We stayed at a two-bedroom villa with a pool for our last night in Phuket because it was close to the airport and had a water park. The hotel was quite large and we could easily move around the premises with a cart. If we encountered an empty cart while walking, we could ask for a ride to our destination. The room was spacious and had a good atmosphere. The bedrooms had a king-size bed and a twin bed, both of which were comfortable. The pool in the room was constantly flowing and clean, and it was warm. Since our flight was at noon the next day, we wanted to have breakfast in our room early in the morning and requested a floating breakfast, which we had always wanted to try. Although there was an additional charge for room service, the breakfast was luxurious and we couldn't finish it all. The variety of bread and the cute way the fruit was cut were impressive. We ended up taking a photo of the floating breakfast in the pool because it was difficult to float it, and we actually ate it in the living room because there was too much food to fit on the table. We enjoyed the water park, where we, a couple with daughters aged 24 and 16, slid down several water slides multiple times and had fun with the thrills. We thought we could see planes taking off and landing up close at this hotel, but we could only see planes taking off towards the beach several times from the sandy beach. We couldn't see planes landing from the beach, so it lacked a bit of excitement, perhaps due to the timing. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and lovely hotel.

The room is clean and spacious, worth the money paid. The bathroom has strong water pressure and the staff is good and polite. If you book a room with a water park, it will be even more worth it. There aren't many playthings, but it's still fun. The hotel is located near the airport and you can see the planes from the bedroom. You can walk along the Mai Khao beach and take pictures with the planes, especially during sunset if the weather is good and the lighting is beautiful.

Additionally, an incident with a glass table shattering was handled promptly and efficiently by the staff, showcasing their responsiveness and concern for guest safety. The replenishment of food and utensils lagged behind demand, and seating inside the air-conditioned area was limited. Perfect All In One Resort, but far from the tourist centre of Phuket.”
We were in phuket for 5 days and stayed at Splash Beach Resort for our last two nights since it was conveniently very close to the airport (just 15 minutes away and no traffic). Pros : - Beautiful establishment with super cozy rooms and very luxurious too. We took the One bedroom with Kitchen and balcony room and it was perfect, with everything we needed, microwave oven, stove (even a grill oven), jacuzzi bathtub, wooden flooring, super comfy bed and sofas. - Waterpark tickets were complementary for guests and it was amazing! A medium sized park with plenty of stuff, 4-5 slides, a really cozy river pool, a barside pool and all without having to walk too far. It was the best part of our stay, and our 3 year old loved it! - Huge and really beautiful beachside pool with view of planes landing on Phuket runway 09. - Breakfast was amazing except that it was the same spread both mornings we stayed there. In any case it was all super delicious. - check in and out was a breeze with extremely helpful staff all throughout our stay. - although the location was far away from the action like Patong, Kata, Kamala etc, but it was self sufficient as there were plenty of shops, restaurants, along the strip near the hotel, within walking distance. Even a nice 7 eleven. You wont need to travel out of the area for anything. - the beach (Ban Mai Khao) was amazing. Extremely clean and far nore beautiful than patong or all the other touristy beaches. The best part of the beach is being able to stand right underneath aircrafts coming in to land in phuket. Great spot for aviation lovers and for superb photos. Cons: - location is very far away from city centre and other main phuket attractions. Best for kids, Near the Airport”
I booked 4 rooms during our family trip and my children enjoyed their stay. There is a buggy that needs to transport you from one area to another (e.g room to reception, room to breakfast, room to lunch/pool area). Pros: - There is a waterpark that my kids love. This is huge too and you can entirely enjoy the place for 1 whole day. - There are nearby spa, restaurants outside of the reception area. So if you don’t mind walking 7-10mins under the sun/rain, then this is fine. There are available umbrellas in the room. - Foodpanda and Grabfood can deliver in the hotel. - It is 30mins closer to the airport. Some cons: - The room has no readily available cutleries, wine glasses, plates in the room. I think, you have to request but again, it is bothersome. -They only release 1 key for you even if the room can accomodate 4 pax. This is a major issue for those sharing rooms. - We exterminate 4 small cockroaches and it grossed my kids out. - There are holes/gap in 2 of the bunk beds in the 4 rooms we paid, which are very dangerous for small children to sleep at. They can literally fall off the bunk beds. - On our 1st night, the AC turned off by itself 4x and it was really bothersome. They were able to address though the next day. - We weren’t able to swim at the beach in our 4 days of stay. Not sure if it was because of the weather or the location of the hotel is in a dangerzone. -It is 1 hour away from Phuket Oldtown. - There is no non-slip bathmat for kids and seniors. - Some of the staff are trying their best to assist but due to language barrier, they are having a difficult time to understand and respond. Some of them seems tired and unwilling to help. Please be aware that the pool closes at 7.30pm and the waterpark’s opening hours are from 10am-5.45pm.
