I styed for half day as my flight was scheduled same day late evening, the room was very neat & cleaned. the staff were also good. the location is good ... only 20 mins to reach Patong Beach, Phuket Thanks.
I booked a superior room, but there was nothing superior about it. The location is fine, but the room was not clean, the A/C wasn’t effective, and both the blanket and towel had an unpleasant smell. Overall, very disappointing and not what I expected. Would not recommend this place.
Unfortunately my personal experience at this hostel is not consistent with many other positive reviews. I don’t consider this facility a three stars hotel in my standards. Everything is outdated and very basic, Guests smoke weeds. I advised the facility at booking that I need a quiet room as I’m a light sleeper. When I checked in, gave me a room facing street, loud noises went on all night long. Maybe it’s the last room available, however no one explained it to me. Room AC running loud too, hard bed. Staff are polite and welcoming though

Reception staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was far from main mall. Room was good.
Cracky windows and beds. You will hear the windows shaking entire time because of wind. Balcony is terrible. Air conditioning outer will direct all the hot air on to you.
Little moon is located at a great place, close enough to the patong area but still offering peaceful surroundings. The staff here is very helpful, they have an in house bar. Food leaves a lot to be desired for, there are convenience stores located nearby which is a huge plus.

Highly recommended! So cheap but the room is good! Also the staff are nice! They are easy to talk to and always smiles.
It was an average stay with not too good amenities. Cleanliness could be better.
A simple hotel with spacious room and a comfortable bed. Staff were friendly, room cleaned every day. Location is close enough to the action but far away enough to get some peace from it.

Good hotel, little noisy street and not so good soundproof. Good everyday house keeping. It is little bit far a way from city center. About 15min walk to Bangla. There is two small grossery shop near by, laundry, hotel restaurants. Taxis are all ways waiting customers on street. I feel very safe but sometimes people made noise when coming back from downtown middle of night. Lobby restaurant, reasonable prices. Very nice staff and they are all ways ready to serve. Manager is french so customers from France is often see. There were families, solo, cuoples, groups staying here. Not so many back packers. Be ready to listen french music at the lobby. ✌🏽☺️
It's a great place if you wanna live with family. Clean and good staff. Even they allowed us to check in early at 10 am.
To far to Night life
The location is quite far from Bangla Road or Patong road. However, we can eat street food when walking. The receptionist is very kind (he is old man), he gave me medicine and warm water when I was fever and cough.
The manager was soo welcoming and the room was massive and clean. Location was a 5 min drive from the beach and the main strip.
Stayed here for one night before going to Phi Phi. The room was clean and large, the air con was a bit mouldy and the fridge did not work however this was not a big deal for us. Overall it was an alright stay

musty smell of the room, sheets and a bit dirty pillow cases did not allow me to sleep for the whole night. when i entered the room the musty smell welcomed me. The room is big though and toilet with 2 soap, no shampoo. New towels but all the sheets in the bed smelled like it was sitting there for a month or so. I checked the pillowcase and flipped it and found out black dirt like a mold. I got a room without window on the ground floor. I did not ask the staff anymore for a room change because i already planned to check-out early. If you like to walk this is maybe 20 mins walk away from the beach or depends how fast you walk and 5 mins or so if you drive motorcy. There’s a nearby family mart near this hotel and walking distance to a cabaret.
Little Moon Residence has a great review and I'm sure at some point it does do well - probably in high season. I would not recommend this hotel in low season. Every day starts off with a bang...literally. Or should I say banging! They are fixing loud metallic tunings in the building. The sound is deafening...and annoying since it wakes you up. Don't count on a sleep in here. Also, not completely their fault that a loud guests calls back home at 1am and shouts on his phone to his relatives but he does it in the stairwell. The echo is phenomenal! It's like you left the tv on full blast...he woke me up on two occasions. Warranted a cranky yell out my door to shut up!! Point to this is that the walls in this hotel are thin! Low season at this hotel also equals low budget service. Floor mats are dirty and tatty. Hotel staff ignore you. I guess if you like that then this is the place for you. If you choose to stay, I hope it works out better for you. Thanks for reading.
Hi, We just spent the 6 months of low season to deeply renovate all our 36 rooms. (except the 2 budget rooms situated at the ground floor) We tried to explain to all our low season guests that there would be some construction noise, Regarding the floor mats, we buy new floor mats, bedsheets, towels etc.. twice a year for all the hotel, and they are daily cleaned by an external laundry provider, you should have notified us, that day, we would have changed them the same day, and as we have a daily maid service they have, at least, been changed twice during your 3 days stay here. We are pretty sure you met this problem only once, Nevertheless, we really apologize for your bad experience in our place during this specific period, and we would like to offer you a special goodwill gesture during your next stay with us, just show us your passport and last reservation during your next check-in, Best regards, The Little Moon Residence

