Great hotel close to BTS with friendly staff”

i love the convenient of being able to take a 10 minutes walk to asok station and catch a bts. i'm more of a public transport traveller, and prefer a bus/train to a taxi. the hotel is just off the main sukhumvit road, so if you need to catch a taxi it is pretty simple. the hotel is also walking distance, 10-15 minutes, to some of the famous night clubs like bed superclub and narz. the deluxe room is decently sized. i don't spend a lot of time in the bathroom and review a lot of them but i considered the bathroom to be spacious. there is a pool and a small gym as well with a few upper body machines and a bench. i found the breakfast to be good and as well as the room service for the price. apologies to the chef that we must of woken up 2-3 times at 3am :) this is second time i have stayed at royal president, and the staff are as helpful and friendly as the first time. although this time the rate was higher due the busy travelling season. i would definitely stay here again if

Quiet hotel with great staff.”

The Royal President Hotel is an older facility, and the rooms show a little wear and tear, but the facility itself is very nice. The staff is efficient, friendly, and very helpful. The tuk tuk runs every 30 minutes, except between the hours of 1400 and 1600, and drops you off at Terminal 21, the newest of the shopping malls in Bangkok. It is an easy walk to Sukhumvit but watch for traffic because the sidewalk is non-existant in places. It is a very safe and quiet place, with lots of entertainment close by.

Good location for shopping”

We booked the Royal President as we wanted to be close to the skytrain so that we could travel around the city easily. A short 5 minute stroll reaches Sukhumvit Road and a choice of either Nana or Asoke stations. The hotel staff are all very friendly and check in was done very quickly. The room (Deluxe) was quite large, certainly large enough for us and had good amenities. We only tried the breakfast once during our 4 night stay but it was fine, with a reasonable choice for most tastes. The meals were also quite reasonably priced in the restaurant so we had some friends come there for dinner as well as dining outside. The pool is very small but is still a good place to cool down and there is also a roof terrace beside it for those who like to sunbathe. We liked the hotel and the staff and will consider staying there again for sure - after the construction next door is finished.

My family stay was as good as it gets! My wife and I love to stat at the Royal President Hotel because of the accommodation from the room to the service is always the best. We do business in Bangkok and enjoy the food of Bangkok. Our family we bring enjoy the swimming pool and the location of shopping and attractions near the hotel. In a few words the Royal President Hotel Bangkok is one of the best life experience in all of Bangkok Thailand

Simply, ...mostly the best.... Except?”

Yes, this hotel has been my home away from home for over 15 years and I travel to Thailand often. The facilities are barren but the breakfast is good with the reception, housekeeping being excellent. I love the royal president hotel, except for one thing. The breakfast area still continues to have Fake News US propaganda station CNN being played at breakfast from 8 to 10. CNN is anti half of America that voted for Trump, Anti Chinese, Anti Russian, Anti Indian, and ANTI THIA GOV! Surely the lovely manager can put some less offensive station on like Asia news or even Thai stations or better yet music. Truly for some tourists, CNN Fake news is an abomination to intellect across Asia! Other than this petty matter the Royal President Hotel and her Staff are SUPERB!

A perfect affordable hotel in a fantastic location”

The Royal President is the perfect hotel choice for those wanting to be in a central location on Sukhumvit Road at a very affordable price. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful, willing to give advice on any of your queries. I managed to lock myself out of my room safe at approx 10pm one evening and the very polite manager resolved the issue within the hour with no complaints at all, nice guy The spacious rooms and the entire hotel is kept spotlessly clean and the security guys do an excellent job of watchng over things, In all a very enjoyable stay that is made so pleasant by the staff's good nature and genuine friendly attitude towards all, Many thanks, see you again soon!

Great budget hotel, Lovely staff, decent location.”

This was our third stay at the Royal President. Every time it seems to get better. The hotel itself looks really upmarket and the marble floors and walls accentuate this. There is a pool and spa area as well as a free gymnasium for those who like to work out. The rooms all seem spacious with no insects to be seen. The buffet breakfast is sumptious offering both Oriental and Western options which changes a bit each morning. The hotel offers a courtesy tuktuk to get you to Asok skytrain, Asok also has an interesting themed shopping centre known as terminal 21, each floor is themed on a different country of the world. Try eating on the 5th floor if you like cheap but safe Thai street type food. The staff at the Royal president are possibly it's greatest asset, they are attentive, polite and will help you as best they can. We felt the staff were more like friends by the time of our departure. So all in all a great experience. My wife and myself would urge anyone to give this place a try. for $50-60 a night it's a steal!

We chose The Royal President Hotel because it fit our budget and got great reviews. The reviews turned out to be very accurate. The hotel is a terrific value for your money. The staff and food in the restaurant were wonderful, they were so friendly and helpful. Even the breakfast buffet was good and that's difficult to find. Hotel well-situated in the heart of Sukhumvit”

the royal president hotel is a 'value-for-money' hotel that is well-situated in the heart of sukhumvit, close to great shopping, street stalls, many restaurants and bars. the hotel offers a complimenary 'tuk-tuk' (open taxi) shuttle service that will readily take you to many parts of sukhumvit. the rooms are spacious and clean and many have a small cooking area that can be a boon after a hard day on the streets! we found the staff to very friendly and helpful and the standard of english acceptable. both the spa and the fitness centre looked good - but we didn't partake of either on this trip

My go to hotel whenever I'm in Bangkok”

My stay at the Royal President was pleasant and restful. I always stay here when I'm in Bangkok because its location, even thought its about 200 meters from Sukhumvit on a narrow soi,is accessible to the MRT (Subway), the BTS (Train), Terminal 21 Mall ( with many restaurants, movie theater and shops}, Robinson's and of course, Sukhumvit Road with many sites to behold. Most important, the staff makes you feel comfortable and welcome. And the hotel offers a Tuk Tuk shuttle to the subway and mall. Accordingly, The Royal President Hotel is my go to hotel when I'm in Bangkok for a day or a week or two.

