Impressive”

It was our first time visit to Phuket and we had a lot of hesitations on booking hotels and finally we chose The Bliss South Beach and we did not regret one bit. (We had a complementary honeymoon decorations in our room too). Our 6 days 5 night stay at The Bliss South Beach was satisfying. The overall rating i'd give is 10/10. Breakfast is excellent. Location is great, just a little bit of a distance from Bangla St (walkable). Nice sea view. The only downside is that there's no gym. But they have 2 swimming pools which is 👍🏻👍🏻. And my Fiancé and I would like to thank Mr Toni and Mr Daniel from the reception for their wonderful and friendly service. It was such a pleasant one. All the other staffs were friendly and nice too. I would definitely recommend this hotel to travellers visiting Phuket, Patong. Thank you The Bliss, Mr Toni, and Mr Daniel for the wonderful and comfortable service and stay. It was a memorable one ❤

Location, service and did I say location? ”

This was my first visit to Phuket and I was a little overwhelmed with the choice of accommodation available. I am so glad that I chose to stay at The Bliss Hotel South Beach Patong. I stayed in a jacuzzi suit on floor 4 and was not disappointed. The rooms were HUGE and overlook the beautiful Patong Beach. The staff were very helpful and friendly, all the vibrancy of Patong is on your doorstep but because of its South Beach location is was a little quieter. The shower pressure was not great all the time and neither was the hot water but it is so hot in Patong it did not bother me. We were so impressed we have booked another night when we arrive back from Phi Phi.

Great Stay”

The Bliss is on the South end of Patong Beach (the beach runs North - South), and is out of the way from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the touristy areas. It is within walking distance to many of the Soi's with restaraunts and eateries, and even a short 10-12min straight walk from the party areas of Bangla Road. My wife and I liked being a little removed from the scene... This was our 1st time in Phuket/Patong...we wanted to stay closer to the likes of Kata/Karon beach for daytime chill, and still close enough to Center Patong for nighttime fun. Just note that Phuket has standard rates, so even though you're to the south and closer to Kata/Karon beaches...it's still a flat rate for TutTutt's and taxi's traveling around. The room was great and clean, it did have a great view; however, it can be a little blocked by the electric wires that line the street (pretty typical of SE Asia though). Also pretty typical was a hard bed... The room did have a hot water heater for coffee/tea, and the staff was very polite and helpful. Breakfast was delightful, changing everyday (we were the for 3 days) of different Thai tastes and a standard compliment of fruits and breads/toasts, and western breakfast items. Great stay if you like being a little removed... maybe look closer to Bangla or the center of the beach if you're looking for more of a party scene. We throughly enjoyed it, thanks for a great stay!

Bliss is the word”

We did a lot of reading before choosing Bliss and stayed there for 8 blissful days. We travelled with our 14 month old daughter and could not praise the staff more highly - they were absolutely fantastic. We stayed in a Deluxe suite, with a double Jacuzzi, oversize king size bed, lounge area and ocean views. The suite was large, well appointed and spotlessly clean. We’ve stayed at many hotels and resorts around the world and have both worked in hospitality. The Bliss is right up there for location, service, cleanliness and friendly staff. I’m not sure if we’re easily pleased or other guests have higher expectations. As for the food - the breakfast was great - fresh fruit, toast and pastries and a choice of American or Thai dishes. When it was busier they provided a full buffet breakfast. We had lunch and dinner in the restaurant and found the meals to be great. There are two pools to choose from and the ocean is just over the road. If you want to do laps – go to the gym. You would be hard pressed to find a larger pool at a similar sized hotel in Patong. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms, but with all the amazing, cheap restaurants in the area why would you want (or expect) more! The hotel is perfectly situated at the south end of the beach, minutes’ walk from the hustle and bustle but quiet at night, with just the waves on the beach. We were treated like royalty from the moment we were picked up right outside the airport door to when they dropped us off. I can understand why some guests might get frustrated with the language, but the staff did everything possible to ensure we had a fantastic stay. We found - for location, value, comfort and friendly staff we couldn’t go past The Bliss

Exceptional”

We spent a week at the Bliss Hotel South Beach Patong and loved it. It was exactly as presented in the photos. It is not a new hotel and our wing could do with a makeover however the location and staff make up for all of that. We loved that it is just out of the hustle and bustle of Patong Beach but just a short walk away. There are two pools but we found both of them to be warm and not refreshing to swim in, mainly because of the hot weather. We loved the restaurant/cafe/bar just off reception - Carpe Diem. Food is great, service is great, the view is great and the daily happy hour on food and beverages is also great. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location, friendly hotel”

We stayed 3 nights at Bliss Hotel in a deluxe room on the 4th floor. The hotel is in a good location at South Patong, with the beach directly in front of hotel (just have to cross a very small road). It is near enough to walk to Bangla Road where all the night spots are, about 10-15 minutes walk along the beach. There are several restaurants and cafes less than 5 minutes walk away - so finding food is not a problem. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel buffet breakfast is a bit simple, but has sufficient western breakfast foods including cereals, fruits and juices. Travel time from airport to hotel was about 45 minutes in usual traffic. If you have no time pressure to get to the hotel, I would suggest you take a shared mini-bus from the airport which will drop you directly at hotel, but will stop along the way to drop other passengers (since it is a shared transport). This is a significantly cheaper option than taking a private taxi to the hotel and we only had to wait half-hour until the minimum number of passengers were rounded up. All in all, an enjoyable short break, easy on the pocket.

