green resort, friendly staff and service”
although the resort is getting old without renovation but it still got charming at somehow. staffs and hotel manager did their best to make guest stays comfortable. room was spacious, bed was comfortable. it got wonderful nature and mountain view. if you allergic to dust don't take carpet room as it was getting old enough. i myself change to twin bed wooden floor which got queen size and i appreciate it. restaurant got beautiful nature view and food was reasonable price and good taste. hopefully one day they will renovate hotel and surely it can compete 4 star resorts in khao yai.

I dont like "tourist" hotels and this hotel did not have any except us, when we were there. It was the low season. Perhaps that is why it was very quiet. There were other hotels that seemed closer to the word "resort" in the title, but I liked this hotel.

very big area, big rooms, nice terrace, but no chairs and tables (maybe because of rainy season?). Rooms and pool look a little bit old. Need some renovation. Bathroom very big, but no furniture. Hotel staff friendly and helpful in organizing and booking trips. Restaurant has good food with reasonable price.

Once a great resort, it is dilapidated now”
The resort and the cottages are well conceived and laid out. It is in a state of disrepair now. Toilets blocked/did not work. Had to change cottages. The bathroom left a lot to be required. A $1 shower head that was miserable. The wooden walls and doors had holes - potential to get bugs and insects into the room. The pool was closed (I think - no signs) and the water was muddy, and was probably being repaired. Serious problems - YES. The room was otherwise nice and spacious and the A/C worked. Would have been nice to have some bench-tops or something to put the luggage on. Same for the bathroom - no space for toilet kits, toiletries, etc. Plenty of closet space, working fridge and a couple bottles of water. Nice comfortable bed, nice balcony. The balcony had furniture made of concrete that could not be moved - bad idea. The breakfast was so bad, that on the second morning we went to one of the other resorts, we had stayed at before, and paid for our buffet breakfast. One other problem - to climb the steep steps to the cottages you would have to be a Neanderthal. There was telephone wiring, cable TV wiring all over the premises - on the ground, and it was raining. Hope there were no power lines carrying 220-230V AC. The google map to the location was incorrect. It missed about 5 km the main expressway (2090) to the final right turn. From there the 3 km to the resort is correct.

Cozy trip at Khao Yai ”
Sak Phu Deun is not far from Bangkok. Only one to two hour driving you will see this place in the midst of mountain. However, though the good location, the hotel looks old and not clean. It needs lots of cleaning and improvement for the surrounding environment there. The swimming pools gets dirty and shows that they do not make cleaning as usual. It's a pity that there is a wide area in the resort, but not being taken care. I think this hotel is not a good choice for foreigner or local people who need nice and beautiful accomodations!

We where alle alone in this huge hotel fare away from everything. 145 rooms and no other turists? The restaurent served a very poor menu, and non of the staff members in the restaurent spoke English. There is a nice pool and the hotel is clean. Only Cold Water in the shower.

Missing the mark in this price bracket ”
No hot water, faulty in-room safe that made a wretched noise, running tap that dripped incessantly, the list goes on. Pleasant staff couldn't make up for the shortcomings. I believe in value for money. In the 3000-4000THB bracket there are some amenities that are mandatory (i.e. Hot water)
