Where to stay in Siquijor
Siquijor hotels & accommodations
This was out first trip to Siquijor, and we absolutely loved it. Coco Grove is a beautiful resort with multiple restaurants, bars, pools and lobbies. That would normally put me off, but CG is different. You can explore the resort and the different attractions and facilities quite easily. The grounds are immaculate and peaceful to wander through. There are many species...
White Villas may be the best located accommodation on Siquijor Island, - it is situated on the long, scenic San Juan beach: - we had convenient 20-minute tricycle journey from Siquijor Port and 30-minutes to Lareno Port - two excellent restaurants are within easy walking distance - atmospheric Monkey Business and Dagsa Service was friendly Breakfast is a limited s...
Wonderful and brand new hotel in Siquijor. Best place for total relaxing and sunny hours on your personal terrace or alongside the pool. Ideal for couples or single travelers (I would not suggest it to family with kids) Very friendly and helpful staff, they even offer great massage service (eventhough you won't find any advertising for that) Two small downsides: not en...
We stayed there for almost a week and it was the best we could wish, nice and helpful staff, motorbike for rent for reasonable price, location close to the Siquijor town, swimming pool - even though it has sea water inside, it was clean and pleasant to swim there, but the slide didn't work. Also the food was really tasty, we liked chicken curry and pizza, delicious. To...
We loved our 5 nights at Kawayan Holiday Resort. It's a very peaceful resort, on the cliff overlooking their house reef. Great sunsets to be enjoyed from the infinity pool (with bar). The staff are excellent, very attentive and good humoured. Jan and Cherry kept us entertained in the evenings! The food was great, with a different menu every evening. We did a SCUBA po...
I had never been to Siquijor and wasn't sure what sort of accommodation to book, in the end I chose Treasure Island because of its mid price, sunset location and good reviews. On the main road, so easy to find and to get around, and fronting a nice beach facing the sunset, we were made to feel welcome on arrival and were quickly shown to our room, upstairs facing the s...
Golden View is placed in the southern side of the island, conveniently 15 minutes drive from Port Siquijor. It has a small, but nice private beach. What was the highlight of my stay was the staff. They are extremely nice, friendly and helping people. I've got stranded on Siquijor due to a typhoon, but did not mind at all at the end. They helped me with everything and e...
My guests wanted a quiet place in Siquijor to relax. I found a beach resort suitable for their liking. Islandia Beach Resort was just a good choice. The only noise I heard during our stay was the crashing waves. Like all other properties, the Garden View Cottage I booked was very spacious and high ceiling. Bed was comfy. Room has an air-con aside from the ceiling fan....
My boyfriend and I stayed at Kalachuchi for 4 nights, with the intention of getting some serious rest and relaxation. Mission accomplished! The hotel is beautifully located on the northern tip of Siquijor, with a stunning view (accompanied by a lot of wind) of the open sea. It's pretty isolated, with barely any neighbors, shaky wifi and cell signal and every so often a...
According to the staff and our tour guide the months of June-November are the non-recommended months to visit San Juan. The reason for that is, the beach isn't pristine. There were a lot of seaweeds and the waves are too strong. So, they said that during these months, you have to book your hotel in Siquijor, Siquijor. Now, from December-May, you can surely book the r...
I was welcomed so warmly immediately when I arrived. The room was so spacious and sparkling clean. Everyone working in this place is incredible friendly and nice. And the beach in front of the accommodation is the most beautiful in Siquijor!
Im not expecting anything about this hotel , but when we arrived i was really amazed . The place was well maintained, great beach , they have an infinity pool with the view of the sea , a good restaurant inside and its very near to siquijor port. I think one of d best accommodation in siquijor considering the location and affordability..
Siquijor is a quiet place and accommodation is resort style - there is little in the way of a hub of places to stay. Adayo Cove fits that fill and is a nice quiet getaway. There is access to the water, although it's not a beach - so you need water shoes. Emely is the caretaker and she is awesome. She contacted the owner to lend me snorkeling gear, she and her husband ...
We enjoyed our stay at the resort with our daughter. We swam at the beach and the resort swimming pool. For 3 days and 2 nights vacation was worth it. Their staff and the management were very courteous and the customer service was the best. The resort offered car pickup from Siquijor Island Ferry Dock both ways for small fees, and this made it easy to travel to the res...
Very fantastic, great hotel in Siquijor! Comfortable beds, nice working aircon, nice working hot showers, TV with many channels, good wifi even in room, great, pleasant staff, and very near to the beach! The beach is a very nice, white sand beach in Siquijor! Near the Rainbow Lodge restaurant for lunch and dinners! They serve very good burgers over there! Will recom...
located beachside so you can hear the relaxing sound of the sea at night. they also offer kayaks for guests. though during our stay, it was Habagat season (west/southwest wind?) so the beach is not feasible for swimming. according to locals, this occur during Jun-Oct, but you can go to other parts of the island for swimming and snorkeling. siquijor is a small island an...
The place is not super modern or big which is what you come here for ... If that's not what your looking for, Siquijor has other resorts that might fit ... We stayed 5 nights at one of the ocean front cottages in the local style. It had a nice porch that is directly at the beach/ocean and on high tide waves come crushing to your door step. Porch has a hammock, table a...
We would have to say this is THE NICEST place we have stayed in the Philippines so far. As you walk out the door the view is BREATHTAKING!! They have two hammocks set up along with chairs to hold your cold or hot drinks. The rooms have a kitchenette, Ref, Stove, TV, wardrobe etc. So you have EVERYTHING you need if you want to save money on food or cook while you are th...
Went for a short vacation in Siquijor and booked at EM’s Seaside Inn last October 25. Such a comfortable place to stay in after an exhausted travel! Friendly and accommodating staff plus good and tasty foods! A pleasant amenity at low price!! Highly recommended 👍🏼
Pros: The double room with private bathroom was clean, big and not expensive. The food at their restaurant is very good. Especially the sandwiches are the best I've eaten in four weeks traveling through the Philippines. The hostel by itself offers diving courses, fun dives etc. For divers, toris backpackers is the palace to be at siquijor island. If the the sea is roug...
Stayed here 2 nights while in Siquijor. About a 15min tricycle ride from the pier, walkable to nearby restaurants. The lady at the front desk had no idea who we were when we first arrived and our names weren’t recorded anywhere but thankfully there was still a room open. Very nice room that was clean, fan only. Some cockroaches when the lights are off so just wear san...
This was a last minute booking and was the best decision we made. The staff are wonderful, so friendly and accommodating. The food and drinks are delicious, especially when overlooking the sunset between palm trees. They also have live music which was fantastic, such talented people! The rooms were big, clean and had everything you could need. Highly recommend!
We came by ferry from Cebu City to Tagbilaran, to Larena Siquijor... It was a four hour journey as opposed to a seven or eight hour trip through Dumaguete to Siguijor… When arriving at Oceanlife, we were greeted by staff members who took our bags, and we were given a welcome drink... We were there a little early... 2pm is the normal check in time for hotels and resorts...
+ —Hotel is new and the rooms are big and clean —We got always free water in the reception. —Phillipino breakfast was also good. They take it to the room. —The staff of the hotel were friendly and helpful. They helped us to plan our trip in Siquijor and provide assistance for booking in Oslob. — Motorbyke Rent Service from the hotel was also convenient
I liked this place alot. Very simple but comfortable. lots of fans in the room. nice semi outdoor bathrooms which is always nice. small hostel with a small common area outside and a small cafe/restaurant. I'd have stayed longer but it was booked. Siquijor is very cool. Great restaurant right down the road. Best food I've had in Philippines. Take a left out of C...
Our couple trip was just spontaneous and we didn't booked accommodation ahead of time, it just depends on what Agoda is suggesting. We were so glad to have bump into James Homestay as it is really a home away from home, near the port of Siquijor and staff are friendly and accommodating. They also offer Motorcycle for Rent for 300.00, since the whole province of Siquijo...
Please note that when travelling to Siquijor, you should take an earlier ferry. We made the mistake of catching the last Ocean Jet trip, so the jeep that goes to Lazi no longer operates. We chartered a tricycle for 600 pesos. Not sure if that is cheap or expensive tbh, but we feel it’s alright because Lazi is quite far from the port. Siquijor is best explored in motorb...
Staff are all extremely friendly and kind - a lovely family. All food was excellent and cheap. Location is beautiful with a private beach, it is very secluded which we loved. Perfect paradise escape.
We came over without a lot of advance planning, so this seemed a pretty good choice for the cost. However, the location is not so good. The only decent food option is up the hill at a much more expensive hotel, so it would cost a lot to go there for all your meals. Going into town is about a 20 minute ride in. If you use this hotel, you almost surely want to rent a...
Cheap places to stay in Siquijor
I strongly recommend this hotel if you stay in Siquijor for 2 reasons: 1- The location: it is about 15 minutes by working from Siquijor Port. So from there it is very easy to travel around others island if you stay long in Philippines. You have an hospital just behind the hotel and market just near by the port. In fact everyone on the Island knows about Das Traum Gues...
This is one of the best hostels till yet. The owner was was very kind and helpful, the drinks in the room are really cheap and even to rent a scooter in this hostel is cheap. You almost can ask everything for help , where to go , wat to do and with the scooter , you can visit every point on this island. If you think to stay on this Island, please this hostel is the pla...

