"Greetings to the management of Lotus Serviced Apartment Hotels TNagar Chennai😊My parents and i stayed at this humble but delightful place from 2nd June till 8th June.Rooms were very clean,comfortable and peaceful.Tried their breakfast and i must say it was delicious.Missing the great taste of the south indian chutneys and the Dosa here.Big pat for the chef and all the kitchen staffs.More than anything i would like to personally praise the efficiency and dedication of the staffs there Mr Dass the duty manager who is always calm and composed and never fails to guide us in everything we ask for. Mr.Kathir who checked us out perfectly at the wee hours because we had to leave at 3.30 am to airport.They are so dedicated that i noted them taking even their dinner so late after finishing up their duties.Special thanks to housekeeping brother Jayaraj who single handedly helped with all our bags.I would like to suggest to have a trolley to help him with the guest luggages in the future.Housekeeping lady Mrs Laxmi cleaned our rooms daily so well and was very accomodative too.Thank you Laxmi 😊.Not forgetting the very friendly security/watchman Uncles.Uncle Perumal and Sagayam who were super friendly and very helpful in getting us cabs and autos right at the door step since my Mom was having difficulty in walking post knee surgery.Special mention to Mrs Kalai 😊who went all out to give us the best service through out our stay there.Thanks a million Kalai.All hotels need staffs like you.Would like to just mention that the refrigerator wasnt cold enough and could be looked into and hope all the bags at the counter to be tagged to avoid confusions in the future.In a nutshell it was a lovely stay here with friendly warm staffs.8/10 is my rating and definitely looking forward to come back for another pleasant memorable stay.P/S all the staff need pay raise for their dedication and hardwork certainly 😊🙏Nandri Vanakam-Dr.Lalitha Malar Maniam Malaysia"

"We got a room at 50% discounted rate. This was amazing value for money! Big clean rooms, comfortable bed, roomy bathroom, elevator, free wifi (no problems), silent aircon unit, cable tv. What else do you need? The hotel is in a quiet and peaceful backstreet just 500 m from Thiruvanmyur bus depot, so you can find a direct bus to almost everywhere in Chennai. Many good places for eating in the neighbourhood (City Gates hotel, Hot Chips a.o.). The staff is very friendly and helpful. Fast service! No complaints at all. Definitely recommended for budget lodging in Chennai."

"My wife and children loved the apartment! The staff were pleasant and extremely helpful. The breakfast could improve though-it was only prepared when we stepped into the restaurant. The manager, Mr Govind, was a wonderful chap who got me a birthday cake I requested and even allowed me to use the restaurant for the celebration. The place is situated close to places of attraction which is a big plus point."

"We were 3 people staying in Hanu Reddy for 1 day (US visa processing). Have stayed in hotels across of all classes in many parts around the world and this was the best overall experience till date. Our original priority was to have a very clean and fairly comfortable place to sleep and hygienic rest room. (Note: We were NOT looking for luxury). Based on the trip advisor reviews this seemed to fit the bill. The room was quite big including the bath room. It had a comfy bed and they arranged for an extra cot for 3rd person. TV with Dish channels, fridge and big writing table. Marble floors. But what made me happy was to see the Dettol Handwash in bath room as well wash basins in common areas. Again most of the above and much more can be had in luxury hotels by default (at higher price), but what took the cake for us was the food quality. We had Indian cuisine (both north and south) and it was as good as my mother's preparation. I fail to recall any 5 star hotel till date which provides tasty food (its usually more show/presentation rather than substance). And the icing on the cake was service. Very amiable and attentive staff. The whole property is very green (though the stuffy chennai climate subdues everything) and located in a central place. We did household shopping and visited few temples. If I ever visit Chennai, Hanu Reddy it will be Tip: Strongly advice to hire taxi on hourly basis or by KM to roam city. We used Fast Track and had a good experience. We heard NTL is also good. Avoid Auto rickshaw at all costs. Specially not from US consulate as they will drive you around to every place other than destination and will not listen to reason or Google maps."

"The Lotus is a great place, whether you are new to India, or heading home. Chennai doesn't have a lot to recommend about itself, I think for a start to find a quiet place to sleep is pretty good. I was pretty done in by the time I got to Chennai that I really appreciated the respite the Lotus afforded. When in Chennai, eat both in the Saravana Bhavan, and the Rainbow room, great food and great contrast. Good luck. "
