Exceptional”

We stayed at the Battery Park accommodation for just over 3 weeks. The room was comfortable, spacious, very reasonably priced and in a great location close to the old city. The staff were kind and helpful, particularly Ploy who was really lovely and went out of her way to help. Pang and the team we’re super friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. We are vegetarian and they arranged a special breakfast for us each morning. We enjoyed our stay so much we are coming back in a few months

Good Location. Walking distance to Tha Pae Gate or other sites. Limited Parking lot, with a very high hill. Our car crashed the hill every time when we in and out the parking lot. SUPER Low Speed Wifi. Doesn't recommend if you are traveling on a business trip which requires a High Speed Internet to done the projects. (found out that the internet at lobby was a bit faster than the in room) Staffs were super nice, friendly and informative. The room was clean and very comfortable.

Decent location and big room”

Location - about 5-10 minutes walk to Tha Pae Gate, good to walk to the weekend night market. For the more modern cafes and popular area, this is quite a distance. Chiang Mai is quite big, so you'll most likely have to take a tuk tuk around. Staff - They didn't seem to know how much it cost to get to the bus station. They also don't call for tuk tuk for you. You'll have to find it on the main road (which is about 1-2 min walk) (FYI: I paid 30 baht to get to the green bus station. Other than that, they were friendly and helpful. They had anti bug/ants spray for you to use (I had a ant trail crawling into my room). They also don't come to your room to spray for you. Oh, the staff isn't 24/7 so if you need anything in the middle of the night, I'm not sure who to contact. There is a phone number posted on the door though. Room - Fridge plug was pulled out and i plugged into an empty socket. However when you leave the room, the power automatically goes off except for one socket. So you just need to be mindful about that. Other than that, room was big an spacious. Aircon worked well and bed was comfortable. Pillow was a bit too high for me. You also get 2 free bottles of water a day (if you don't ask for your room to be cleaned, you can just ask the front desk to give you water bottles).

Great location and staff”

The stay at Battery Park was great! The staff was friendly and helpful in discussing and booking tours. The location of the hotel is super, being close to old town and all the sights but still situated a street away from the busy main streets.

Had a very pleasant stay at the Battery Park Villa. The staff was most helpful with whatever we needed. Superior location within walking distance to the heart of the city.

Great value stay in Chiang Mai”

What a bargain! Great hotel for a few days in Chiang Mai. Near the east gate and night market. Big rooms with aircon and new building

Very good staffs, They are so kind, friendly, helpful and take care. and great housekeeper who clean the room everyday in the detail. Good location, you can walk to Tha Pae Gate within 3 minutes from here. And close to Warorot Market and Night Bazaar also. It's worth it to stay here.

Not too bad for the price.”

Was an ok stay. as other reviews have said there is limited Parking, but I never had a issue and got the same front spot for all 3 days I was there. the TV in the room was funny. I didn't Know they made 12 inch LCD TV. I wasn't there for the TV, so I didn't care, but I think my smartphone had a bigger screen. internet works, but not very fast. This is a good spot for 2-3 days, but then I would move on.

Nice place. The TV was tiny and the fridge was off when we first arrived but other than that the design is really nice, very friendly staff and it's very close to Tha Pae gate.

Good location and value for money ”

This hotel is at strategic location, walking distance to thapae gate, 7-eleven, massage shop. It is tourist shuttle bus pick up station. The hotel lobby is simple and nice, good place to hang up. Free coffee, tea and snack is provided at the lobby. Massage chair is available at lobby. Hotel staff are helpful and friendly. We are in group of 10 are very satisfied to this hotel and would recommend others to have the stay.

The best hotel in good location with excellent staff”

I love here! the hotel is in the nice area not far from Thapae gate and night bazaar, the room is great and clean. We went there for 3 and the staff were willing to help us to stay most convenient that was very impressive that I've never met from other hotels. They also have welcome snack at lobby...in case you're starving :)

Good quality for low value”

Hotel is small. Check in was quick. The personel speaks English only a little. There is parking lot in front of building, so you could leave your car free of charge. AC worked good. There were only two small pillows. Bed was good enough. Breakfast were very basic (fried eggs, sossages, ham, butter, bread, one additional dish - rice with some ham and eggs (probably made of yesterday leftovers, but it was fine and tasty) or some soup). Fair enough to start day. Typical Thai bathroom. Room cleaned, towels changed. Location excellent, 5 minutes to old Town. Close to car rental, loundry service, dozen of Thai massage places. Fully recommend.

Very clean and newly remodeled”

The hotel is amazing. Very clean and newly remodeled. The staff are just wonderful and you are close to everything. It's on a quiet street close to many coffee shops and restaurants. The staff even helped me get my clothes back after the laundry where I dropped them off closed before I could get them and I had to fly out at 6 am. They called 26 times for me! Just the best!

Everything is great. Near to market and places for shopping. Only parking is limited but if you don't use a car then it is a place you should select.

Very good”

The hotel is located in a good area, the room is very big and the bed is comfy. The bathroom needs to be cleaned, it was in a really bad conditions specially the walls and the sink, we could see yellow ish stain there. The staff is helpful, however their English skills make difficult the communication. They don’t clean the room. We stayed three nights and the rooms was never clean. There is an annoying noise every night, it’s a kind of motor which turn on and off every time!!! I don’t know if I would recommend this hotel to someone, the price was cheap but they need to improve many things

Good for budget travelers. Location is good to Tha Phae Gate and room is clean & well equipped.

Staff AAA”

Staff is sooo friendly :) maybe I booked to early and paid too much but for the price I paid I expected an higher quality room. Stayed in the 4th floor without elevator and telephone in room did not work, so I had to go down and up again when there was anything to inform to the staff. WiFi broke everyday around 11:30 in the 3rd and 4th floor and had to be fixed. I hope the will fix this permanantly next time for other guests ;)

Battery Park Villa”

I enjoyed my 1 month stay at this hotel. The price was very good. The hotel clean and bright. My only criticism is that there was not a safe in the room.

Not any better than the next door B&B”

The advantage (or so I thought) was paying more to get good breakfast and clean room. Their breakfast is deep fried omelette and a few sausages. Bread jam and butter. That's it. The rooms are ok, mattress need a change urgently. Also, the bathroom walls seem not to have been cleaned for a while and no real hot water, lukewarm at best. For the price I was expecting more...

Nice clean chic hotel”

Though it is difficult to locate at first, you would love the pleasant hospitality of the staff and the welcoming room at reasonable price. It offers the basic service needed for a short stay. I enjoy it
