Quiet side of the island”

Samui haus is a good choice if you want to get away from the crowds of chaweng and lamai. Lovely clean rooms, and nice pool, located right on the beachfront, great to have free access to bikes and kayaks and all the staff very helpful and friendly, great mango shakes for 88baht

Nice family hostel, impecable staff!”

Very nice hostel in Lipa Noi Beach, good place to relax, nice clean rooms and a very friendly staff willing to contribute to a pleasant stay. Only downside is the beach which has some algae and is not one of the best in Koh Samui. Convenient also if your travelling with air Asia / Raja Ferry as it is a 2 minutes drive to the port. Would definitely recommend staying here, specially if you are looking to relax.

Lovely quiet resort.”

We have stayed in Lipa Noi before so we knew that it was very much the quiet side of Samui which was just what we were looking for. We had a family villa which was right on the beach with a main room, downstairs bedroom and upstairs bedroom. The balcony had a small plunge pool. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was regularly cleaned and fresh fruit was let\ft in the fridge each day. We often had the mail pool to ourselves which was lovely. There are some really good restaurants within a ten minute walk and a Family Mart across the road. If you want a quiet place to relax for a few days this is it.

Superb stay for honeymooners. Its quiet and chill.”

Went for honeymoon in June, the weather was pleasant. Late check in, and the lady boss been waiting for us. The only problem we face are food. Its hard to get a halal food in Samui. But we roam around and manage to find malay village, that sell halal food. Excellent service form the lady boss. She even drove us to the pier on our last day in Samui. She surprised us with nicely decorated frame with our picture and deliver it to our next stay in Krabi. We will miss you Kung!

Nice stay, great value”

Very nice stay at Samui Haus. The room and pool area were beautiful. Although it was a bit out of the way from town/more popular attractions and beaches, it was located on a lovely long stretch of beach and right near Raja ferry port. Would be am excellent stay for couples looking to get away and spend time together. Staff was very helpful and friendly, even offering free kayak rentals.

A second home”

One of the better ares to stay at in samui island. Away from the crowd with beautiful sunset scenery this place was amazing. Would definitely go back again. Great value for momey. Friendly staff.

A great quiet place”

The hotel is situated in a quiet location between the sea and the road with low traffic. In normal room (not a bungalow) has everything you need. Very friendly hotel owners. There is a free shuttle service to the nearest pier. The pool is not huge, but very good. Breakfast is not much variety, but tasty (especially the pancakes), not tired for a week! I note only that in the sea near the hotel usually parked fishing small boats and there are low tides (August). To swim better to go a little bit along the beach. The place is very solitary, to the nearest shop (7/11) about a kilometer (but you can take a bicycles free of charge), the hotel has its own rental car and motorbike with good prices.

Fantastic place, quiet little oasis!!”

What a fantastic place we were treated like royalty from those minute we checked in with a cold fruit juice each, to when we check decked out. We chose this hotel as it was close to Lipa Noi Pier for our ferry, the staff even picked us up for free. The room was lovely with tea making facilities, large comfortable bed, tv, great shower, gowns. We went kayaking in the bay it was great, free bikes so but it rained when we were there so we didn't get to go on them. The food was lovely, breakfast made to order which I prefer, and dinner was lovely especially the rib eye steak and such a reasonable price. We were the only people there for 2 days which was nice, beach and sunbeds great. Staff a delight they printed my boarding passes also very attentive and friendly. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel just fantastic.

Wonderful relaxed place”

Great! The location on the quiet clean & extremely relaxed beach is really nice. The rest of the island can be explored with a scooter (the owner organizes it). Daily fresh fruit & water was brought into the room! We had the bungalow on the beach. Clean, quiet, modern. Great. With private pool- cleaned daily. The breakfast was either a la carte or a buffet. IMPORTANT: There was a real bean coffee machine !! A dream for all coffee lovers. The dinner was delicious and reasonably priced. On the beach there is a restaurant / bar 100 meters away which was much more expensive. In 1.2 km (15 min beachwalk) to get to the famous Nikki Beach Hotel / Club. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The owner picked us up from the ferry, translated and stayed all night long in the hospital as we had an emergency Great! Thank you so much!!

