More than a just Hotel room”

s31 is a great boutique style hotel with large apartment style rooms. the hotel is only about 2 years old so it's still modern and fresh. i've stayed in both the 2 story duplex room and the panorama view suite, which is larger but really only on 1 level except for the enterance downstairs. the panorama suite does have large curved windows that provide sweeping views of the banhkok skyline. the hotel is located in an excellent location on sukhumvit, just a short walk from the bustling street side market, but also very close to a villa supermarket and the bts sky train station and the impressive but slightly expensive emporium shopping mall. i travel to bangkok atleast 4 times every year and s31 is my hotel of preference because of the large rooms, decor and staff.

Comfortable hotel in a great location”

let's face it, just about every hotel in thailand has friendly staff but i found the staff at the s31 hotel to be not only friendly but unobtrusive and very helpful. i particularly have to mention the front office manager ms thaiyamart because she showed a true interest in my stay being comfortable and on check-out asked for opinions on the hotel and services - and for the first time ever i saw a hotel take notes and thank me for the input. the hotel rooms are very comfortable and spacious which is essential for me when i'm traveling for business. the desk in the room i was in was a little small but functional - but ultimately a minor detail. there is a very nice coffee shop on the ground level lobby which has nice coffee and a very nice selection of cakes. i also have to mention the cold herbal tea drink (lemongrass with sweet basil seeds i think) which was a real delight on check-in. it is positioned between two skytrain stations (asok being one of them) and both are a short walk away. as the hotel is located in sukhumvit it is easy to walk out and grab a taxi of a motorbike at any time of the day or night. one of the huge benefits of this hotel is it being located near many very nice restaurants, banks and other services. i've stayed at other hotels on soi asok and was disappointed to find it wasn't so easy to find a variety of places to eat as easily as i found at s31 hotel. i really enjoyed my stay in the hotel and will definitely stay there again.

Superb hotel with great location”

I stayed for 5 nights at S31, 1 night at Lebua State Tower during my Bangkok trip and I can say S31 totally blows the more expensive Lebua away with its excellent service, great location and unbelievably reasonable rate! Not to mention its located at Bangkok most happening place, Sukhumvit! Rooms are very clean and comfortable with great modern design. The breakfast served at the hotel restaurant every morning comes with a great selection of foods too. Location wise it's a 5 mins walk from the nearest Phrom Phong BTS (Skytrain) station, where there's a supermarket along the way that opens for 24 hours, very convenient. This is the hotel I'll want to stay again my next trip to Bangkok!

Great location with awesome room”

Stayed over at S31 Sukhumvit Hotel for the first time and the experience was purely awesome! Staff at the Reception was really friendly with a smile on their face without fail. Room was really clean, comfortable and spacious. The bed was really HUGE and comfortable as well. Location wise, its really convenient as its about a 10 - 15 mins walk to Asok BTS which is in front of Terminal 21. I will definitely go back to S31 Sukhumvit Hotel with my partner the next time when we visit BKK!

Lovely Hotel”

I stayed only one night at the S31 Sukhumvit Hotel but I wish I would have booked additional nights. The duplex room was modern, clean, very big (split level) and the bed was huge. The staff was professional and extremely pleasant. I was able to use the computer room at my leisure with no interruption. The only Con was the air conditioner, which was very loud for some reason. This was an excellent value for the price, which included a buffet breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent value and service”

I travel to Bangkok frequently every year and the S31 hotel is arguably the Best Hotel and value I've experienced in the last 5 years. Located on Sukhumvit 31, it's quite central to many attractions, shopping and restuarants. But most impressive was the room, I stayed in a 2 level room on the 18th floor and it was magnificent with a great view. The hotel is only 6 months old, so everything is still new. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, including housekeeping who had no problem cleaning my room at requested times.

A wonderful hotel, I would go back.”

