I stayed for 6 nights plus 1 night. Although it was a room without windows, the room was decorated with blackout curtains and blinds, so it didn't feel strange at all. Since I wasn't woken up by sunlight early in the morning, I appreciated being able to expect a good night's sleep rather than having a view from the hotel. There are some noisy shops nearby, and you can often hear the voices of guests talking in their rooms or music while walking down the hallway. Voices from the hallway can also be easily heard in the rooms. This is a structural design with a gap at the bottom of the door for security reasons to identify problematic rooms, so it can't be helped. I always bring earplugs, so I had no problem sleeping soundly every night, making it a good choice for solo travelers. Couples who don’t use earplugs may risk dissatisfaction from their partner. My room had a small refrigerator, but my friend's room did not. There is a 7-Eleven, a currency exchange, and a massage parlor on the first floor, which suited our needs. Those in rooms without refrigerators might not mind. There is also a water server on the first floor, and they provide a bottle of water in the room every day. The bed is on the firmer side, which I like because it doesn't let my body sink in. The cleaning staff are very friendly and wonderful, so don't forget to leave a tip for the pillow service! The shower has a warm setting as standard, but you can easily make it hot by turning a large knob near the boiler, so there was no need for concern. The shower, washbasin, and toilet are in the same space, and I didn't feel it was cramped, but my friend said it was difficult to use the toilet in his room. There was a smell coming from the toilet drain, but the door was sealed, so it didn't affect the bedroom. I accepted that’s just how things are in Thailand, and since there were days when there was no smell, I considered myself lucky. Overall, my experience with the room was all good. I wouldn't recommend it for those who are sensitive to smells. The location is convenient for those using public transportation, as it is situated at the intersection of BTS Asoke station and MRT Sukhumvit station. There is Terminal 21 nearby, and the food court on the 5th floor offers a good view, affordable prices, and tasty food. The front desk staff works in shifts, with three people on duty around the clock. Please understand that their job with long hours is very demanding, and even if you have to wait during check-in, please sit on the sofa and kindly wait without getting frustrated. From the evening until the morning, a very kind man serving as both doorman and security is on duty nearly every day. All four of the front desk staff and the doorman are wonderful! To the hotel owner, if you hire two more staff members and reduce the long shifts to shorter ones while increasing their salaries, the satisfaction of the front desk staff will improve, and their great efforts can continue in the future, further enhancing the hotel's reputation.
