. They allowed us to check-in early. Highly recommended place to stay if you are on a low budget. The location is great. There are lots of bars and restaurant with overlooking the Metromanila nearby. There is also a mini grocery store on the building so it is very convenient. The room is very clean. I even asked for extra pillows. The staff and host is very accommodating and friendly. Highly recommended if you want a cheap place to stay for the night or two. Will be back again when we visit Antipolo.

The place is clean and allows for a comfortable stay. The owner(s) are nice, too. They prepared towels and toiletries for us. It’s really a small house; if I need to stay in the area for a long time I would choose their place. I suppose a family of four can fit. Only hiccups are the ventilation and there is no airconditioning. Also the outlets in the rooms are not planned well so we had to open the door and plug the electric fan from the dining/ living area. Probably an extension box would be needed. We also found it hard to find the place because the pinned coordinates sent to us was wrong (haha), since place is not exactly in the MH Del Pilar street but along the dead-ended street beside it. Just ask for the Alberto III apartments. They offer parking for an additional 120 pesos but, the place is more ideal for backpackers or motorcycle travellers. Overall, not a bad experience. Would be back if ever I’m returning to tour the area again.
