Hotels near ski resort in Choengmon

"i stayed here during songkran and absolutely loved it. we booked the cheapest room, just the standard bungalow, and was a bit worried after reading negative reviews, but found the bungalow to be very charming. the standard bungalows are located just off the resort right next to the restaurant but are situated directly on the beach. in fact, they had the best view out of all the rooms from what i could see. we were more then pleased with the value we received. the hotel itself was wonderful. the pool was great, and we spent many hours hanging out at the swim up bar. the hotel staff and owner were very friendly and genuinely seemed to care about their guests. we ate most of our meals at the hotel. the food was very good, the pad thai was one of the best i had in thailand. the location on choengmon beach was delightful. it was not nearly as touristy as the rest of the island. i look forward to staying here again. "
