Great location and service, but keen-eye for tips”
I stayed at Siam@Siam hotel for 6 nights. I arrived to the airport late due to my flight delay from Phuket to Bangkok. Upon arrival with my girlfriend, I was approached by a kind concierge who was more than willing to open the doors, greet me with a friendly smile, and prepared my luggage for its transit to my room. The first night was a unique experience. The hotel is designed with such different design expectations of a hotel that is, on average, rated at 4 & 1/2. It's not your expected hotel with white furnishings, contemporary and modern but instead an environment or half-lit rooms, reflected multiple colours of the different walls (Some even left at it's construction stage, a grey slab) but nevertheless an experience I've not recieved before, and I've visited a lot of 5-star hotels. One of the pros was that, upon arrival, I was upgraded to business class. During payment through Agoda, I simply ticked Higher Room and when I got to the reception they had advised me I'd be staying on level 22. The top floor for accomodation is 24. This was a bonus for me. If you want more information or very important 'TIPS' for Thailand, here is my email: michael.pajar@hotmail.com In a nutshell, the pros: - The positive environment - The new architectural feel - The breakfast buffet - The outstanding service upgrade - Location, location, location The cons: - The overpriced tour bookings through hotel - Room service employee looking over your shoulder while meander across the receipt and sign while coming across the 'tips' section awaiting payment. - The realisation that a month prior to my stay at Siam@Siam I found a 'flight-centre' deal that stated pay 2 for 3 nights stay. Overall, not much regret as Thailand was a great place to be to just relax, shop and amaze the eyes with amazing historical monuments and shows. Siam@Siam is definitely a hotel to visit.

Siam @ Siam Design - Truly Amazing”
We had a fantastic experience at the Siam @ Siam Design Hotel. It is very central for sightseeing and shopping and the hotel itself is gorgeous. It has a spa for those who like to indulge in spa treatments, massage etc (although are obviously more pricey than those outside the hotel due to the luxury of the place). The hotel itself is incredibly clean and well maintained on a daily basis, the staff are friendly and very helpful without being pushy or overbearing. The room is comfortable, clean and quiet and has everything you need. The breakfast that is included with the room is an amazing buffet with so much to choose from and incredibly fresh. The roof terrace bar has great views of Bangkok, especially at night, and a great place for a relaxing beer after a day's shopping! I can also highly recommend the restaurant La Vue - although pricey it is by far the best meal we both have had in a very long time. The Sommelier was spot on with his choice of wine, we were offered shawls when we mentioned we were a bit chilly, and the carpaccio and chateaubriand was to die for. We loved our experience at the Siam @ Siam. We did not want to leave and will definitely be returning.

“new, trendy, different & a great place to stay”
If you want to stay somewhere that is absolutely ultra modern with polished concrete floors and walls and has bright colours (oranges/yellows), timber and steel used as complementary features, which is 5 minutes walk from MBK, around the corner from Jim Thompson's, across the street from the large Gem Boutique nearly everyone visits, across the street from the main sports stadium, has a great outlook, fabulous rooms, great staff and fabulous food, try Siam @ Siam. My husband and I, together with our friends, another couple, had just arrived at Bangkok after disembarking the Diamond Princess. Our driver took us around the back roads, through a shopping centre car park and drove up what appeared to be a lane way, to the entry of Siam @ Siam. Our friends, who have stayed in Bangkok before, initially thought we were in the middle of nowhere and I, who had organised the accommodation, was feeling sick! It didn't take long to realise this new (not refurbished) boutique hotel was "unique". We were hardly out of the car when greeted by staff who asked our names and accompanied us to the lifts and all the way to the Executive Check In on Level 22. (The next time we saw our luggage was in our room). Again, a bit of a surprise as we sat in lounge chairs adjacent to an office type desk to complete the necessary paperwork and were asked if we would like coffee or juice or something to eat. This area proved to be not only the check-in and out point for those staying on the Executive Levels, but also the area for those wanting a continental breakfast (included) and for evening Cocktails - yes, you are provided complimentary access to a full bar together with canapes from 6pm to 8pm in an area overlooking the setting sun. The night we arrived we just relaxed with our friends enjoying the drinks, canapes and outlook and didn't remember to have dinner. (Don't forget we had just disembarked from a 21 day cruise where we hadn't stopped eating). This was just perfect for us! We

hotel with a difference”
We stayed at the SIAM @ SIAM for 2 nights on a stopover and absolutely loved it. The location was terrific, within walking distance to all the major shopping centers. The hotel itself was not just another boring 5 star hotel without character. Siam@Siam is filled with funky arty details which gives the place something unique. We had drinks on the roof (awesome views)a swim in the level 11 infinity pool looking over Bangkok. Each night there is live entertainment in the ground floor bar which is a terrific trendy design. Breakfast was excellent and kept us going all day! Our room was the standard size hotel room but finished with designer touches including a massive bath to relax in after a hard day shopping.