We really enjoyed our stay at S31 and would definitely go back again. It is located in the heart of Sukhumvit, which is a great area for nightlife and close to shopping too. The hotel is pretty close to two Skytrain stations, and it would take no longer than 5 or 10 minutes to walk to these, which makes it really convenient to get around Bangkok. It's also close to the underground station, although I didn't use this. The hotel and the rooms are beautiful and very modern and clean. Staff performance was great and they are very helpful with any questions you might have. Buffet breakfast is good.

Little-known Gem”

Again, an excellent stay at the S31 Sukhumvit. This hotel seems to have a rising profile, as travelers discover the great rooms and service at a very reasonable price. No complaints about S31 - from check-in, concierge, room service to the unique room design and peaceful environment of the hotel, I'm a big fan!

LUXURY ”

I love the smell a lot. Check-in lobby at 8th floor, I also have to mention the cold herbal tea drink (lemongrass with sweet basil seeds I think) which was a real delight on check-in. S31 is positioned between two BTS stations (Asoke and Phrom Phong) and both are a short walk away. As the hotel is located in Sukhumvit it is easy to walk out and grab a taxi of a motorbike at any time of the day or night. One of the huge benefits of this hotel is it being located near many very nice restaurants, banks and other services. The duplex room is so great because it have 2nd floor. I really love it!!! Nevertheless, I have try spa at senses spa. Must try it. The pool was very nice and the gym with kickboxing was great.

i had lived in bangkok for 6 years. upon moving home, i stayed at s31 hotel for a week while i finished my packing, etc. the room which was 1 level under the presidential suite was very nice. the views were great....the bed was the biggest king i have seen and was very comfortable. the room service i ate 3 or 4 times (thai food) was very good and very reasonably priced. there were a few small nit-picky items that i was disappointed in but that should reflect poorly on the hotel: this was a two-level room/suite. there was only 1 waste basket by the toilet...not under the sink or by the bed. the lighting in the bathroom was bad. the media system for the tv/music was terrible and barely worked. the blinds which must have been 30 feet high/long were manual without even a cord...so you had to pull them/drag them open/closed. they should be automatic. Honestly, had I not received the Agoda discount, I would have paid higher per night retail rack rate for this room.

Service and Style in the Sky”

It was an unexpected visit to the S31 hotel, as our accommodation at Le Raffine (right next door) had changed by a couple of days, and what a pleasant couple of days they turned out to be. As I do allot of business travel, my hotel experience is relatively vast. My first thought is that, the Thai’s do hospitality so much better than Aussies. From the moment we entered S31 hotel royal treatment was bestowed upon us. Bags promptly collected, and we were ushered to reception on level 8, where as our booking details were retrieved tea and biscuits were offered. All the staff at reception made eye contact and welcomed us. The process took just a few minutes and we were taken to our Junior sweet. Junior Suite is somewhat of an oxymoron as it implies small, however, the suite was spacious and consisted four separate areas on two levels. Landing and stair well at the entrance, up the stairs to a Kitchenette, king size bed and bedroom (with lounge), and bathroom. Admittedly the bath would have suited a mini-me, but, I am a shower kind of guy anyway and the pool just outside reception is a fantastic alternative. I used the gym both mornings, and although some of the equipment was a bit squeaky on the first, by the second it was no longer. The breakfast was sensational, with a large selection of foods from the globe. One down point was that there seemed to be three or four versions of ‘old lang syne’ on high rotation in the general areas of the hotel for both days. Being a music snob I found this vexing especially as no one new how to stop it. Overall I could rate this a 10 out of 10, but will give a nine, as I said previously, it upsets me that I don’t get to wake up there every day!

