      Nice hotel with good price”

      Location, price, good beds

this is a 2 star hotel/hostel only 10mins away on foot from the bsi bus station. also it is only 5mins away from halgrimskirkja church and 15mins from the city centre. so it has excellent location and the price is fine when you have in mind the price of accommodation in reykjavik. beds were comfortable, it was warm, clean and the breakfast was also ok. would stay there again.

      Matress

A superb location in Centre of reykjavik (which has a superb bus network!). Rooms clean and quiet. Shared bathroom are clean and good showers. Breakfast basic but as expected. Staff very friendly and very helpful. Would recommend highly for budget travellers or those in large groups. Had a member of the party in the apartment which was very good value for money.

      pleasant stay”

Me and my boyfriend enjoyed our stay for four days at hostel village. It is very close to downtown reykjavik(10 mins walk) and there are two main supermarkets (bonus being the cheapest one) near as well. When doing tours, this hostel is on their list of pick up points which is handy if you have to wake up early for a tour. They have a kitchen so you can cook and not spend too much money in restaurants ( iceland is quite expensive so try and save the money for tours and cooler experiences than food!) They have a luggage storage (from 8am till 4pm) if you have a late flight and do not want to take your luggage everywhere, giving you a chance to explore reykjavik a bit more. The bathrooms are cleaned quite frequently so i was pleased with that. Don't worry if the water smells funny, it's how it is in iceland. The only thing i wasn't pleased about were the beds because we wanted a double bed but got two single beds put next to each other. Apart from that, I am quite happy with it :)

      Great location, good value”

Located close to city centre and not far to walk to tourist sights. Close by to bus stops that tours pick you up from, not far from main bus station as well. Value is good for Reykjavik prices, good for the basic traveller.
