INCREDIBLE STAY. WONDERFUL STAFF. AMAZING LOCATION”

My wife and I went to Krabi for a "babymoon" and decided, following much deliberation, on the Tubkaak Boutique Resort. After visiting some of the other highly rated hotels in the area, we can confirm that the decision was definitely the right one. And we are SUPER PICKY. Besides the enormous attention-to-detail that has gone into the architecture of the resort, each room feels like a secluded, private cottage with wonderful finishes - from outdoor showers to private pools (depending on your budget). The location, however, is undoubtedly most suited to those who want to "get away from it all"...or have their own transport. Because you are 10 minutes from the nearest "non-hotel" restaurants by taxi...20 minutes from Ao Nang and over 30 minutes from Krabi Town - both of which can be reached by reasonably-priced hotel shuttles. But that really didn't bother us. Because on our 10 night stay, we only left the cosy seclusion of the Tubkaak four times - to sample different food. This, for me, is really the only downside. The food at the Tubkaak is very good, make no mistake. But two restaurants - one Italian, the other Thai - can be a little restrictive. This shortcoming was more than compensated for, however, by literally the most wonderful service we have encountered. You truly feel pampered in every respect. And both the Hotel Manageress - Pat - and the Resident Manager, Sunny went out of their way to make sure we were always comfortable and satisfied. Our rooms were incredibly clean, beautifully laid out and topped up daily with mineral water and, most often, fresh plates of fruit. The private beach, though, was unrivaled. Immaculately maintained, huge comfy beanbags, breathtaking the sunsets... In short, we loved our stay. The food and architectural masterpiece spa were a little pricey, but we would return to the Tubkaak Boutique Resort in a heartbeat. Highly highly recommended.

Beautiful Spa like Retreat”

we stayed 5 nights at the tubkaak boutique krabi and loved every moment (despite the fact it rained every day). the rooms are modern, spacious, and the outdoor bathroom was the best! all service from check in, to dining, the spa, and coordination of excursions and transportation was flawless. by the second day at the resort staff were calling us by first name! the resort only has one restaurant but the menu us diverse and we were always impressed by the quality of the food (massaman curry is the best in thailand). breakfast was included and very good. there was a huge buffet spread of meats, cheeses, fruits and veggies, hot items, pastries, as well as a menu of thai and western entrees to order. coffee, tea and juices were wonderful. the prices for meals is a bit higher than we were used to after traveling thailand for a week, but were typical for what we are used to paying in the states. they also host a happy hour at sunset every night with 2 for 1 drinks that are to die for! if i had one complaint about the restaurant it would be that they dont include still drinking water with the meals. seeing as how you cant drink the tap and many meals were quite spicy i feel this should be included. the beach has one of the most spectacular views we have ever seen, but the water was cloudy with the occasional jelly fish sting. the pool was a great retreat at the end of the day, always clean and warm. overall we loved our stay at the tubkaak and would return if we find ourselfves in krabi in the future! special thank you to james at the arundia restaurant for always having a smile and kind welcome!

The most beautiful hotel”

The Tubkaak Krabi was the most beautiful hotel we stayed in whilst we were in Thailand. The architects really got it right and it suits it's environment perfectly. The staff were great, very helpful and professional, they made our stay amazing. For example, I booked most of my ferry transfers myself but when it came to getting from The Tubkaak Krabi Boutique to Phi Phi. I knew before I left South Africa that the staff at Tubkaak would organise that leg and they would do it for a very reasonable price of 450THB p/p. Other hotels in Thailand charged much more for transfers and it left a bitter taste. The breakfast was great and view was amazing, we will definitely be back!

Spectacular Honeymoon Spot”

Our stay at Tubkaak Boutique Resort was absolutely perfect. The room we stayed in (a deluxe suite) was lovely, clean and very comfortable. The staff is so very friendly. We were greeted with warmth and smiles from every staff member. The hotel was able to arrange safe (very big deal here) transportation to everywhere we wanted to go. The food at the two restaurants was outstanding for traditional Thai, Italian and the homesick American burger that we caved and ate one day. Fantastic service in each. The beach is private to some extent so it was never crowded and always romantic. Happy hour at the bar on the beach is during sunset everyday and we didn’t miss a sunset here (I wouldn’t suggest you miss one either). Take the trip to Hong island organized by the hotel but watch out for water monitor lizards! We walked to every beach resort nearby, this is by far the most beautiful, you won’t be disappointed.

A boutique resort that operates like a 5 star chain resort ”

We had a really great time here at the Tubkaak Krabi boutique resort. Service was top notch from the minute we arrived to the time we left. You practically didn’t need to leave the resort, food is good and there’s daily activities organised by the resort plus free Kayaks and paddle boards. If you’re tired of the hotels food just venture outside and there’s lots of great food to choose from. We would definitely come back to Tubkaak

Nice relaxing getaway”

I stayed at The Tubkaak Boutique resort with my girl friend for my birthday weekend and had a sea view pool villa. We love the location Tubkaak is on, the private beach with clean fine sand, the unobstructed view of the sea and islands opposite, the calm sea to swim and float in, the mini Magnum stall right on the beach for the hot afternoon, Tubkaak is like a paradise! The breakfast selection at Tubkaak was wonderful especially with the crisp "banana nutella pancake which is made to order. The restaurant and its food varieties at Tubkaak were good as well and we had 2 dinners there. Overall, a great resort for a getaway if one is looking for peaceful space.