Away from the bustling town ”

For us, it's our first time at Phuket and we read up a lot of reviews before booking. Pro: the bliss hotel is at the far end of the beach, fret not, there are still shops and stalls along the stretch of the road and you might even get cheaper deals since you're buying from the far end of the town. The resort is quiet and good for chilling.The jacuzzi bathtub is huge and perfect for couples. The beach is jsut across the resort hence you can go back to your hotel anytime if you need. We did it multiple times to take our phones and change clothes! Cons: the toilet seems to have some loopholes, but we DIY and covered it with papers. The house keeping did not change our towel or bath robes daily despite us not putting in on the rack. The bathtub was not cleaned properly and sands can still be seen after the cleaning. Overall, satisfied with the stay in Bliss Hotel and Jay, the front desk receptionist was very helpful towards us throughout our stay in the hotel. Thanks friendly security!

Fabulous hotel...will stay there again”

We have just returned from a week at The Bliss and had a fabulous time. We had a superior suite on 3rd floor and it was beautiful. Lovely spacious room with balcony overlooking the beach...the bathroom was fantastic. There was a separate living area with couch, coffee table and flat screen TV with a desk in the corner and a kitchenette. The bedroom was massive with king size bed, dresser, build in robes and another flat screen TV. Plenty of storage space and a safe. The bathroom was huge with massive shower and double Jacuzzi overlooking the ocean. Our whole experience there was exceptional. Housekeeping was great - never had any issues there. Things we loved: The size of the suite, the location - perfect with beach opposite and still walking distance to night life, the Beach - a bit quieter than the heart of Patong - this is more the south beach end. Fabulous service with drinks, umbrellas etc. and close to long boats. The bathroom - can't beat that view! We tended to shower with the outside light on at night however as all glass windows (frosted but exposed panels), Free Wifi in room - had no reception problems at all and spend many arvos on the balcony surfing the net The pool - loved the pool All in all a fab hotel and will happily stay there again

A nice stay at the quieter end of Patong”

Booked this hotel as it appeared to have all sea-view facing rooms. It did. Room was fine, clean, safe & comfortable. Staff were great & included breakfast was more than good enough. Noisy neighbours kept us awake on 2 nights, but the staff did take action. You must remember that Patong Beach is "Party Town" so if you're after a quieter stay, choose a beach further south, probably not Patong. Stay on Patong further north & you'll get no sleep at all! Russians tended to be the main offenders, loud, brash, racing around on noisy motorbikes, but not the fault of the hotel & hard to control. In summary, Bliss would be a recommended hotel by me for Patong, if you don't mind a bit of guest & street noise.

Nice Hotel”

The bliss hotel is a nice hotel. Located in the south of patong beach, is very good that is in front of the beach, just need to cross the street, near 7/11, money change office, massage and some market, but you need to consider at least 20 min walking to patong beach street (center of patong). Anyway, is good to walk, the area of the hotel is ok, a little far both no soo much. About the hotel, we choose a room with Jacuzzi and beach front. The room was very very good, 4 stars, bed amazing, good internet, good terrace and good bathroom. Also have a big refrigerator so you can buy from outside, and in room products was inside a very convenient price (for when you don’t want to go out to buy). The only problem for my room was the bathtub, that the smell was awful, disgusting, that’s why don’t give more points to the room. In total, I recommend this hotel only if you are looking for relax inside comfortable price, but if you are looking to enjoy, I recommend you a hotel near the beach street.

Bliss at the Bliss Hotel”

We found Bliss Hotel after cancelling our reservation at the Patong Beach Hotel upon check in. PBH was unwelcoming and disclosed unreasonable "additional fees" upon check in so we changed our hotel quickly. Special thanks to "Peter" from Agoda customer service who answered my distress call and immediately negotiated with PBH a resolve to the problem. We switched to the Bliss Hotel and were so happy we did. What a nice hotel and so welcoming. All the staff and services were wonderful. I'll go there again and again when in Phuket. Once again thanks to Peter from Agoda customer service for saving my holiday.

Best view on Pa tong Beach”

Super friendly staff, the view was amazing, Ii could here the water from my bed. i didn't try the breakfast but the meals that i ate at the hotel were great quality for the price point. I stayed in the low season so the room value was exceptional. I only used the Jacuzzi in my room once and it was huge for 2 people, good times. lol South end of patong beach and a 10 min walk to Bangala. I would love to stay at the Bliss if i visit Phuket again.