Excellent and quiet place!”

We've definitely enjoyed our stay there. The whole layout and decorations were lovely. There were two baby goats at the front of the resort that were really cute! We went there for new years and the staff recommended us to stay for a lovely dinner with some traditional thai dance performanced by girls and live music. The resort is on the quiet side of the island so I would recommend this place to anyone who loves to just relax by the beach without any nuisances from clubs and party people.

Quiet paradise”

We were in a sea view room, it was very beautiful. The staff are really helpful and kind. It is a perfect location if you want to relax, the beach is not crowded, but on the other hand you need a motorbike or a car to get to the other parts of the island. There are some restaurants nearby, with affordable prices (a few minutes walk, but you need a torch, because there is no street lighting). The wifi connection and speed is OK. And the bicycle and kayak usage is free. We really liked to be there, and we thank everything to the whole staff.

Relaxation”

We stayed for almost two weeks here and it was a great place to relax. The beach is clean and nice, and pool is of a perfect size/depth for both kids (5, 3, and 1 years old) and grownups. Room was very big with comfortable beds, regular cleaning and all amenities that we needed, like making a light dinner for the babies and having a cup of coffee in the room while kids are sleeping. The owner was so nice to provide additional cartoons to keep the kids occupied before going to sleep. The only drawback is that the room is not air-tight so mosquitos can get in all day and night long. We had to use repellant spray 24/7 and electric mosquito killer (offer of repellants in local shops is poor so bring them from home). We enjoyed breakfast even though it was the same every day. Our appetites were high because all the activity during the day, and the amount and variety of the food available was great, even gluten-free and lactose-free. Friendly and helpful staff, thanks!

Intimate ”

This resort was not full when we were there so we felt like guests in a home rather than customers the staff were friendly the rooms were lovely & nowhere was far to go ie beach pool & restaurant. Had a lovely time.

Beautiful! ”

From arriving the friendliness we received was amazing! The room was beautiful, clean. The pool was lovely and right on the beach. If you want hustle and bustle and lots of shops and restaurant places this isn’t for you! It’s quiet with a few very good restaurants. Buffet breaks fast is good, but go early. Staff can’t do enough for you, they are really great! The owner even gave us a free lift to the port for the ferry this morning! Nothing was too much! Very much recommend!!

Free shuttle service(from the port), kind staff, fantastic beach. If you use the ferry (from Suratani), this resort is best for you.

Staff are brilliant ”

Our room was lovely, very comfortable and clean. The view was amazing also. The staff were very friendly, helpful and hospitable, and the free use of the kayaks was great. The area was lovely and quiet, very secluded - perfect couples get away.

Nice hotel to stay with great view. Great staff and facilities. A bit far from attractions but a good place to stay if you looking for quiet and clean hotel and beach.

Great Surprise”

Absolutely amazing experience!! Owner's approach was brilliant. Best kitchen we've tried yet. Lovely and clean rooms. Few stones and shelves at the beach, but definitely a great stay.

Above average”

The owners did a great job with the resort, but it seems that management have not kept up the standards. Quite often it felt as if we were intruding, while the staff hung around the main common area, whether it was just sitting around, or socialising with their small family, or even when they were singing karaoke, seemingly/apparently for the guests, but there were no guests taking part or even wanting to go near the noise. We absolutely love music, and a nice neutral relaxed soundtrack would have been so much better, failing that, silence would have been so much better also. Such a shame, for the spot is so nice, and with the right touch or management, could be the perfect escape from the congested main area of the island. We hope that the owners become aware of the poor management that was in place around August 2016 when we were there, this place deserves better.
