Loved it!”

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at Tawaen Beach Resort. The room was clean, comfortable and a good size. Great service from the staff who were so helpful to us. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Koh Larn.

Amazing staff!!”

The location is great, right on the beach. During the day, the beach is super crowded with Chinese tourists from Pattaya. But after 5, you basically have the entire place to yourselves along with the locals. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was nice as well. But the staff was amazing. We had a medical emergency and they were able to bring us to the clinic on the other side of the island. They didn't ask for money and even refused when we offered. They even asked how our friend was doing when we got back.

Great location with reasonable price”

The resort is right at the beach just a few steps from my room (stayed on ground floor). The room is equipped with the necessary things as fridge with freezer, hot/cold shower, TV and air con. The breakfast comes in ABF which you can make your own toast as many as you like ( actually 2 is enough for me). The orange juice was the artificial flavor, not freshly squeezed but I'm ok. To me the resort is a 2-3 star but it's clean and well located. Will return for sure.

Incredible service ”

The hotel facilities were very clean all around, the staff was extremely helpful whenever in need of anything. The reception was very well prepared and the English was at a good standard. The hotel is right in front of a very clean beach and they provide you with free seating in front of it. Lastly they were kind enough to transport us to the pier in order to catch our boat which really helped us and reflected upon their service.

Exceptional”

Even some construction work was done during our stay did not bother us so much. The lady at the reception gave us a nice room with view over the beach. I ordered food from their restaurant and was fantastic. Probably the best so far and I came in Thailand since 2015. Really nice and friendly staff. The size was generous. We really enjoy the stay!

Awesome place ”

1. Smack in the middle of the beach 2. Room was clean & Nice 3. Nice lobby entrance giving you the comfy feel when you reach & have your meals with sea view 4. Lastly the staff was great its the kind of genuine from the heart service you will ever get, some even have tattoos but their serivce was top notch to sum it all.

Bring ear plugs, nose plugs & a back up plan”

Good location right on Tawaen Beach. Rooms are comfortable. But some of them don't have much privacy between them which proved itself on the second night with a group of people drinking and making excessive noise. AC was very good. The wifi, well the last thing you want to hear at check in was that it's not working well and certainly it was hit and miss with more miss. Staff were reluctant to give out password. Either you have wifi or not. TV has no English channels. For dinner instead of being ignored in the hotel restaurant which didn't appear to be open except for the bar go down the beach abit to Sukkee Beach Restaurant. Wifi even works sitting at tables on the beach. Breakfast was very basic. Get it before the flies do. Room not cleaned for a two night stay.

Great hotel, Clean has everything you need. Even has food and drinks in the lobby. Can relax right off the beach. I will definitely stay here again

Literally 10 steps away from the beach”

Room was good, big enough for my family of 5. The sand was a big issue but I guess that's what happens when u choose to stay right next to the beach. Hotel guests get to use the lounge chairs right in front of the hotel for free, so that's a major plus since we spent most of the day outside. Wonderful service too as there's always (at least) 1 staff who's there to help you with your orders or whatever needs. One thing to note, everywhere's pretty much closed after 8pm...so you might wish to plan for dinner earlier. It's very quiet at night, if that's not your thing, then u might wish to consider staying somewhere else on the island.

Great potential”

Location is great, right on the beach! With a few improvements, this hotel can be one of the best ones in the island :) It would be great to have different food for breakfast, after staying for 6 nights, I was a bit tired of eggs, sausages, bread and rice soup. They do have a coffee machine, but they open coffee shop closer to 10, but I would rather have fresh coffee in the morning :) I first stayed on the 3rd floor at the corner room: no complains, got some view of the sea, but when it was raining the stairs got wet (open area, no roof) and they didn’t have any kind of anti-slip tape on, so I slipped and injured my knee. Not much was done except for providing saline solution for the wound... By my request I was moved to the 1st floor (it’s a little louder area, but at least more safe). I wouldn’t say that receptionists is friendly or professional... Some ladies in staff are very sweet though. Keep in mind that rooms aren’t cleaned daily, but they provide fresh water and towels every day. There’s not much to do in the evening, but if you rent a bike, you can go to other places for food/entertainment.

A lovely hotel to stay for one night only”

This is a hotel that I stayed last year for 1 night and had a great time, so this year as part of my holiday I booked 2 nights... again the 1st day & night was great, we arrived early and was able to check in straight away and the service throughout the day was great... The 2nd day was a different story, it was like we never existed, and had to go looking and wait for service for everything... I gave a good top the first day at the end of the day to one guy but I guess it went in his pocket and was not shared !!!! Our room was not cleaned after the first night , just fresh towels put outside our room.....the breakfast is exactly the same everyday as well... 2 x hot dogs & 2 fried eggs... with toast , orange juice and coffee.... again for 1 day was fine, but how long can you eat this everyday...

Above average”

Somewhat Disappointing. Location is great, very quiet at night. But..will not stay there again. First, we had issue about our room. We did not receive the room that we paid for but after SOME discussion, the owner took care of it. Second, we book a private boat from the hotel and again...we did not receive what we were supposed to get during the trip. We were too tried to deal with the issue, so we just let it go. If you are going to stay, i suggest u give them a call to make sure you will receive everything you pay for.

Great Beach for Children ”

Long walk from Ferry lots and lots of building works along the way, along the small width promenade. Also after 3.00pm traffic can use the promenade watch out for motorbikes! Quite dead in the evenings not many restaurants open best to hire a motorbike The best thing about this hotel is the Beach and as it is at the far end although busy with lots of day trippers this part misses the bulk of them

Smelly room in lower floor”

They arranged a room near to entrance but we feel the room is full of fishy smell and request to change room... the next room which is located at second floor condition is good and comfortable..

Okayish hotel, but far too overpriced. The cleanliness level is okay, but not really worth 2,000. Beach is noisy and polluted. Staff and local food are food.
