2nd time staying there...”

I had mixed feelings during my 1st time stay in this hotel so during my 2nd stay there, I was prepared and left the hotel at the end of my stay feeling satisfied. The cost is affordable and for a budget hotel (the rooms are one of the smallest I've ever stayed in), the place is clean and all the staff professional (maybe except one who I had issue with the last time I was there). The place is probably not a popular area for avid shoppers or sighteers because it is located in a residential area but access to public transport is excellent. There are two bus stops just outside the hotel and you only need to wait for a few minutes before a taxi passes by on the look-out for customers. What's a $10 taxi ride (cheaper if you use the MRT & bus as long as you don't mind the walking/rushing between MRT lines & always the standing when there are no seats left) when you pay more than three times the amount for a room in a more expensive part of Singapore? It just doesn't compare. Only problem is that some taxi drivers may not be familiar with the hotel so make sure you know what to tell them - "Santa Grand Hotel. West Coast. At Pasir Panjang Road". Because there is more than one Santa Grand Hotel in Singapore. If you want to be more helpful take a screenshot of the map to the hotel printed on the back of your room card sleeve (room card stays at the front desk when you go out) onto your smartphone and show it to the driver if he gets lost haha Just by the corner there are THREE 24-hour convenient stores, a small row of local eateries (most of them providing Halal food and one of them open for 24 hours) & a unisex reflexology place. The wi-fi for customers is free and fast compared to the last hotel I stayed at in Singapore. Overall, I definitely won't mind staying in this hotel again :)

Good Hotel”

First time book Santa Grand Hotel, I chose at West Coast, but at that day I came for Check-in, the room's aircon was spoiled, so the Receptionist asked me to be transferred to Santa Grand Hotel at Bugis. Hotel paid me for the transportation from West Coast to Bugis. So my review now is for Santa Grand Hotel Bugis, as I did not stay in Santa Grand Hotel West Coast. Overall my experience staying in Santa Grand Hotel Bugis was pleasant. The hotel is nice and clean. Room and bathroom is clean. Tolietries, towel, and slippers are provided. Breakfast is provided. Staff are nice. Good value for money. Walking distance to Bugis Junction, Bugis+, and Bugis Street. And 2 bus stop only if you are taking bus. Many restaurants and amenities around the hotel.

Great location”

Well, this is the third time staying in this hotel. The price is acceptable compare with other hotels in Singapore. There are shops, e.g., 7-11, and restaurants around. I like the Chinese food there, a HongKong restaurant. It's walk distance to NUS, so it's quite convenient for me. If you have time, the west coast park is actually not far away, can enjoy your time there in the afternoon.

A very good place to stay for a solo traveler”

Santa Grand West Coast is a well accessible and good place to stay. It is especially close to NUS and has bus and metro stations nearby. The staff is polite. The rooms are small, but if its just one person then its fine. Also they provide basic toiletry items, tea/coffee sachets and water. Overall looking at the location and amenities, it is a very good place to stay in Singapore.

the hotel has a very good location, just at the edge of west coast and National University of Singapore. it has direct link (within 20 meters) to bus stop transportation to Mrt and within 200 meters there are a bus terminal which can go easily to other parts of cities.the surrounding shophouses provide convenient food. the hotel is clean but the room is very small. breadfast is just so so.

Cosy hotel with excellent service”

Located close to the Clementi Junction, the Santa Grand Hotel is affordable, convenient and provided excellent service. After getting of the Green Line MRT from Changi Airport at Vivocity, I took a bus from the most happening mall in Singapore to the hotel which took about 15 mins. Strategically located next to a bus stand, it is also very convenient to get to the Clementi mall from here. The staff at the hotel were friendly and most helpful, providing me with assistance during my 2-day stay in Singapore. Compared to most hotels in downtown Singapore, the hotel rates were very reasonable. I would definately recommend it to anyone on a budget trip to Singapore. 2 thumbs up Santa Grand !!

Home coming feel”

i've stayed here twice before & my return this time has a home coming feel. the staff remembered me & were attentive to my needs. for instance, when i had problems with my laptop wifi connection, suresh came to my rescue even when he was busy at the front desk. amy has the best smile anyone can beam & she assisted me when i left my hand written note after checking out. she found them & faxed it to me on the same day. here's a big thank you to santa grand hotel (west coast) in making my stay pleasant, pleasurable & with a peace of mind.