We stayed at the Tubkaak Boutique Resort for one week and we had a great time! Starting with the pick up service at the airport, private pool villas, breakfast, beach, activities, spa etc... Everything was wonderful! The Arundina restaurant is highly recommended! They offer local food which is very delicious to a fair price... Enjoy the beautiful sunset's at the beach while you get a drink from the bar ;) If you would like to explore the area rent a motorbike (or a bicycle) at the reception... The staff is very helpful! We definitely recommend The Tubkaak Boutique Resort! Thanks for a great week...

Fantastic Hotel, Great Location, Intimate Service”

My girfriend (28) and I (32) stayed here for a week when looking for a luxurious stay of pe3ace and relaxation and we were not disappointed. The hotel is set in gorgeous tropical gardens where the architects of the hotel minimised the number of trees cut down when designing the hotel which results in a beautiful and tranquil setting. As a result the rooms are not the largest but are of a good enough size and have a great outdoor shower and bath with well made fittings and furnishings. The hotel is right on the beach but local law prevents the use of sunbeds so they provide bean bags instead. The beach is quiet, clean and with shallow sea so good for everyone. The restaurant and cocktail bar provide excellent fod and drinks and both overlook the beautiful Hong Islands providing a movie-set backdrop to all meals and evening drinks. Prices are good value considering it's a 5* hotel and comparable to other hotels of the same price bracket. The hotel is quiet and secluded which is perfect if that's what you're after. The hotel organise competitively priced excursions and tours and are ensure your experience goes without hitch. The service in the hotel is intimate and personal. All staff are friendly, welcoming and are genuinely warm and kind in their manner. If you're after a quiet getaway then look no further. We also stayed at the Amari Vogue just up the beach - the Tubkaak is a more quiet and intimate hotel and probably comes out on top for us of the two. I cannot recommend the Tubkaak highly enough and the team of staff there make it that extra bit special. It's not a 5 star hotel in the Rizt-Carlton/Hilton sense but it doesn't try to be and but it is 5* in it's own right.

Spectacular!”

Southern Thailand was the best part of our trip to Thailand and The Tubkaak Krabi Boutique Resort definitely played a part in this. Stayed in the Seaview room and it was well worth the extra $ to wake up to a view of the ocean. The room was fantastic. The staff was also fantastic. If we ever travel to southern Thailand again, we will absolutely stay here again. Thank you for an amazing stay/experience.

Wonderful honeymoon at the Tubkaak”

My husband and I were looking for a getaway at the end of a busy honeymoon where we had explored northern Thailand and Cambodia. The Tubkaak offered us a Paradise setting, with staff who was extremely friendly and who all knew our names within two days of us being there. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable, and we loved our outdoor bath, shower, and balcony. The view from the beach is unmatched, and the beanbag chairs on the beach are wonderfully comfortable and relaxing. In the mid-afternoon, when the tropical sun gets to be a bit too intense, we enjoyed heading up to the pool, which was immaculate and very refreshing. The food at the restaurant was always delicious, and the happy hour at sunset every night was always fun. If you stay here, be sure to book a trip out to the Hong Islands. If you are thinking about a trip to Railay Beach, it is beautiful, but it is hot and crowded, with very little shade, and isn't as impressive once you've seen the Hong Islands. If you're looking for peace, quiet, comfort, and privacy, I recommend staying put on the Tubkaak Beach and just going with the day trip out to the Hong Islands. All in all, I couldn't have asked for a better end to a dream trip to Asia. I would recommend the Tubkaak Resort to anyone and everyone thinking of spending some time on the beach in Thailand.

Great Boutique hotel tucked away in serenity”

We highly enjoyed our stay at the Tubkaak. We are not typical boutique hotel-stayers as we tend to favour the 5 star hotels with facilities better but Tubkaak was a real gem! The rooms are nice and clean but nothing particularly out of this world worth mentioning. We did appreciate the attention to detail (e.g. lemongrass burner to scent the room) was much appreciated. When in Thailand, we tend to avoid the resort food, opting for the street version as they always tend to more authentic (and not to mention cheaper!). However, we thoroughly enjoyed having our breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Tubkaak as the food was simply great and reasonably priced. The breakfast buffet is more Western than Asian, and when I asked for rice porridge, the cook quickly whipped a fresh and absolutely delicious Thai rice porridge just for me. How wonderful! All in all, we absolutely loved our stay at the Tubkaak. The library is also a great highlight - I loved all the cookbooks they had in store. We love that they have a no parasol/umbrella policy on the beach. And oh, we normally find the 'romantic dining on the beach' a little cheesy - but Tubkaak does it in real style and comfort. Its definitely special!