Large room, helpful staff, central location”

We decided to take the express rail link from the airport to the city. We were surprised to realise though, that the trains only run hourly and the train station in the city does not connect to the BTS sky train system. However, we waited about 20 mins for the city train (which runs on the same line as the express train but makes 6 stops along the way meaning it is not express and takes 30 mins instead of 15 mins). When we arrived at Makassan station in the city we still needed to take a taxi to Sukhumvit. Which we did and it only took 20 minutes. The hotel is in a great location and very easy to find. The hotel is on Sukhumvit Road which runs directly below the BTS line. There are 2 BTS stations within a 10 minute walk from the hotel, Nana in one direction and Asok in the other. There is a supermarket about 6 mins walk and a park/pubs/restaurants/coffee shops all within 10 mins walk away. The hotel is clean and modern, the staff are friendly and speak good English. The room is really big and modern. The bed is huge and really comfortable. We were only there for one night so the duplex, mini apartment concept was a little wasted on us. It's a nice design though and great to have a full size fridge, iPod dock, 2 TV's and 2 toilets. The breakfast area was well stocked and had a good choice of foods. Unfortunately, the staff were really inattentive. We seated ourselves, we had to ask for coffee, we had to ask for a knife to cut the bread, the egg chef was preoccupied. Not a big problem but a little frustrating. Overall we had a really enjoyable stay, we got to see and do a lot whilst we were in Bangkok due to the convenience and great location of our hotel. We would recommend to our friends.

First time staying at S31”

Decided to try S31 Sukhumvit Hotel for a change. And all I can say is WOW! From the first time I check-in into the hotel and check-out, everything is perfect. Fast checking in and out process. Staff are always greeting you with a smile. And their breakfast are very good. The deluxe room is just perfect. It's a perfect hotel

Fantastic stay at S31”

My fiance and I had an excellent stay at S31. We stayed in the Duplex Suite for 4 nights. The room was incredible!! The hotel was in a great location too - only a short walk to the BTS skytrain and MRT. There were lots of restaurants close to the hotel as well. We got room service on our first night and it was quite good! Overall we had an excellent stay in Bangkok at S31. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our family and friends and will stay again if we are ever in Bangkok again.

great hotel!”

i had a great stay at s31. took the duplex suite and it was nice and spacious, with a good water pressure. the mini bar is well stocked and the rooms well maintained. i also found the staff to be friendly and helpful and the hotel gave a very nice breakfast buffet. overall, it definitely was worth it to stay at s31, and i will definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit to bangkok. the only thing the hotel needs improvement are the bath towels. i feel they should provide better quality towels for the rooms.

Pleasant stay”

I only stayed one night in the duplex suite, for the reduced price it was worth it, however at full price not so much so, very comfortable, I really enjoyed my stay, the location is excellent for those wishing to explore the sukhumvit area, wifi worked and worked reasonably well, if the room is on a deal, take it, you wont be disappointed. The S31 Sukhumvit hotel is conveniently located in the central Bangkok near the subway. It is only few minutes walk to the subway station and a very famous and luxurious shopping center the Emporium Tower.

Great view!!”

I stayed in the S31 for 2 nights and was absolutely amazed at the stunning views of Bangkok the Panorama suite offers. It is really a upmarket hotel with affordable prices. It is also located very centrally in Sukhumvit, close to shopping malls as well as the busy nightlife.

Super Place to stay S31”

My wife and I stay in Bangkok alot, we have used many hotels and S31 is the best, I have already recomemded it to friends. It is a Beautiful hotel in the heart of Bangkok close to the Skytrain so close to everything. The Breakfasts were wonderful and the food from room service was excellent. Maybe a little pricey for a real long stay but it will spoil you and other hotels will not quite be good enough after a few days at S31.

S31 hotel is very well located in sukhumvit area, close to public transportation like sky-train, of course taxi service nearby as usual, and also good and short walking distance to shoppíng areas, e.g. Emporium, also nearby located to a nice garden, which makes the stay in general very convenient and nice. several choices of room-types, and all in all value for money for the overall stay, hotel nicely equipped with swimming pool, fitness center and good restaurant, also nearby in the ground floor a good bakery.
