【Access and Entrance Notes】 It is located in a very convenient spot close to both Kyoto Municipal Subway Karasuma Line "Shijo Station" and Hankyu Kyoto Line "Karasuma Station" (the nearest to Pokémon Center Kyoto). There are also several bus stops nearby. However, the hotel's entrance is on the left edge of the long-established "Tanaka Nagara Tsuke" shop, and it has a hidden appearance that you might overlook at first glance. The approach to the front desk from the street is quite long, but there are lights on the ground, creating an atmospheric walkway. 【Guest Rooms and Facilities】 The facilities are new and very clean. This time I had a twin room for single use, which provided ample space. Desk/Wi-Fi: The desk space is compact but practical with two power outlets. The in-house Wi-Fi measured 120-140 Mbps on a speed test, which is slightly faster than the standard for hotel free Wi-Fi and comfortable. Bathroom: The ceiling height is particularly noteworthy. During this trip, I stayed in three hotels in Nara and Kyoto, and this one had the highest ceiling, making it comfortable for tall guests without feeling cramped. Others: I was pleased that disposable indoor slippers were provided. 【Breakfast (1400 yen)】 The breakfast is served in a casual style where you self-serve onto a partitioned plate. Along with staples such as Narazuke (pickled vegetables), Shibazuke, dashimaki (rolled omelet), and bacon, there were also grilled shishamo, grilled akauo (red fish), chicken cutlet, and local "Kujo Negi Nuta Ae". You can also create your own "My Curry" by topping curry with shumai and fried items. The menu display on the wall (in Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean) is considerate, but having photos would make it even easier for foreign tourists to understand. The venue is not very spacious, but there are power outlets at the counter seats, allowing guests to enjoy breakfast while casually looking at their smartphones in a modern setting. 【Advice】 Breakfast is reasonably priced at 1400 yen, but has a business hotel-like presentation.