In Safe & in quiet surroundings ”

Staying in Santa Grand Hotel West Coast is quiet & well. Breakfast is good and hotel is clean with fast WIFI connection.

quiet place”

it is located at west coast near to national university of singapore. it is actually quite a convenient place, bus service can take you to vivocity or nearby MRT. direct distance from the hotel to sentosa and singapore zoo is relatively short. price is reasonable, for the same price u have to go to little india or kallang/gellang area which are apparently more noisy and less safe. it is a good hotel for back packers who come to singpaore for a budget trip and be away from the noisy streets.

New experience”

It's value for money. Maintained well and very clean when comparing with same category hotels. Nearest attraction is West Coast Park & not much shopping places around. But can find few restaurants around. Only set back is hotel do not have parking space and need to use the parking slots across the road.

Nice budget hotel on the west side of Singapore”

The hotel was adequate and my ROM had windows! Small ish twin bed room but more than adequate for just a single traveller. This hotel is on the west side of Singapore so travel to the city is by buys and train (MRT). Buys stop right outside hotel, mrt station about 5 buys stops away. Breakfast was included and minimal, don't expect to much just bread, hard boiled eggs and jam. Tea coffee or apple juice. Some nice local restaurants just outside but you'll be bored of them if you are staying longer than 3-4 nights. My overall rating: good enough if you are a single traveller our you are a couple on a budget.

The price of the hotel is one of the lowest prices nearby. But the cleanness, the location is the best among others. Check-in and -out procedure is very simple and fast. The room is very quiet at night. Both me and my girlfriend like the place. If we got visitors next time, we won't be afraid that they have no place to live in.

My Second Stay”

This was my second stay at the hotel, and this stay validated my decision to return. The hotel is reliable, the location is excellent, the staff is professional, the rooms are well equipped, and breakfast is a nice bonus. The only draw-back is the cost. Singapore is very expensive now, and so it takes a bit of getting used to not paying around thirty or forty Singapore dollars less for a night in this hotel.

We liked our one night stay in this hotel; hotel staff are nice and helpful; room is clean and all amenities are working fine (aircon, hot shower, strong water pressure, strong wi-fi signal). However, maybe two pillows can be standard instead of one for each guest; also taxi is not readily available in the area but front desk is more than willing to call for a cab; breakfast can be better; but overall I will recommend to friends and families to stay in this hotel

Complete little hotel”

Very small but very complete. Satisfied because it has everything needed in a hotel room such as iron & board, safety box, mini fridge, room slippers, hairdryer and the bonus mobile phone. Nothing more needed for this price. Just one thing, please add the additional door lock to make us feel safer as every other hotels had it.

small and pleasant”

it is overall a pleasant place. it is located at west coast. although it is far from any train station, but there are many buses near the hotel. for price less than 150, it is a decent place to stay. will recommend to single traveller or people come to visit singapore to visit their friends in national university of singapore. Room is relatively small, breakfast can be improved.

Not too bad a hotel, staffs were their life savers”

The hotel has limited parking four lots (4) to be exact; but they are near a public parking which is just across the road. It was quite easy to get access to the parking. There are two(2) parks nearby and West Coast Plaza is a bus ride away; about 15 minutes walk away. The location sort of lacking; but it has its base of walkin customers. The breakfast isn't a must have; and I would rather go to the stalls nearby to eat. Rooms are on the smallish side. I took a Suite but the beds were smaller than in the photo. The great side is the shower. So far among the best I had experienced. Staffs were personal. It will be a great hotel if you had to be in this side of the city as access to the University and the hospital is convenient. Thanks to the staff they gave us a room that allowed us to see the containers and crains which kept my son quite amussed!

Affordable package”

Suitable for those who plan to take advantage of the location near west coast area especially traveling to Vivo or Sentosa. 2 parking space available for those who drive and plenty of bus available at the stop towards Clementi and Har Paw MRT Station. Free wifi and light breakfast included is a plus point compare to others budget hotel nearby. There are also plenty of eateries within 5 minutes walking distance which consists of taiwan food, 24 hours mamak, famous Nasi Lemak and a soup base chinese food. 7Eleven is also within the same walking distance.

Pleasant Stay. Cozy room.”

The stay was pleasant. Staff was friendly. I got the largest room in the hotel (presumably), as my room was located in the most upper floor, corner room. Hotel was quite clean and the room was spacious. Shower and bathroom was more than I expected than other "similar" hotel.