Siam@Siam Stay”
I was very glad that we booked into the Siam@Siam Hotel for our last night in Bangkok. The service on arrival was second to none and our room was as we expected from the decor or the Hotel Lobby. A modern design with all the traditional aspects of comfort. We adjourned to the Roof Top Restuaranat for our evening meal and were astounded by the open beauty of the place, overlooking Bangkok in such a relaxed surrounding with the feeling that you had your own corner of the terrace to eat you meal. The meal itself was beautiful with a mix of local produce and imported foods. As we were on our last day in Thailand we opted for teh local produce and were thouroughly rewaded with our choice. I would reccomend Siam@Siam to anybody going to Bangkok. If you are comming back from one of teh islands and a beach bungalow it's definitely worth spending that extra few quid and singing off in style with a night at Siam@Siam

Wonderful stay! Definitely would recommend”
I actually booked Siam @ Siam at the recommendation of a female friend for a birthday getaway and had a wonderful time. I'd been striking out in terms of hotels in Bangkok (I'm a fairly frequent traveler), and decided to take her advice on it, which I am so glad i did. If I had to define one thing that really made this hotel stand apart from the other 5-10 I've stayed at in BKK before, it's the hospitality. I was blown away at how warm and accommodating the staff were (and for a while, thought the staff perhaps thought I was some celebrity, haha). The hotel even sent up a cake to wish me happy birthday the day I arrived, which was really a treat. Unfortunately, I have a gluten intolerance but thanked them anyway, and so they sent up ice cream (which I could eat). It was really lovely. Even lovelier was that next day while in line at the breakfast hall, I was approached by one of the managers who informed me that he was aware that I had a gluten intolerance and offered me some GF bread! Just to note- nowhere did I actually write this on my reservation. Usually I get by with rice or potatoes or whatever, but I was super pleased to have this option (this was the first time in months I had bread!). In any case, goes to show you how far the staff were willing to make the trip an enjoyable one. I stayed 3 nights here and had a great time- the pool is beautiful (but very popular, so get there early), the fitness room was fantastic and the massage parlor on site seemed good, though I didn't try it. The rooms were extremely comfortable with a beautiful tile bathtub, and with the number of restaurants on site, you almost don't have to leave the hotel (I had to force myself out, since it was so easy to stay in). I should also mention it's minutes away from the BTS and within walking distance of the Siam malls which are a good place to visit. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay, especially for solo female travelers who are looking for a recomme

Fantastic contemporary hotel”
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Siam@Siam Design. It's a funky hotel equipped with many facilities including gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi, spa and steam rooms/sauna/massage therapists. The staff were very helpful and polite. They even accomodated an early check in for me as I arrived much earlier than expected. The rooms are attractive in design and quirky. The rooftop restaurant (although pricey) is worth the food, not to mention the 360' radial view of the twinkling city. The cocktails are great (very strong) and I believe the restaurant itself has won an award this year for its excellent cuisine. The restaurant (downstairs part of the hotel) also provides an excellent breakfast buffet which hosts a range of international dishes. I would suggest going to breakfast early as there was a small traffic jam during the 9am rush hour. I would definitely go back to this hotel again, its in a great location (within walking distance of the big named malls aswell as the skytrain) and about 30 mins away from Khaosan area (if you take a tuk tuk).

siam@siam hotel ' Bangkok”
we spent 5 night in siam@siam hotel in Bangkok on December. the hotel is beautiful' the design is modern and special. we were at the executive floor and it worth any dollar. there is special check in and check out in that floor. also there is a special lounge with free internet, coffe, tea and happy hour in the afternoon. all free of charge. the staff are very polite. the room is very comfortable, wide, clean and very specially designed. the location is very good. near the shopping center (mbk, and all other malls, near the station of the train and a station of the boat. breakfast is great and you can choose western food or assian food. everything is very tasty.ther is a wonderful pool on the 11th floor with a great view.and more free internet at the lobby.in that hotel we never felt too crowded and the feeling is very friendly and intimate.we loved every minute of our staying in that hotel and recommending it with all our heart

Exceptional Hotel - Reasonable Price”
Having stayed in a number of hotels during our 2 week visit to Thailand we had been underwhelmed by the service at the hotels that we visited, we were really pleased to find that there are exceptions to the rule. The service we received at Siam @ Siam was attentive and helpful at all times. The room we booked was very nicely designed and had a great view of the city. The bed was huge and comfortable. My only gripe would be that the shower was placed far too low to actually fit my head under it. The pool was great and we were allowed to us it even after we had checked out in the morning. The breakfast was fantastic and certainly one of the best we had in Thailand. The cocktails on the roof were definitely the best we had in Thailand and we both felt that they were much better than Sirocco, and at half the price and just as good views. I hadn't written any other reviews from our trip as we had not be overwhelmed by any other hotel. However this one was worth providing a recommendation for and we will certainly be visiting again.

