When arriving at the counter, just present your passport and the staff will verify the details of your reservation, number of guests, and other accommodation details. It's recommended to bring a credit card as a security deposit of $500 per night is required, which will be multiplied by the number of nights. However, if you prefer to pay in cash, you can do so, but you need to exchange it for the exact amount. The staff provides excellent service. You can leave your luggage before check-in time (2pm) and collect the key card in the evening to access your room. The room is as shown in the pictures - clean and spacious. The bathroom is divided into dry and wet areas, and there is a clothes ironing table with an iron for female guests. The hairdryer is in the drawer near the sink and cannot be removed for use outside. The shower area is convenient, and there is a coffee maker with a kettle for hot water. Most importantly, there is a separate tap for drinking or boiling water for hot beverages. All the equipment is clean, and the towels are changed daily. After a long day of sightseeing, it's relaxing to use the swimming pool. There is a compact hot tub area that can accommodate about 10 people. It's very comfortable and relaxing. Oh, I almost forgot, there is also a sauna room available. The male and female areas are clearly separated, and there are dressing rooms with bathing facilities, hairdryers, and combs for guests to use after showering. It's definitely worth it. The hotel is located in a shopping mall, so you can find food and drinks easily. The MTR subway station and bus station are right next to the mall, so it's very convenient and you don't have to walk far. It's a shopping area for bags, shoes, food, and drinks in Mongkok. At night, you can walk from the hotel to the shopping area in about 15 minutes. When I booked, I chose the Family room without breakfast for 6 nights. The total cost was around 31,000 Thai Baht, which was a bit expensive. During check-out, it only took about 5 minutes to complete. The hotel staff called a taxi for me to go to the Airport Express Kowloon Station to catch my flight. It was convenient and quick, and I didn't have to drag my luggage far. The taxi fare was less than $60. The only downside is that they don't provide bottled drinking water, so you have to buy it yourself. There is also no bidet spray available.

Checked in the night before my birthday (check-out day was my birthday). We didn't inform the front desk that it was my birthday, but they must have seen it in my passport and wished me a happy birthday in advance. They even upgraded our room by one level. After checking in, we went out to explore and the staff told us we could leave our bags and they would bring them up to the room (which we understood to be a normal service for this level of hotel). But to our surprise, when we returned to the room, there was a chocolate cake with a Happy Birthday sign and even roses placed in the bathroom for us to float in the bathtub. We felt really great about this pre-birthday surprise. It was a complete pre-birthday experience.

Famous streets such as Ladies' Market, Goldfish Market, and Sneaker Street can be reached within 5-10 minutes by foot via pedestrian bridges. It is very convenient to walk to Mong Kok and Prince Edward MTR stations without the need to transfer lines. If I visit Hong Kong again, I would continue to stay at the Royal Plaza Hotel.

Has all the necessities from room slippers, to extra pillows, to hair dryer, and even an iron for clothes. There was also a safe box but it was defective, but it was not a big deal for us. The beds were very soft and comfortable. No insects. No foul odor. The view from the room was also great, as you could see the HK skyline and mountains. I liked how they had a comfy window nook in each room. The bathroom also had a bath tub and shower, with bath liquid soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Other facilites: they also have a gym at the 8th floor but we weren't able to use it. Safety: Our room was situated right next to a fire exit which was good. During our last night there, the fire drill was triggered and the hotel staff were very quick to respond. Fortunately it was a false alarm. I would like to commend the staff for their very good response. Very impressed. Overall: I highly recommend this hotel. and I will probably be booking here again during my next visit to Hong Kong.

The hotel was located in a very convenient area. Not only was it connected to the Mong Kok East station, it was also connected by a very long and shady pedestrian bridge to Mong Kok station and also in walking distance to Prince Edward station. It was also attached to the MoKo mall, providing you a multitude of options for food, drinks, and shopping. No need to pay for breakfast because you have bread shops, coffee shops, and even cha chaan tengs just next door. Because it was in such a good location, we had great access to taxis as well, as they were just queuing up outside the hotel and mall. The hotel staff was very helpful. They allowed us to store our luggage at the concierge and offered to bring up out luggage at check-in. They helped us get a taxi and allowed us to extend our check out time by an hour. We didn't use the facilities at all, but I noticed that there was a desk to accept food delivery orders. Our room was big and clean, but our only complaint was that the plugs on the walls were very finnicky. The plugs by the beds were not working, the USB 3.0 plug by the desk worked only sometimes, and the plugs by the TV worked, but the cover for the plugs made it very difficult to securely attach the adapters to the wall without it disconnecting. Overall, extremely great value for money, clean, and accessible with only minor flaws.