Hotel is average with not very friendly staff. There was no parking space and one has to park at the road side about 50-70 meters away across the road with heavy traffic flow that is quite unsafe.
I was surprised when I entered the room, I thought for the money I paid its too good to be true. I wouldn't recomment you getting any tours or taxi from the hotel, they charge double. The staff its nice
I book this Hotel for a friend for two nights, he was happy with the place & stay on for another 8 days.
The rooms are what you typically expect for the price. A little off from Patong beach, away from the rowdy nightlife that is Bangla Road but that is a good thing! A little walk after a heavy meal in Malin or Banzan plaza wouldn't hurt anybody. Overall, the place was simple, clean and staffed by the nicest of people!
Can go around everywhere on the island and come back to this place with ease.
My wife and I stayed here for a week so we could hang out and enjoy our visit in the Patong area and travel around Phuket. What to expect? Nothing fancy. The staff and employees are humble people, they speak broken english and they will greet you with a smile. The place, at least for us was perfect. Our room was big, very clean and it had all we need. We chose the "Mountain View" room. That way we could have our privacy and sit on the balcony to enjoy the breeze and fresh air. If you choose the other, you will have another building in front of you blocking your view and probably will have close the curtains. It was quiet and peaceful. It's located in a dead end street, in an area with other cheap hotels and hostels. There is a Family Mart at the beginning of the street with a ATM. This place is for people that do not want to stay at a hostel and would like to pay a little more for a better accommodations. This hotel is very good if you want to stay in the Patong and its on walking distance, between 15 to 20 minutes to the Malin Plaza, Patong Beach, Bangla Road and Jungceylon Shopping Mall. We like this place and we really did enjoy our stay here. We would come back here for another stay.
It's abit far from Bangla road and jungcelyloan. Walking distance around 30min and advise to take tuk tuk which cost around THB 200-300 per tuk tuk. If u wan to take your trip, advise to find it around the happening street. If u are lack of time to find urself, u may ask the hotel receiption to help u book for the island trip. No doubt it will be more expensive than outside maybe THB100- 200 which I think is reasonable. Spacious room and suitable for family.
place is fantastic in terms of value for money, cleanliness, and staff customer service.. a bit too far from the beach for me though, can't even walk to Patong beach coz the roads are a bit unsafe for walking (sidewalk too small, motorcycles and cars speeding by etc). if you know how to ride a motorbike, then location is okay. can rent motorbikes here. if not, transportation can be expensive. The counter staff were very helpful and will do everything they can to make your stay a pleasant one. I also felt very safe in this place, the staff are kind and it has 24hr staff on duty and cctv. A lot of tv channels too, more than the usual. Overall, my stay was very good. I just wish it was nearer to the beach and that the nearby roads were safer for pedestrians.
Will definitely stay here again when I'm in phuket.
Great location from the center of town for a restful sleep. Very helpful staff, many thanks to Eric who made our stay and onward trip smooth sailing by facilitating a great deal on scooter rental and booking us on a boat to Phi Phi island and back with a open ticket. With transfers from the hotel to boat, then on to the airport on time for our flight back without a hitch. Verry happy indeed thanks for everything will recomend The little moon to anyone wanting to stay in Patong :D
Clean, modern hotel. Large rooms and nice amenities. About a 3km walk to most of the attractions of Phuket.
