"We enjoyed 12 nights at this quiet motel, located close to the airport, a short bus ride to central Cairns and a short walk to the Esplanade. The beds were comfortable and the servicing of the room was great. It was a bonus having a shuttle bus to the city and the same to the airport on departure. The pool and barbecue area was very nice. Geoff, Angie and Deborah were all extremely helpful and pleasant. So nice to be able to ask questions about places to see and to have any requests met with a smile. Would definitely stay there again. "We had a fantastic stay. Apartment well designed. Unique option to turn TV into bedroom/loungeroom through a shared wall. Kitchen well equipped. Huge Fridge. Balcony was huge with great views. Air-conditioning x 2 (one in bedroom and one in loungeroom area). Bed was very comfortable. Private laundry right outside the door (shared with 1 other unit), own iron in room and hairdryer. Initial coffee/tea/milk supplied - for those self catering - a supermarket is just down the road, with a large shopping center about 5 minutes drive. Walking distance to beach - less than 5 minutes. Beach has a special area cordoned off for swimming in stinger season. The Blue Lagoon has some fab restaurants on location or within 3 minutes walk. Apartment is about 15 mins to airport. We hired a car in Cairns and found the Blue Lagoon Resort a great base to explore the Atherton Tablelands, Cape Tribulation, Port Douglas, Cairns, Kuranda, Innisfail and Harlteys Crocodile Farm. Easy access check in and check out. We are seasoned travellers and Highly Recommend The Blue Lagoon Resort. Thanks Agoda!! We will definitely use your site again! Top marks! "

"Very good accommodation in Cairns. It is about 30 min walk to central Cairns. The place has all you need for your holidays: spacious rooms, clean and a nice swimming pool. Thanks. "

"Upgraded to larger unit free of charge. Really helpful staff who gave honest opinions about the tourist things (what are not worth the money). Very comfortable and affordable stay (we had infant with us who had plenty of crawling room). A friend who worked a few months in Cairns recommended the Balinese restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised when we found it attached to our hotel. The food at this restaurant is great (I am a foodie). I must admit we normally don't book if a unit is part of a large hotel but I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet our unit was (it was in a corner spot so I can't speak for the other units/room. The were only about 6-8 parking spots but they were secure parking that you were provided with a pin for. Cairns is so easy to get about without a car so most spots were not used and we were able to park close to our unit. There was a share swimming pool that seemed popular but we didn't have the need for that. We were provided with 5 hrs worth of free Internet use (not wi-fi) for our 1 night stay but we didn't need that either. We certainly mad egos use of a voucher for 2 free drinks for our meals at its restaurant. Overall a very good stay."

"Excellent location as next to Cairns Central Shopping center. Self contained apartments with pool access to guests. Laundry facilities and B-B-Q facilities also available. Easy walking distance to the Cairns CBD. In house entertainment good with a wide range of TV channels. Bus service available in Lake street which is 3 blocks from SCAA. Cairns taxis available at Cairns Central or by phone/internet booking. 15 minute taxi ride from Cairns Int'l/Domestic airport, about AUD$20. In House dining available with snacks and drinks available from office. Office hours 7am to 7pm."

"We would like to recommend this facility to anyone who visit Cairns. The apartment has everything that you are looking for. The best of all, the laundry facilities are inside each apartment, which really helped us cleaning our clothes. The fully equipped kitchen was also making the place above and beyond other lodging places. The staff was very helpful and very organized. We will stay here again if we visit Cairns in the future."

"Of course, the cleanliness and location are the best among Carins. Walkable distance to the reef terminal and night market as well as very close to the supermarket (woodward's). The facility is great, we can connect whatever the device onto the big TV screen in the room to enjoy our night. This is the best part, the staffs are extremely friendly and helpful. We happen to enjoy too much in the hotel and left our house keys. We realised it after we check-out and called the staff for help. They put the effort to find the key for us and even email to our place. We are very appreciated. We cannot pick any drawback at all."

"Nothing fancy but comfortable and very clean. We had one bedroom apartment which was spacious with all amenities. Wifi was sometimes week, did not work in a bedroom. The hotel is located on a beautiful promenade in front of a nice beach great for swimming. Many barbecue spots around. Convenient location between Cairns and Port Douglas. Excellent spot for Great Barrier Reef exploration, you can book your trip in the lobby. There are many restaurants in Palm Cove, however they are overpriced and quality of food and service was quite poor. You can use bus 110 to Cairns (the stop is just in front of the hotel) but car rental is highly recommended. Otherwise excellent choice. "