Very spacious accomodation”

I really enjoyed my first stay at the Royal President Suites. The accomodation was larger and more spacious than I had expected! and contained everything you could need! including a nice microwave oven, ironing board and iron. The bedroom was large also with access to bathroom. Just a ten minute stroll to Sukhumvit and it's restaurants and nightlife.. If you wanted to be picky, you could say that the paintwork needed a bit of TLC here and there but for me, for the price I paid, it was tremendous value for money. I will definitely come back her on my next visit to Bangkok.

well the fact that i am once again writing a review for the royal president will tell you how much i love this hotel. the staff always remember me and my wife and their friendliness never changes. the meals seem to be getting better and i feel a relief when i get back to the hotel after the hectic bangkok traffic.good work again royal president, see you again in december.

Hotel with huge rooms @ great location”

this is my 2nd stay at royal president hotel bkk, it never fails to impress me with their great service and wonderful location. 4 of us shared a family suite which provides a generous living space in the apartment for all of us, with full kitchen facilities, 2 en-suite bedrooms. the breakfast buffet is great with good variety of food to choose from and i cant stop re-emphasizing of how friendly the staffs are. although the hotel is situated further in of soi 15, the hotel actually provides free tuk-tuk service for their guest to and fro nana and asok bts station, which is roughly 10mins walk away. i would definitely recommend this hotel to my other friends.

Large comfortable room in centrally located hotel”

I have stayed at Royal President the last few times in Bangkok and will continue to do so next time I'm in the city. I love that it is so close to both the BTS and MRT. This gives me to option to take the train to the hotel instead of a taxi when coming from Suvarnabhumi Airport. The staff are very understanding and always willing to assist. If you spend a lot of time in the hotel room, and the room decor is a concern. Make sure you book one of the rooms in the main new building. I have stayed in both new and old wing. The old wing does have its charms but you will need to walk to the new wing to use the facilities and have breakfast.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Royal President and after racking my brains i still couldn't really find any faults at all. Ok the hotel/rooms are a little older than some maybe but they are nice & spacious,kept spotlessly clean and have every amenity you could possibly want , on -site is a mini-mart and a couple of doors up is 7/11. The guys on the door are very helpful and courteous as are the ladies on reception,,So all in all a fantastic & affordable place to stay in the middle of sukhumvit road that i would high;y recommend.

The Royal President is a fabulous hotel. Great service. Convienient location near transportation, shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. Clean large rooms with full kitchens. Laundromat, convience store, and restaurant onsite. They have everything at a great price. I do not evenconsider another hotel when I travel to Bangkok.

Best located hotel with top reception and general staff”

I hate to rate the Royal President Hotel, I love this place so much I would loathe more people than it can handle. It is fully booked most of the time by regular guests.....so why advertise for more? Still for and behalf of the reception staff and all the general staff, including house keeping that takes of me, thank you so much, Kapon Kup! A truly good place to stay ( warm) with breakfast being very good as well,(except the breakfast room puts on CNN which is as we all know FAKE NEWS)...they should play music instead of US propaganda. I should add very well run...staff are happy which means they can make you happy!

Consistently good management, services,food & spanning years ”

Over the last decade or more I have stayed at the Royal President & her sister hotel Kingston (nest door) and have found the supervisory staff at reception (& ground working staff) excellent at their job. But this time I recently discovered after a decade or so of not eating at the restaurant, that indeed when requesting authentic Thai dishes (as opposed to western tastes) that the cook could and did deliver excellent Thai spicy meals. Actually a pleasant surprise! ....To me the Royal President is home!...And a very happy home indeed.

Royal President is a winner”

Originally had paid for a junior suite, but when I checked in, found the suite to be dated and past its prime. Couldn't get the hot water to work in the bath tub, so I switched rooms. The staff at the front desk were helpful and polite, but informed me that all the junior suites were similar to the one I had just vacated and all were in the same building. I accepted a down-grade without any refund, but was very happy with the room I was given. Nice room that was clean and pretty up to date. Location of the Royal President is about 1/2mile from Sukhumvit proper, and the sky train, so the tuk tuk is nice to have for the outbound portion of the daily excursion. On the way back you can call for a pick up, but the walk is not bad at all. The staff and facilities were very good. Wish they had wi-fi in the room, rather than only in the lobby. since my iPhone was the only way I had to connect with the office, other than using the in-house computer and internet service. Breakfast each morning was a joy. A good array of fresh fruits, yogurt, eggs made to order, cereals, toast, danish and a nice buffet of more savory dishes that changes daily. I stayed for a week and ate every breakfast at the hotel.