rough but safe and comfortable and best value for money on island
Xylla's homestay is by far the most amazing place to stay in Siquijor! It is located in a more local and quiet area of the island close to all the waterfalls and beaches. Lazi town is a 10mins scooter ride away. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The owner Marina, her family and her staff are the loveliest, kindest and very hospitable people. The food in the re...

We got stuck in Siquijor due to a passing storm, but we were more than happy to stay at Cliff Side for an extra night. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable with a view of the rough ocean! We would highly recommend a stay here!

Calunsag Residence is located in a great spot where its not too far away from the main town and not too close. The owner is friendly as well as her staffs and willing to help and accommodate the best way possible. The house is neat and clean. You can cook and use anything in the kitchen ... Ref, Oven, Utensils etc. Would recommend staying here if you wanna relax a...
The owners are kind and very accommodating! The room is cozy and clean. Elend's Kraal has a nice view of the Siquijor coastline.

Comfortable bed good TV good location but watch out for the little ants bite and you have to remember no hot water
The hotel itself has a very high potential, it's pity that finishing work is not done yet, so we were enjoying the view with the mountain of cement in the middle of the garden. However the room is spacious and comfortable, but it didn't include the daily cleaning... so I would say overpriced for the non-service included. The owners should take out also all the ads men...

The room is basic and clean, and diving spots are just in the front of the hotel beach. I saw corals and turtles. If there is hot water shower, it will be perfect.
The rooms were very bsic but clean and the air-conditioning worked. It was only a 10 minute walk from the ferry so it was great for our late night arrival. Friendly staff and they even helped us find a place on the beach for our next stop.

I was there with four friends. Tree of my friends got the room in front of the pool and it was so cozy and with the most incredible view! Me and my friend got a room on top of the hill, quite a distance from the pool and restaurant but it was okay. When we got the room we got a bit disappointed, the wall was broken and it all looked a bit messy, but alright it was chea...