A Great Hotel”

The stay at Tubkaak Boutique resort was amazing. The rooms were big with very comfortable beds. The bathroom is an outdoor type bathroom with shower and tub where you can relax. The beach is clean and beautiful. And the food is great, but a little on the expensive side. Over all a highly recommended place to stay for your vacation at Krabi.

Worth every penny”

The resort is located on a picturesque and private beach. You will be mesmerised by the sunset and the view of 13 islands from the resort. The food is delicious, especially the Italian restaurant. The staff service was perfect. So was the spa service. The resort also offers assistance in booking tours and have good contacts. We took the Krabi 4 island tour and it was one of the best tours we went to during our trip to Krabi. If you wish to enjoy the beauty of the location that TubKaak resort offers, opt for the seaview rooms/suite.

Beautiful, small hotel.”

The Tubkaak hotel is just north of Krabi, about 45 minutes from the airport. It is located on a beautiful beach with some fantastic views looking towards Phuket. Most of the hotels --and there are only a few --on this beach are well concealed in the trees and so the beach feels fairly "natural." The grounds of the Tubkaak are gorgeous and the staff is very attentive and professional. My one suggestion for the Tubkaak is that it invest in some real sea kayaks (as opposed to the sit on top type it has) so guests can paddle out to the islands in the distance.

Quiet getaway”

Tubkaak Boutique is around 40mins by taxi from Krabi airport and roughly 20mins from Ao Nang. It is definitely quite a bit out of the way but if you want a quiet, relaxing getaway, this is the place to go. There are about 3 other resorts along the same beach and we thought Tubkaak was by far the best in terms of the feel and quietness. The staff were excellent! Very polite, english spoken, and very attentive. Rooms were big and comfortable. Would recommend this place and would definitely come back

Beautiful Holiday at a Serene Resort!”

Our holiday at The Tubkaak Boutique Resort was a very pleasant stay. The food at this resort (at the Thai Restaurant) is simply awesome. We didn't have any complaints about the location as we wanted a quite and peaceful place to unwind. The staff were extremely friendly and the Resident Manager even took time to meet us at our breakfast table for a small chat. My request for a bouquet of flowers was met with utmost creativity and quality put into it. I say this because the arrangement was different from what I usually get back in my place. Will definitely come back to The Tubkaak in the future!

Absolutely stunning”

We ended our trip in Thailand with Tubkaak boutique, it was the icing on the cake. Absolutely stunning beach and hotel. The staff were so professional throughout our stay. We do not like to be made a fuss of. The staff seemed to understand how and when you approach you, so helpful and it is very clear within all areas the staff want to make your experience the very best it can. We stayed in superior room which was beautiful. Double bath and shower room was stunning, beds also really comfortable. The pool is cooling with drink and fresh food service brought to you. Food was amazing with some offers and a mixture of traditional thai food, Italian and burgers, so something for everyone, I didn't look at vegetarian options. Dinning watching the sun goes down was stunning. The beach is beautuful with very comfortable bean bags to lie on. I can not fault this hotel amenities, the atmosphere, cleanliness and staff professionalism throughout our stay

Excellent Stay at Tubkaak Boutique”

From the first impression till the point we left, we were very impressed with the resort, especially in the area of service. Upon reaching, the manager take time to greet us and had a small chat to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Unlike other hotels, we were reminded by the staff on our flight and departure timing. There's even porter service when we check out - first time ever! Trust me, it helps as there were a couple of flights of stairs. The complementary cold/hot dip & suana was good gesture. There are 2 main selling points of the resort, in my opinion. The wonderful sight of the sea and islands afar and the 'exclusivity' of the beach. The sight was truly breathtaking...it is an experience to have breakfast by the beach (restaurant is next to the beach) with that view is just awesome. The beach was never crowded. In fact, nor were the restaurants or swimming pools. This is a resort you want to come, enjoy, pamper yourself. For us, we have enjoyed the island hopping and night markets of Ao Nang so at Tubkaak, it was just to relax. The restaurant serves good breakfast and mouthwatering Thai meals. We'll be back!

Tubkaak beautiful and staff beyond amazing ”

We arrived at this beautiful , serene and tranquil resort nestled in the trees and on the sea front , overlooking the limestone cliffs of Krabi. We had a delicious meal at the gorgeous Thai restaurant . The next day was my birthday and we went on a boat trip. My partner ended up with an extremely severe gash to her leg so deep you could see the bone . The hotel were quite simply unbelievable. A very kind , generous woman called Thasida was allocated to us for the rest of the trip . She followed the ambulance to the hospital and visited us there when my partner was admitted . She arranged our flights home, took us to the airport , arranged a wheelchair and asked us to let us know when we got home. I have never experienced such kindness from a stranger. I can not recommend the staff enough. Thank you so so much Tubkaak we loved the resort and we cannot thank you enough. Go there it is magic in every way.

Heaven on Earth”

Tubkaak Boutique Resort is the highlight of my Krabi trip. Breathtaking. I was captivated by the perfect blend of nature and beautiful architecture. Impressed how the property was able to enhance the surrounding nature and bringing out the true definition of "paradise" to its guests. On top of that, hospitality and customer service are fantastic. Wish I could have stayed longer..