Everything you need for a Bangkokj stay”
An easy 45 minute journey from the airport brings you to the beautifully designed Siam @ Siam boutique hotel. From the bag pick up trough to the reception all staff are very polite and friendly. The hotel and your room have a great boutique style, an ecletic feel about the place that makes it different from other hotels. It's in a great position for all trips being right at bthe end of the user friendly train system that takes you anywhere in Bangkok at a very cheap cost. The infinity pool and sun lounge area is a great relaxation area after a hectic day in bangkok The highlight of the hotel is the roof bar and restuarent with panaramic views over the city. Just spectacular . The roof retuarant would have one of the finest positions anywhere in the world and yet our only negative comment comes here. Here we are enjoying this panaramic view in Bangkok and they don't serve Thai cuisine, only western. Surely the best position in bangkok deserves the best Thai food. In summary one of the best city hotels i have stayed in any where in the world for value ,convienance, service and feel

the only place to be!”
my fiance and i thought that we would have a pre-honeymoon after our engagement party. siam@siam was the best choice of hotel. the hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful, which is always one of the major factors when staying away from home. the hotel itself is absolutely breath taking. the art and design is unlike any other hotel i have ever stayed in. i worked for the accor hotels group, which include the sofitel, novotel, mecure, grand mecure etc, and in my time not one of these hotels could compare to the siam@siam, for beauty, service or comfort. we stayed in room 2106, which was extremely spacious and had great views. i would definitely recommend requesting this room if you ever stay. last but not least great brakfast! and lets all face facts. on a holiday, breakfast is always one part of the stay you always look forward too.yummy you must stay here we definitely be again

A unique stay!”
Best friend and I stayed at the Siam at Siam Hotel for 6 nights in late November/early December. We chose the hotel for a number of reasons - price, location to transport and shopping, unique design of the hotel and close to attractions (Jim Thompson House) We were very happy with our stay. The rooms were always clean. staff friendly, great selection of Western and Asian food at breakfast, easy to catch a taxi, etc Our room was on the 17th floor and had a view of the National Stadium. It was nice because on our first night there was a soccer match being played for the King! The bed was nice and not too hard or soft and they gave us free bottled water each morning which is standard in S-E Asian hotels. Everything else has been written up on here in past reviews. I'd recommend this hotel to my family and friends and would definitely consider staying here again.

Funky, Bohemian & totally Perfect”
I always return to Siam@Siam when I go to Bangkok. It's totally perfect, it's slightly alternative, the rooms are large, super comfortable, the staff are attentive and offer a premium service and the decor is fantastic. The infinity pool offers sensational views over Bangkok and is a must. location wise you are minutes away from the famous shopping centre and bustling food markets, not to mention the must see Jim Thompson house. The Sky train is opposite the hotel meaning you can travel across the city with ease. This without doubt is a 10/10 boutique designed hotel (but on a larger scale).

Enjoyed the difference”
Everything about this hotel is unique, funky, and fun. It's not the cookie-cutter hotel that we're used to. And it may not be for everyone. Check-in was fast and easy. They requested to see my hotel voucher/reservation when I entered then they escorted me up to the lobby level where check-in took place. There were no difficulties. After check-in, I was escorted to my Leisure Class room and shown around. The rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable and unique. The floors and walls are finished concrete. There was a throw rug on the floor near the "love seat" and coffee table. A funky mural filled the wall behind the bed. The bathroom was clean, spacious and everything worked well. Towels and bed linens were clean. Television worked fine and I recall seeing channels in English, German, Chinese, and Thai. I connected to the Internet using the hotel's wireless connection. There was a place to plug in also. No clock in the room, but you can arrange a wake up call. Breakfast buffet was standard and, while not exceptional, was good and included the usual western and Asian breakfast fare. Air-con worked very well. The noise didn't seem excessive to me. Lighting was a bit dim, but not a problem. Halls were clean. Housekeeping did a good job. I ate dinner at Partyhouse One once and it was very good. The steak was delicious as was the hamburger. The Pool was great. The National Stadium BTS Skytrain station is a 5 minute walk from the hotel and very convenient. All the major shopping a person could desire is a mere 10-15 minutes walk away. That includes MBK, Siam Paragon, Siam Discovery Center, CentralWorld, Gaysorn, Siam Square. There are many kinds of food available in each. In-room safe was large enough for my standard size laptop. Taxi fare from the airport was 450 baht. 500 baht from the hotel to the airport. The Jim Thompson House is 5-10 minute walk around the corner. There is a 7-eleven and a mini-mart just a few minutes from the hotel in the direction of the Skytrain. I

