"I stayed here for a night and had a very comfortable pleasant stay! The hostel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hostel premises was super clean and tidy - and the rooms were cozy and comfortable! The hostel's location is also excellent with lots of tourist attractions nearby, and quaint little cafes around the area to explore. Had a splendid time overall! I'll definitely return here on my next visit to Cairns!"

"Hostel located right opposite of Esplanade Lagoon. Next to Mcdonalds and 3min walk to Woolworths. Receptionist Laura is so helpful and friendly. I'm in love with the 4th floor open concept kitchens and living area I spend at least 4 to 5 hours sitting there to watch sunrise or sunset. The only hostel in Australia I had ever stayed with seaview. Kitchen is huge and clean. The only thing is imperfect was housekeeping. I been staying for 4days and 3nights. The floor mat was dirty since the day I checked in and not changing until I checked out. I can only see the rubbish was thrown and toilet roll and towel were refills. But definitely I will be back! "

"I have staid at another hostel that was extremely dirty and has to ask for refund and leave so after that I checked many hostels in cairns. Yha was the best, very clean, the bathrooms are new and nice. Nice and chill atmosphere and in front of the supermarket and shopping mall. Not a party hotel but you can meet nice people and party outside. I stayed more than a week while I was planning to stay only 3 days"

"I knew this from my friend, she recomend as this is so far the best hostel you can stay in cairns, so i give it a go. Yep i found out its true! I made new friends in the room, we're out and having a good time together, the staff is also helpful and friendly, they always have something happening in the bar like free drinks free pizza, ect. Only the wifi is lame, and you need to pay extra for this. The bathroom is inside each room which is nice. I also got room with balcony, and its pretty big balcony. It is good if you are a smoker. I think this is the best hostel in Cairns."

"I've been here numerous times, and everything is amazing. The common area is so cool and clean, it has a big tv with Netflix, different areas to chill with tables and banks, a big swimming pool, a volleyball court and some hammocks. The have meal deals for just 5$, activities everyday, and a shuttle bus that takes you to Cairns Center. The staff is very friendly and they are always willing to help. There's a good vibe with all the people, and I made good friends over there. One of the best backpackers I've been so far!! Recommended 100%"

"My partner n I have been staying in different motels , caravan parks n so on in cairns for the past 3 months . So many places were dirty , staff were very rude and alot of our belongings were stolen . Bohemia was far above all of the other places n great value for money. We stayed there for a total of three weeks , Wishing we had of found this place when we first came to cairns as it would of saved us alot of stress n we wouldnt of had nothing stolen .I loved the fact that we could hang our clothes on the line n they would still be there the next morning . I highly recommend BOHEMIA resort for ur budget cairns stay."

"We live in Cairns Area but we had Christmas dinner so we booked this Backpacker to sleep one night and literally I can understand why these guys got the 9.1 average points!! Very clean and quiet comparing to other back packers. Loved it. Definitely will come back :) "

"A very economical place to stay for a night. A little bit noisy from the bar next door, but had everything needed for a decent stay. It was an easy walk to the Cairns Station to catch the Spirit of Queensland. It's cheerful and cheap. Bed was comfy and shower was hot."

"I booked this hostel based on the good reviews and I totally agree with them. In fact, basically the whole of Cairns seem to agree, because luckily I booked in advance but a lot of people were disappointed to find out it was fully booked, and not just around the eclipse. So the good points about the hostel: clean and big rooms with ensuite bathroom, the atmosphere was great as there is a mix of people travelling alone, couples and families, younger and older backpackers etc. The deck is great to hang out and socialize and they have movie nights and bbq nights there etc. The location is good, about 10 mins walk to the Esplanade and supermarkets and restaurants around the corner. The kitchen is large and clean and has plenty of cooking space and the free breakfast is a nice bonus. The staff was overall very friendly and helpful. A negative point for some people may be that the dorms come in 6 beds only, but I liked it and the nights were quiet. Although the apartments offer other types of accomodation, but don't know anything about them. All in all, a great hostel. Even though it may be a bit more expensive than other hostels in Cairns, it is definitely worth its price!"