Great Location across the road from the beach”

Good hotel on Patong Beach. Just tucked away on the quiet part of the beach road and easy walking distance to everything. Good sized rooms, we stayed in the Jacuzzi suite rooms. We booked 3 rooms and was very happy with the big rooms. The staff at breakfast was awesome always ready to move tables as we went with our parent from both sides. So we were 6 people. One morning 2 of us where sick and the staff asked our parent if they could pack us some breakfast. Very caring and helpful. Will return to the Bliss hotel and stay in the Jacuzzi suite rooms again as the are so big and comfy. Thank you to all the staff at the Bliss, you are a great team. Marie and Paul South Africa

Great Place to stay”

read reviews that the hotel is dated. Yes it is, but you forget about that within 5 minutes because of the positives this hotel has. I just had some laundry done, went in at 9:50 am, back at 3:00 pm. The staff are amazing, friendly and helpful. I rented a car and for most of my trip I was parked at the front of the hotel. When I left, Security stopped traffic so I could I get out.. Breakfast was good, a typical asian interpretation of a european breakfast, but tasty with fresh eggs and omelettes. Bed was supercomfy, clean and the sweetest housekeeping ladies on the earth. Now to the best, the location is perfect. Right opposite the ocean and the beach, with magnificent ocean views. The Beach is not so great here but only 500 metres away from the popular part of patong beach. Bangla Road is a 15 minute walk or 5 mins by taxi (200 baht). Otop markets are a 10 minute walk, and the South Beach Bars are 3 minutes walk. Exchange kiosk is right outside the door. Cannot fault this place.

Wonderful stay! ”

I can highly recommend The Bliss Hotel South Patong! I was in one of the Ocean Suites with Jacuzzi which was very nice and right on the beach road overlooking the ocean . The staff was all very nice and friendly, I felt right at home. My only complaint was that it’s a bit of a walk down to the entertainment area around Bangla, but that may not matter to most. I will most certainly stay at this hotel again someday, likely when traveling as a couple instead of as a single. :)

The name was the hotel was perfect. It was surely a bliss at the Patong Beach! Location: Close to the beach, most of the rooms has balcony from where you can enjoy the sea. Close to the popular areas yet not noisy. Room: The corridor is old, but the room was spacious and modern. AC works well. Bed: Super comfy. TV: Not much option for the international traveller. Toilet: Good size and modern Pool: Very nice outdoor swimming pool for children and adults. Breakfast: Superb Check in & check out: Fast & efficient. Staff: Helping. In house restaurant: local food mostly. Special mention: They even provided us complimentary soft drinks in the room! Overall, it is a fantastic hotel just in the sea beach and absolutely value for money.

Five star service. Great location. Aging hotel.”

First and foremost, the staff at The Bliss Hotel are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is aging and is probably ready for a remodel, but the maintenance and housekeeping do their best to keep the place up. The breakfast was outstanding. A large variety of items. I contacted the hotel prior to booking a room to find out the difference between a Superior Sea View and a Deluxe Sea View. The difference is the floor. Deluxe Sea View is on the 4th floor. Superior Sea View is on the 2nd and 3rd floor. We opted for the Deluxe Sea View and were very happy with the room. The staff was very helpful with arranging for a driver to visit the Big Buddha and other parts of the island as well as a day long excursion to Phang Nga Bay. Normally I would book this myself in advance, but we travelled to Phuket on very short notice and did not have time to pre-book. The price per night is a bit much for Phuket, but the staff and location make up for it. I would stay here again.

Loved this place”

I booked the ocean view jacuzzi suite to treat myself to some relaxation. Upon check in the staff was very friendly and helpful and told me the room was beautiful. They were right, the room was great, the view was great not disappointed. I felt guilty filling the massive jacuzzi to use alone but I figured I paid for it and I should at least try it once. It was a bit noisy and I probably wouldn’t get the jacuzzi room next time but worth it for this trip. The hotel is a bit older but I didn’t mind it one bit, everything worked just fine. The pool looked nice but I never used it. Location is nice, right on the south end of Patong Beach. If you want to be close to night life but able to sleep at night it’s perfect. The road traffic was a bit loud but that will be the same with any hotel that close to the beach. Overall I thought it was a great room and great value for the price. Forgot to mention the bed was very comfortable also, hard to find in Thailand.

Great Service & Friendly Staff”

The Hotel's location is nice with sea view. 3rd & 4th Floor Rooms are better for Sea View. The rooms are very spacious and Jacuzzi is nice. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. We encountered confrontation with very rude Mini Bus Driver (shared air port transfer from outside transport) on check-out date. We decided not to follow that minibus with rude driver. The staffs are aware the situation and helped us to contact the transport company. Then we got back the refund from transport company with their help. Finally we managed to book private transport from hotel with peace of mind. Special Thanks to Mr. Justin & staffs on that day (Sorry! we didn't note down the names of other staffs) for their great help. Wish to stay at The Bliss again for future trips to Patong, Phuket.