Excellent hotel - National Stadium very noisy.”
Siam @ Siam is a modern and artistically decorated hotel with exceptionally good service, outstanding views, and walking distance (10 min slow walk) to the Skytrain (National Stadium) and major shopping complexes within Bangkok. My stay coincided with practise at the National Stadium for some event. If you didn't know, Thai people love their music loud. The stadium is built so that the noise silos up, which in turn made the last night very noisy until around 1 in the morning. Even though that happened, I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again ... even if there was an event on at the stadium. Siam@Siam was wonderful all around. The food and coffee was a bit expensive for my tastes, but I had a coffee which was equiv to Australian prices.

Breathtaking rooftop city views”
We greatly enjoyed our stay and would definitely use Siam @ Siam as our base for a return visit to Bangkok. The design of the hotel is refreshingly unique and, overall, aesthetically pleasing. Although the infinity pool is on the lobby floor, it is high enough above the city to offer a nice city view while swimming. Unfortunately, they do close early (7pm) so you might have to do some strategic planning if you want to use the pool. My main complaint is that the hotel rents out its facilities for special events so some of the facilities are frequently closed to regular visitors and often without notice. Unfortunately for us, the entire lobby was closed off for such an event during the second night of our stay and although we had returned early in order to use the pool it was closed earlier than normal to our disappointment. The rooftop dining is subpar for what it costs and you get the same view from the bar so my recommendation is to forgo the food and lounge at the bar each night, soaking in the spectacular city.

Great location, friendly staff, great sized rooms”
we absolutely loved siam at siam hotel in bangkok. the locaton was perfect...near mbk, lots of local vendors near by, and a short tuk tuk ride to many places throughout the city. even thought english can be an issue with some taxis/tuk tuk drivers, everyone always knew the siam@siam hotel. the staff was friendly, the rooms were super neat...great set up, furniture, lighting, etc. the only bad thing was the expensive breakfast buffet (but if youre in bangkok you should eat with the locals at the street vendors anyways- delic!) and the pool closed early at 7pm. laundry is also very expensive. do not get your laundy done at the hotel, you can find cheaper.

great hotel , fab location, huge rooms”
siam @ siam is a boutique hotel, with large well appointed rooms. from the moment you arrive you are greeted by helpful and friendly staff. the endless pool on the 13th floor would have to be one of the best around, much time was spent soaking in that pool over looking bangkok. the breakfast has a good variety of western and asian foods available. the roof top restaurant and bar are well worth a visit especially at night so you can take in bangkok at night. the hotel is well located and is about a 5 minute walk to the bts station and mbk and siam discovery for those who love to shop. we would recommend this hotel and will most definitely stay here again on our next visit to bangkok.

Siam @ Siam - Simply perfect spot to relax!”
This is the most uniquely designed, hotel we have stayed in, which made it very interesting and a nice place to be in a relax. We stayed at the Hotel during the Red Shirt protest 2010 and the hotel is very close to the roadblocks, but we felt very safe in the hotel. The staff couldnt do enough for us, very friendly and helpful. Rooms a good size and everything you could possible need. The spa was the most dreamy devine place I have been, with a wonderful choice of spa packages/treatements! It was wonderful, and if you stay at Siam @ Siam you should not miss the spa, which is very good value and excellent service. Hotel is in a great location with ease of transport, the skytrain is right outside! There is a terrific rooftop swimming pool too.

Siam@siam Design Hotel & Spa - Bangkok”
Siam@siam is a funky luxury hotel in a great spot where you can treat youself to a night of luxury in Bangkok. Staff are super friendly, rooms feel luxurious and cutting edge with great views over Bangkok. It was our last night and we wanted to relax before we went home and we had more than enough entertainment between the stunning rooftop bar and dinner and drinks with a live band at Party House 1 on the ground floor - the sum of which cost us only $88AUD each. A dip in the rooftop infinity pool on our last morning was a great way to end our trip. Would definitely stay at siam@siam again.
